I don't know about Springfield location. My WARNING! is about Progressive insurance all together. I was driving back in Feb/Mar 2023., a Rock/Pepple decided to fly up a smack my windshield. Not big crack more like a asterisk. We'll warm weather and a few weeks and I'm now staring at a 5"-6" crack. Went to schedule appointment for repair and Progressive is trying to pass the claim off to previous insurance. Stay away from progressive also ask the questions prior to choosing an insurance policy. Will they honor all claims, is the answer in writing. No one wants to honor their commitments. Only take your money now days. Buyer beware. We live in a time of all take no give society! read more

I have had nothing but good experiences with progressive especially with this center. Other than the fact that it is sort of in the middle of nowhere in an industrial park in Springfield. I was rear ended last summer & dropped my car off to be fixed, it was Labor Day weekend & I had plans to go out of town. They had no problem with me driving the car to TN. I was having some other scratches fixed on my car as well, I was supposed to pick up my car when I returned back but I received a call from Progressive that they were not happy with the paint job the repair shop did to my car. This happened another time before they decided to just go ahead & replace my bumper without charging me the extra labor they were going to, to fix the other scratches on my car. Everyone is super nice, helpful & the facility is clean with space agey finishes that you expect from this company. They also offer drinks, & snacks while you wait as well as free ipads & wifi to use while you are there. I just had to bring my car back for another unrelated incident & the service was the same, they even cut me a check on the spot! I will totally be sticking with Progressive for the long haul! read more

Went in the other day to only get an estimate on how much my repairs were going to cost. That changed however when I walked in and was greeted by Edric. He was very helpful and attentive to my concerns. I got a rental car, all my questions answered, and my car taken care of under 15 minutes. It was the most seamless process I have ever gone through after a car accident. Will always come back to this center for service (much better than calling Progressive imo). read more

The customer service is great here, however everything else falls short. The office, while nice, is located in the middle of nowhere in Springfield, and they practically give you no choice with their limited office hours whether to rent a car or not, while you get yours fixed. I was in a fender bender a couple of months ago and decided to get a couple of other scratches and dents fixed, not related to the fender bender. This location quoted a great price, however now I see why it was a great price. Fixing the dents and scratches, I'm told, will take FIVE DAYS! This lengthy amount of time is an issue, but even moreso because their hours are 7am to 7pm only on weekdays, so I can't even drop the car off on a weekend, and I can't drop it off during their business hours without being able to get home! My plan doesn't cover rental cars, and this location provides no transportation to the Springfield metro, but it does provide rental cars through Enterprise for a fee (which is conveniently located right next to the office in the middle of nowhere..) My car was rear-ended in a parking lot. I was not present. When I got home I called Progressive claims and was told that under my policy I was covered with a $200 deductible. They arranged a rental and the autobody shop. Dropped off my car, picked up the rental and two days later I am told that my claim would not be covered. Don't buy Progressive, they're cheap but the won't cover you when you need it. Nationwide in Warrenton sells their policies even though they know Progressive has a poor record. read more

He provided an outstanding customer service that anyone would be lucky to receive! I was looking for a better quote than my original Insurance plan and Marlon definitely understood where I was coming from. He tried his best to calculate all his numbers several times to find the right price and as you can tell he SUCCEEDED!!! If this guy doesn't get a trophy, then he definitely deserves a PROMOTION!! His patience and understanding spoke volumes over the phone and it truly does make a difference in someone's day and says a lot about the Company that they represent. My car got hit and totaled parked in front of my house by one of their clients. I have been dealing with Amin Alhassan for over a month. He does not return calls for emails. His voicemail says your car will be returned before the end of the day, but it doesn't say what day. This has got to be without any doubt the worst insurance company you could deal with. They have really bad reviews on the Better Business Bureau too. read more

Progressive service center in Springfield has been great throughout the process, which they made as painless as possible for me and very easy to set up the rental car on-site (with their partner, Enterprise). I've gone through this experience on two different occasions and was equally impressed both times. The center itself is nice and has ample seating, free coffee and snacks and very friendly and capable agents to receive customers there. They call me with weekly updates keeping me informed about the status of my car repair and costs. The car repairs will be even completed ahead of schedule compared to the original estimated timeline I was given. read more

