I felt very comfortable after our consultation. She was very meticulous with her work. She took her time and demonstrated precision and patience (she is a perfectionist). Fast-forward to the end, I was so happy. My hair looked so much healthier and she literally did exactly what I wanted. I have been back since then, and will continue to go back as long as she will keep me as a client. I looked up his services on his site, great site by the way. Very detailed, easy to navigate, and very convenient to book and pay without having to call. I got the hot towel beard trim, which includes clipper and scissor beard trim, lined up with a straight razor, 45 minutes for $45. It offers the same hot towel steps as the hot towel face shave, which includes hot towels, shaving balms, hot lather, single chilled towels after the straight razor, and aftershave to finish, except for the beard trim, naturally you keep your beard. When I tell you I walked out of there smelling fresh and clean, I wish I could have kissed myself! Garrett is an expert at his craft! Very welcoming, and he has a hilarious sense of humor that makes the experience that much more enjoyable. His shop is inviting as well; tea, tea concentrate which I didn't even know was a thing, coffee, water, sodas. It's the type of place where even if you weren't having anything done, you would just want to come in and chill. Okay, last thing! Garrett is a wealth of knowledge, it must be in the name, lol. He is focused on your beard, not just doing the same routine for each client. The process was simple, went to their website, scheduled an appointment, and headed on my way to the west side. Now here is the fun tricky part of things. Their showroom is located in the same complex as Cooks and Soldiers but the door to their showroom is located at the top of the parking lot and their is no sign. Now this might throw some people off, but for me, I thought it added to the low-profile sort of under the radar that I love about this brand. Once inside, Mike from CMMP showed me around their loft space, poured me a drink of scotch and we checked out some of their suiting options, shirts, and different fabrics. After about an hour of messing around with different options, we took a ton of measurements which, I liked because I have had a few made-to-measure shirts where they only took like 8-10 measurements and the shirts came out like shit. Fast forward a few weeks, came back for my fitting, super happy and shirts fit great. Next up, going to get a winter jacket for fall.
