It's a very small, hometown store which reminds me of growing up in Bozeman, MT before Bozeman was overrun by yuppies. Poly Food Basket is great. Last week, I was looking for rack of lamb & I tried 6 different places, including 2 meat markets, and no one had any. I called Poly Food Basket and they looked & said they didn't have any either. This was extraordinary customer service & I really appreciate a store that cares about its customers!! Thank you, Poly Food Basket!

Fantastic Wine in Wonderfully Welcoming Venue…read more My wife and I love City Vineyard and love wine. We've been enjoying great wine from C.V. for years, often chosen with the help of their excellent staff. This past Sunday we went to brunch at their wine tasting bar and lounge. So yummy! But what really struck us was what a wonderfully, welcoming environment it exuded. A happy group of diverse diners, enjoying the delicious offerings. And again, just as in the wine shop, the staff were helpful, happy and professional.

They have a solid selection of: Vitamins, Supplements, CBD Oils, Essential Oils, Homeopathic Remedies, Prebiotics, Probiotics, Herbal Teas, etc. Be sure to sign up for the reward program. The small Juice / Soup / Sandwich / Wrap bar (located in the middle of the store) is great! They put an emphasis on Organic and/or Gluten Free fare, which is awesome. The gentleman running/working the bar does a great job! Not your "run of the mill" soups. We got a couple bowls of Knoephla (GF), the other day & it was delicious. I do hope they expand the bar hours, at some point. It closes at 4:00 pm (M-F), but the store stays open until 6:30 pm. The bar also isn't open on Saturdays, which is a bummer. I'm probably just being selfish, but with a high of 9 degrees today, I could really go for a hot bowl of goodness, right about now. :-)

It's a family owned shop with fresh cut meats, mostly beef and pork, but there is also various kinds of bacon, deli meats, jerky, brats, and sausages. There's usually a special of some kind. From time to time, they have buffalo meat and chicken. They also will do deer processing. During the lunch hours, they have a special highlighting the meats -- a sandwich, a slider, maybe a loaded baked potato -- something small, but always tasty. It should be enough to convince you their meats are equally good -- and they are. Friendly group of people, good place to get local Montana meats for dinner, and at lunch, have a small snack.

It's a boutique store, carrying only the most requested things, and with prices that are not too far off from what they would be at a larger store. There are a couple of coolers with frozen items, a display case with pre-made sandwiches for a quick lunch, kitchen staples such as oils and vinegar, spices, tea, coffee, juices, soups, as well as a good-sized selection of office supply items and medications. I was just upset that I was charged $9.68 extra and found out after the fact. Initial review: Very disappointing, I went in to get steaks for my birthday. When I walk in the guy looks at me then walks to the back. I then was told the total was $72.50, and after the purchase the receipt said $82.18.
