I took the Project Management Academy (PMP) Boot camp in Aug 2019 in Parsippany, NJ with Allen Young as the instructor. Allen was fantastic! I first took the exam after studying on my own and failed. I struggled with understanding the concepts, processes, and inputs, tools, techniques, and outputs. Allen went through each process (and Knowledge Area), explaining exactly how the process works. Allen even used real world examples throughout the course to bring the processes into context which made understanding the material even easier. PMA also provided a wide range of hard-copy materials - which was extremely beneficial in studying! After taking this course, I finally passed the exam. I would absolutely recommend Allen Young and PMA for anyone interested in learning the material and passing the PMP exam. read more

Scott Mitchell was my instructor for the PMP Boot Camp Class I attended in early June 2018. The class content was intense but Scott knew all the important items to focus on. His approach for presenting the material and his constant use of examples made it easier to relate to and remember. I had a great pleasure to be part of the boot camp with Alan Gopin as my PMP coach from 8/10/15 - 8/13/15 in Morristown, NJ location. This is an excellent program with excellent teachers. I personally learned a lot and was able to pass my PMP exam on the first try exactly two weeks later. Alan went through the material in a motivating manner and is very knowledgeable. I took the PMA PMP prep course in January 2018. My instructor was Alan Gopin who was outstanding: clear/concise instruction, great additional info/perspective which helped tie key concepts together, and very engaging. The overall curriculum, structure and supporting materials (including online support) were excellent. My PMP journey was realized in key part due to PMA and my particular instructor. I took the PMP boot camp course at this location (June 2 - June 5, 2014). The instructor was Asad Haque. Asad was a great instructor. He was very knowledgeable and not only did he make the material easy to understand but he was also able to help the class understand the interconnections and interrelationships between different process groups and knowledge areas. The way the concepts were taught in class with Scott's personal experience and his exciting personality made the material much easier to grasp. The test was hard, but Scott recommended a 3-week post bootcamp study methodology that I followed exactly as he laid out and I passed the exam in July on my first attempt. Took the PMP boot camp class with PMA in NJ. The tools offered (study guides,test tips, online training resources) prepared me well me for the test. I still had to study a lot before the exam, but PMA tools/tips helped me focus on all critical areas. The instructor was very knowledgeable and made the class fun too.
