I had an SR22 filing, a legal requirement that only the insurance company can see--not the customer. In June 2025, I sold my car and canceled the title. I then asked Bridge First to cancel my insurance. They did so without warning me that canceling an active SR22 policy would lead to automatic suspension of my driver's license. The cancellation was processed by Jessica, with no mention of the SR22, no questions asked, and no warning. A simple reminder would have saved me from losing my license, paying $175 in fees, and going through the stress of reinstating my driving privileges. When I called to understand what went wrong, I spoke with Wade, who was dismissive and unhelpful. Instead of assisting, he said it wasn't their responsibility to check my file or remind me about the SR22. Worse, he tried to shift the blame to Progressive, insisting that they--not Bridge First--should have warned me. He also claimed he couldn't discuss the SR22 further unless I showed it to him or got it from the DMV--a clear sign he doesn't understand that SR22 filings are only visible to insurance providers, not consumers. As a result, I wasted another hour on hold with the DMV, only to confirm what Bridge First should have known all along. This is unacceptable. Bridge First Insurance acts as if they are only here to sell policies--not to support or protect their customers. They take no responsibility when things go wrong, and their staff clearly lack basic knowledge about what they're selling. They also refused to continue communication, leaving me to clean up the mess alone. If you're looking for a company that understands insurance and values its customers, look elsewhere. Bridge First will not stand by your side, and their negligence will cost you time, money, and unnecessary stress. They do not deserve the ratings they currently have.

Very bad business to not call or email your customers back. ....no explanation .....no reply......nothing from the office. This was several messages that went completely ignored. I switched on January 10, 2025 to David Munsons office in Bethesda and I'm very happy with his service.. formally I was with Jon Laskin. He was excellent as well. I think there's a lack of interest with this office. To not return a call to a paying customer is unacceptable. There are many other State Farm agents out there that would welcome business, not this one. This is based on my personal experience with this office. I Definitely do not recommend.

    My family had purchased multiple policies from Craig Griffith's office for several decades. They…read morehave always been extremely responsive to sales calls... very detailed and willing to take the time to explain various aspects of policies. While that is appreciated, it's not unsurprising for an office to be approachable and accessible when sales are involved. More recently I had the misfortune of having to file a claim. I felt State Farm (as a larger company) was not handling our claim properly - every call was conflicting and confusing and if you missed a call it was impossible to get them back on the line. I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager and my request was denied. So, I reached out to Craig Griffith's office asking just that - could they simply tell me how I should go about speaking to a supervisor or manager in claims? The response was to, again, ignore my request and ask when we could discuss a new policy. When Craig himself got involved (near the end of the email chain) I had already asked about changing my agent. Craig proceeded to paint me in an unethical light by implying I asked his office to override a claim decision. I never did ask that nor would I do such a thing - I had only asked if they knew how I could speak to someone else in claims. (FWIW, I ended up calling another agent and found out I wasn't using the right number... easy problem to solve but the first assumption by Craig Griffith's office was that I was dishonest and fraudulent.) I agree with the reviews that state they are positive, responsive, and rates are reasonable - with sales - but the true test of customer service is when there is a problem and their immediate response was to throw our business away.

One of the things I was most impressed with about Josh was that he says what he's going to do and then he does it. He arrived at my house on time and looking sharp. The presentation he made was straightforward and convincing. I had a 401(k) account with a previous employer that Josh worked with me to rollover to a Traditional IRA. Now my money is being watched by someone who is conscious of my goals and lifestyle. It felt great to be involved in the decision-making process. I'm confident my nest egg is secure. One thing I had never considered was the tax-diversification benefits of cash value life insurance and the other benefits of term insurance. His process was exhaustive. Since I put the financial plan in place, Josh meets with me every 6 months for a check-up/review.
