Elite Martial Arts has changed my life permanently for the better. I am now a black belt after years of hard work, fun, and training. Yes, I learned how to defend myself incredibly well; but the experience of studying at Elite Martial Arts has bled into literally every aspect of my life, in more ways than I could imagine. The instructors exude excellence not just at martial artists, but also as people. That's a big reason of why I love training there. I learned the self-discipline to persist through all obstacles in life, the ability to believe in myself, and I have a genuine self-respect that came directly from my training. I attribute a big part of my ability in life now as a professional musician and actor to the roots and principles I learned during my martial arts training at Elite Martial Arts. I believe many people, as I have, will come to Elite Martial Arts, for the exceptional martial arts training and the fun in learning it; but leave with so much more than that. Elite Martial Arts will always be an integral part of my life; one that I hope everyone has the opportunity to experience. read more

I have had the pleasure of working with Elite Martial Arts since for the past year we have been business neighbors. The environment in their studio is very professional, yet very "kid" friendly at the same time! The children are very courteous and respectful as is demanded by the staff. Many of our children attend the karate school as well, and we have noticed a significant improvement in their self appreciation which is demonstrated by respecting others. They all seem to be looking forward to each day they take class. We merged our business's for a short summer camp program, which was very well received and the children want a repeat performance next summer. We have rented out our space to other karate studios in the past, and this business far surpasses the others. We highly recommend it as a place for your children to attend! It's worth the trip from any location in Morris County! read more

I was looking for a Karate School that was more traditional (rather than Mcdojo Shulman's). We came across Elite Martial Arts and decided to check them out. I am so glad that we did. My son and I went for our first meeting and met the Sensei. Sensei took his time evaluating my son Nic and didn't 'rush' though our meeting. We had been training at another "MMA" school so Sensei wanted to see what skills and techniques my son already knew. When he was done, we decided right then and there that we wanted to join this school. That was over 3 years ago. Today I can say proudly that my son is an Elite Martial Arts Junior Black Belt. (The junior only means he is under 16) What an accomplishment for anyone of any age. And I can attest to that, I am also a student. If you are looking for traditional karate and weaponry, Elite Martial Arts is a great place to be. read more

I trained as a student at Elite for close to 6 years. I started shortly before entering high school and I remember walking in for my first day of class not sure how I would do in comparison to the students that had been training for a few years. I was able to quickly pick up and the curriculum through the wonderful instruction of Sensei Kaye. As I progressed through my training I began to have more confidence in myself. Eventually the time came that I had reached the level of skill needed to vie for my black belt. That trial was to this day that hardest and most rewarding thing I have ever done. I highly recommend Elite Martial Arts for children of all ages and even to adults. You are never to old to begin training and I believe Elite Martial Arts is the best school possible. read more

I only have good things to say about Elite Martial Arts. My children started attending karate classes 4 years ago. Two years ago during a promotion where parents can train free with their kids, both of us adults started too. And we haven't stopped! The family feel here is incredible. So far we have one black belt in our family and plan on earning black belts for the other 3 of us. EMA is also really amazing with accommodating special needs. We have had difficulties with attention, focus, behavior, and other medical needs and all of the instructors have been so supportive and effective. Martial arts is highly recommended to help with ADHD and we believe that wholeheartedly. Go for a trial and stay for the long haul, you won't regret it. read more

Elite Marital Arts, is a great place for your child to learn confidence ,team building and great friendships. They have become a big part of our family. I have watched my son go from someone who would stand there and watch everything going on, now he is part of the family at Elite as a Star member helping little ones learn Karate and find confidence in themselves. Area sports just don't cut it for us, the teams already know who will be on that team. At Elite your child works for himself not a team. There isn't a day that goes by you can't walk in and ask for guidance with your child. They have helped me learn how to be a better parent to my son. I wouldn't know what to do without Elite Martial Arts in our lives. Thank you so much!!! read more

I highly recommend this dojo. The staff is friendly, patient and caring... especially Kim. Kim is a dedicated and valued team member at Elite Martial Arts with a natural ability to connect with both students and parents. Her background in special needs education allows her to manage challenging behaviors with empathy and professionalism. Kids are drawn to her warm, positive energy and consistently seek her out at the dojo. Kim actively promotes Elite through regular social media posts and community events, always looking for ways to help it grow. Her strong work ethic, positive attitude, and team spirit make her an invaluable asset to the organization. read more

I've come across many martial artists in my 13 years of experience, but I have never met a team like the one at Elite Martial Arts. Every instructor is professionally trained and takes personal responsibility for the care and instruction of each student. It can be intimidating to walk into a place you've never been - especially if it's your first time trying the martial arts. But I can honestly say they make everyone feel like they are a part of the family. Plus, they offer their students opportunities to meet martial arts masters from around the world, that's something I haven't found anywhere else! read more

I love this school! Being from the Morris County area this place was close and affordable! I've been to 2 birthday parties here and the kids have always had a blast. The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating. I was encouraged to take some classes there as well and I was NOT disappointed. As a beginner the instructors really worked with me and challenged me at the same time! This school is for anyone who is even a little bit interested in martial arts! I will definitely keep coming back!! Thank you Elite Martial Arts for opening new doors for me! read more

Terrific classes in traditional karate. This school offers a lot of different classes. There is karate, grappling workshops, Kata workshops, sparring workshops, weaponry, after school programs (TASMA) and monthly parent nights out where the kids get three hours of fun, food and karate while the parents get a night off. In addition they participate in many community activities including a bully prevention workshop that Sensei teaches in the Rockaway township schools. read more

My son has been a student of EMA for 5 years. Elite Martial Arts has an excellent program....working to increase Jake's confidence and focus. Kyoshi, Sensai, Joshu and all the Sempai keep the children engaged and interested in being "on a quest" to be the best! They continually instill confidence, self esteem and the ability to achieve goals through hard work, focus and discipline. We are proud to be a part of this Dojo. read more
