Large pool they opened up 3 lanes and had plenty instructors for attention!

They did a great job in assessing my twins during the first class. They really evaluated stroke techniques and rotational breathing. Within mins knew where each child should be placed and then focused on their stroke technique. I watched them run beginners and existing swimmer class... both gave each kids plenty of attention!

We've been at it for almost a year now. Chris, Chris, and all of the instructors have been great. My boys look forward to swim each weekend!

Best swim school in New Jersey, they do a great job teaching people of various ages how to swim.

Mr. Chris is very skilled in teaching as well as patient. I can't help believe that a great deal of my granddaughters success is the trust she has in her trainer and the feeling of caring for his students and his sincere commitment to their individualized progress, he demonstrates. The entire family is thrilled with SwimQuest.

The facility is set up to be both kid friendly, but also peaceful and serene. The lessons are a bit more expensive than the other leading kids swim school, but there are fewer kids so it is not nearly as chaotic. The kids definitely get great instruction and learn to swim in no time. Our son is not yet 3 and can nearly swim on his own after the lessons that he received here. The only thing that is a little strange with their structure is that your time and instructor are not guaranteed from one season to the next, so if you like your time slot and want to keep it, you need to wait in line on sign-up day. The benefit is that everyone has an equal chance of getting their preferred time each season and if you don't get it one season you have a chance the next season. Also, you need to pay for the full season up front, which is a big expense compared to other swim schools where you pay monthly. All in all, we've had a great experience here and would highly recommend it to get you child swimming well.

He had been in swimming lessons before, but didn't fit the description of the next level up. Turns out it was way to easy. Another problem was that there is no safety barrier for small children spectators. Just a bench and a few feet until the pools edge. I had to bring my 2 year-old, which was nerve racking. There is a waiting room, but if you wait there you can't see your child swim. Because there was no trial offered, I simply asked for a refund, which they were reluctant to give. So I asked to roll the amount into private lessons in the morning (which is the only time that fits my schedule). A few weeks went by and the only time slot they could provide was 11:30, which didn't work for us, so I asked for a refund again. Eventually they docked me the first class and sent me a check (adding an unfriendly note in the memo), but overall it wasn't a good customer service experience. When I texted (their preferred method of contact) I often got no response for days, and then when I called the person I spoke was wasn't friendly at all. Oh well!

The lifeguard on duty gave each child a brief swim test and made sure those not as skilled had the proper flootys. There is a change room area for the swimmers also. As I type the party is haulers by the presence of a huge bug on the table... I noticed everyone complaining about their eyes and throat burning in the pool. I will say of all the local swim places this place had the best rates for swim lessons so I will be in touch for that. I will absolutely recommend this place for lessons, or a local party option.

After spending 13 weeks taking online classes 8 hours a day, and studying at night an additional 3 hours a night, my wife passed all the exams and was hired by a local company shortly after she completely her coursework. They fired her after 8 weeks saying that she wasn't fast enough, wasn't what they were looking for - prior to this my wife was considered one of the top programmers in St. Louis. (This was in 2008 when companies were either outsourcing to India, or downsizing). When we complained to SetFocus, they had their lawyers send us a 10 page threat so we backed off and ate the loss. We're not wealthy people - it was a significant financial loss. My wife was so demoralized she never returned to the IT field after that, and took a few low level administrative positions until she was old enough for social security.

They never said exactly what jobs were available nor do I think they even read my resume. The skills assessment test had nothing to do with technical skills. Do you need to know programming C#, Java, php, windows, linux, project management? NO! It was a bs test with GMAT type analytical questions. Thank goodness I was able to find other postings online for this place which warned me what this place was all about. Shame on you for preying on poor unemployed folks looking for a job. I wouldn't given this place a bad review, and I might have considered going here if they tell you up front they're a training school. Instead, they tell you you're interviewing for a job and making you jump through hoops, and then they tell you later your skills need to be updated and their training can get you there. This is entirely shady and how can I trust someplace if all they're doing is a BAIT AND SWITCH scam. Hopefully this review will help someone else looking for a job in case they want more info on this place.