This is a Progressive Insurance Drop off point for insurance auto repair. First the body work that was done on my 2012 Grand Sport Corvette was perfect. The check out process, not so much. They have a sign on the glass door "No Cash" so I brought my check book to pay my $500 deductible, the guy handling my car tells me he will not accept a personal check, that he will only take a credit card. The inference being the check might bounce. So I have four cards no problem, but didn't feel quite right, there was no sign anywhere stating they only take credit cards and I said so. No reply from James. I get in my car and proceed to leave the lot and my low fuel light came on. The car had a little less than 1/2 a tank when I dropped it off and now was showing past zero. So someone must have been really pushing it get about 3 mpg. I went back inside to complain and got the sorry your problem look. I barely made it to the gas station to fill up the tank. I have a solution for this kind of behavior. GET A NEW AUTO INSURANCE COMPANY. read more

I was very impressed with this office. I was the victim of a rear ending on the highway. I have USAA and the guilty party had progressive. I was a little nervous about getting properly reimbursed. Progressive called me a day after I made the claim with USAA. I made an appointment with this office. Brought the required paperwork to them and in 30 mins I was out the door with a check for full payment of damage. I was amazed, and am considering changing insurance companies if that's how progressive runs their business. Can't remember the name of the counter guy. Older gentlemen with a goat T. I was initially impressed by Progressive after my car was hit by one of their clients when he backed out of a parking lot. After waiting 12 days, however, I finally got a response from their claims investigator. They said they had determined that it was partially my fault for being hit even though I was not moving. They said the passenger in my car (a visitor from Vietnam) could not be a witness because she was a passenger. The guy who hit me said it was entirely his fault and the investigator at the Progressive Claims Center told me it was obvious the other car had been a fault. None of that mattered. They refuse to accept any responsibility. They are a dishonest, sleazy company! If I could give them minus 5 stars, I would. read more

Progressive lost a long term customer after an experience at this service center. I had to visit them 7 times in their inconvenient location to refuse my car twice, be promise follow up calls that never happened by all members of management, be treated with false smiles and the final straw was the refusal to live up to the "guarantee" of the work done to my car. If they tell you your car is going to East Coast Collision, REFUSE!! This was a lot of the poor review cause. However the lack of concern from all members of the staff and from my claim rep and customer service calls ultimately lost me as a long term customer to Geico. I even told them many times I was close, yet they did nothing to keep me or even care if I left. I am still speaking with progressive upper management thought the "escalated" phone service number to resolve an issue the service center management refused to take care of. Part of the false promise of guaranteeing the work performed. Or in this case, charged for by the shop but obviously not performed. Go to Geico. Save some money. Save a huge hassle. read more

