They said "yes" but intentionally omitted that they are NOT CODA-accredited (and haven't been for 5 years). We were led to believe I'd be a CDA upon graduation. Instead, I found out mid-program that I have to work 3,200 hours first--a possible 2-year delay (unless you're doctor feels you're really talented and signs off early)that was never mentioned upfront. The school suggests working during the program to get those hours, but as a day student, most employers won't hire you due to the schedule. It's an impossible cycle. When I reached out for help, the Dean simply piggybacked off my conversation with the head of the department instead of offering a real solution, and the President has yet to respond at all. They try to sweep it under the rug by claiming New Jersey employers "only care about Radiology licenses," which ignores my long-term career growth. Beyond the accreditation, the education is suffering: * Overcrowded Classes: Classes are being merged, leaving teachers overwhelmed. * Lack of Hands-on Training: Labs are rushed and rare. You're expected to learn something once and then not touch it again until your internship. It's all lectures and quizzes. * The "Referral" Insult: They have the audacity to ask for referrals in exchange for two slices of pizza every few weeks while ignoring serious grievances from students paying full tuition. For the price they charge, Fortis needs to do much better. Do your research and ask for specific accreditation names before signing anything here. After the President commented on my review, I reached out as of yet I still have not received a phone call.

Booked this place for a birthday party and had an absolute blast. There was about 10 of us and you…read morecan host a private class or "clay date" with at least 6 people. It's $95 per person with 2 options. Either 5 attempts at the wheel or 2 wheel and 1 pinch pot option. What that means is that you have 2/5 attempts to make something on the spinning wheel. They walk you through step by step how to make it. It's enjoyable because everyone works to make their own creation. After, you move to another room to hand build something, really anything. You can think up or imaging. We ended up bringing snacks and drinks with us as well which they had no issues with. Class was about 2.5 hours long and you essentially pick which color you want your items to be and then leave them there to dry out and get fired and glazed. Then someone picks them up 5 weeks later. I would highly recommend. There were a lot of laughs and memories made. I would love to come back!

Orange, NJ…read moreand was blown away by the quality of instruction, the high quality class materials and the expertise of Sharon Bussey and the other instructors. In addition, my classmates, a great bunch of folks kept the class discussions lively, exciting and informative. Between the quality of the program and the interest of my classmates, as well as their genuine affection for each other, I learned a great deal. One of the really great benefits of the in-class training is that the input from the instructors and your classmates is IMMEDIATE and the modified Socratic teaching method helps one learn rather than just memorize the material. Sharon and her fellow instructors have developed a unique teaching style and methodology for imparting the information students need to learn, retain and be able to utilize so that when they take the PMP or CAPM exams, they are ready and fully prepared. Although I have not taken the PMP exam myself, several of my classmates did and passed on the first try. Again, a tribute to them, the school, the course materials and the quality of instruction. I plan to return to BTII Institute to take additional courses and the school's website also does a great job of detailing the course offerings, availability and costs. Many of the job related training courses are eligible for federal training/re-training grants and/or tuition reimbursement through employers. I recommend BTII to any and all potential students who have identified a need for additional education, training and skillsets. Sharon Bussey and her staff are friendly, caring, welcoming and genuinely concerned about the success of each and every student. I cannot recommend Sharon and BTII enough.