Stay away from Ian Sholoih if you work with this service center.......by the way Ian is a Supervisor! Now to give you details to what happened. I was side swapped by a Progressive driver in November. I am also a Progressive customer. It took 5 weeks before I could take my car to be repaired because the claims representative could not reach the person who hit me. Finally the week before Christmas we take the car to be repaired. Once my husband (because he works in Springfield) picked up my car he told Mike he thought some scratches were not repaired. Mike said no problem, have your wife look at the car, if you need to you may bring back the car. I looked at my car, called the service center spoke to a supervisor, Ashley said - no problem, bring back the car and we will see what can be done. I made an appointment for Jan 3 to return to the car for a second look; stating my husband works in the area and will bring back the car. January 3 my husband took my car to the service center for a second look and to discuss what could be done. This is when everything turned for the WORST. He was "greeted" by Ian with "so you are bringing back the car" not, "hello" "how may I help you" "i understand you have concerns" not to even mention no introduction, no hand shake, etc. From the beginning Ian set the tone of not being interesting in helping. My husband let that go and proceeded to discuss the concerns at hand of some scratches that were not addressed during the repairs. Ian was not too interested in hearing out my husband, but he did show my husband the pictures Progressive took once they originally received my car; in which the scratches in question were acknowledged in their pictures. There are 2 scratches on my driver door that were there when we purchased the car 3 months earlier. We were honest to not state those scratches were apart of the incident; Ian used that as opportunity to be smart with my husband questioning him "how are these not included in the incident, but these are?" My husband still kept his cool and stuck to the matter at hand. Ian then attempted to distract his attention by changing the topic to policy coverage! That my husband must be added to the policy, etc. My husband asked to see the policy where this was stated and he was unable to provide any information to my husband stating it is a requirement. Mind you when I mentioned my husband was dropping off the car, there was no disclosure of only the person on the policy can drop off the car; because this is not the case. Ian completely manipulated the situation to policy coverage to diver the original concern. 1 of the worst things about this is Ian is a Supervisor; this is the customer service we were getting from a Supervisor!!!!!! My husband helped me to drop off the car because he works in the Springfield area. We were dropping off the car because of a Claim Not because of Policy Coverage Issues! We immediately took this up with his boss Matthew Jordan. Matthew was very transparent and fully acknowledged Ian's short comings in the situation, it is not the responsibility of a service center employee to discuss policy, and that Ian should have Never even brought up my husband being on the policy or the policy period! Today I check my mail and find a letter stating confirmation of policy change. Ironically January 3 my husband was added to my policy retro active to the date of incident!!!!! My husband and I are OUTRAGED!!!! Ian Sholoih, a Supervisor, at this service center took it upon Himself to add my husband to my policy WITHOUT my nor my husband's authorization and consent! My husband did not provide Ian with any personal information. Ian added him as my husband as a 17 year old! My 6 month coverage jumped $1500!!!!!!! Now we have to spend the time to remove him from the policy. Bottom line, we took my car for repairs for an incident I am not at fault of, and had a policy change done that costs $1500!!!!!!!! I called Progressive customer service - the number on my renewal documents,who actually does policy coverage - confirmed it is suggested as my husband to be on the policy for liability but it is not a Requirement! Needless to say we have followed up with Matthew (awaiting follow up) and will be escalating this to Matthew's boss as well. I really can't say how outraged and appalled we are by Ian's spite. Everything about Ian Sholoih is HORRIBLE. If he attempts to help you, request another supervisor! read more

After the accident last year my car was repaired at this place. A year later problem came up with the repair, manager John owned up without any hesitation and wrote me a check for the repair done at the dealership within 24 hours. I'll definitely go to this place for my future car repairs. Great customer service, without a doubt, I would highly recommend Progressive collision center to anyone. Not this particular progressive location but the company in general. I was a progressive customer for over 5 years. Even had 3 cars at one time with a very good deal on car insurance. During my 5th year I received one ticket and my insurance increased by $400.00. I was told by the representative that I had already utilized all the discounts eventhough I had a clean driving record for all of this time. One ticket increased my rate drastically (I had removed one vehicle over a year ago from my policy). Needless to say this company has no loyalty to its customers unless you stay within the parameters of no tickets no accidents (the reason why we have to have insurance in the first place-for just in case scenarios. No one wants to be in an accident or get a ticket. I would not recommend Progressive Insurance to anyone. I only gave one star because none was not an option. read more

Can I leave a 0 star review? Worst car repair customer service I have ever had. On the positive, the repairs look good, with no noticeable cosmetic damage. Now for the bad, my cruise control stopped working, and I had a low tire pressure monitor error after I was rear ended. I reported both of these issues when the car was brought in, but after fixing the body damage, they called and told me that these issues were not cause by the accident. They claimed to have performed diagnostics, and that I would need to pay for new cruise control steering wheel fixtures to fix the issue. After several days of arguments and agreeing to pay a diagnostic fee at an actual dealer, They finally took the car to an Infiniti dealer, who quickly refreshed the cruise control system, I received a finished car that looked good, but still had a low tire pressure monitor light on the dash. Had to take it back to the dealer to have them reset the light. Please do yourself a favor and avoid taking your car to this establishment. It is covered under insurance, and they can pay to have you fixed properly. read more
