As a three-time (really four-time) returning customer, I'm writing this review with a lot of frustration and disappointment. My previous experiences with this company were positive--good enough that I would've rated them a solid 4 stars. The work was well done, and I was happy enough to keep coming back, even knowing they weren't the cheapest option out there. I believed I was paying for quality, and until recently, I felt I was getting it. Fast forward to our most recent project--an outdoor bar and kitchen installed about 18 months ago. On Memorial Day, the seam in the granite countertop broke, causing the counter itself to break. We were told the damage was irreparable. Honestly, for something as durable (and expensive) as granite, we expected it to last much longer than 18 months. During my conversations with their staff, I kept hearing, "We're a good company--we'll make this right." That gave me some initial hope. But after a few visits and discussions, it was determined that the failure was likely due to lack of support underneath and glue failure. That's not a customer error--that's a workmanship issue. With major events coming up at our house (a graduation and a wedding shower), I was under pressure to get this resolved quickly. I started talking with the general manager about how to move forward. That's when I learned what "make it right" meant: I would need to purchase a brand-new countertop--again--and also pay for additional supports that should have been included the first time. There are a few key points that I think matter here: * The original install was done in the middle of winter--10 degrees outside--despite me clearly saying I wasn't in a rush and it just needed to be done by Memorial Day. * They claim the cold and glue failure weren't factors, but I have my doubts. * I never wanted a seam in the counter to begin with. I was told it was unavoidable and that I wouldn't notice it. But I did notice it, and more importantly--it failed. * Oddly, the replacement countertop didn't require a seam. That only raises more questions for me. We also spent a lot of time planning where to put the supports for the replacement, but no one discussed the lack of support on the original install. I even gave the installer corbels during the original job, and he said they weren't needed because "the counter isn't going anywhere." Well, it did. That same installer came back to help with the replacement and even thought the work was being done at no charge--just the supports. Turns out, I was buying a brand-new countertop. To me, a good company stands by its work, especially for loyal returning customers, and even more so when it's clear the issue was due to how the product was installed--not user error. Granite is supposed to last for years. That's the whole reason people invest in it. Ours didn't even make it to two years. So, would I use this company again? No. I don't think I would. There are definitely some kind people working there, and I genuinely believe they wanted to make it right--right up until the moment I had to write a check for a new counter. My husband and i went to Progressive to pick out a countertop. We picked the slab that we wanted. Progressive had the dimensions, design, and layout of what the job would be. They gave us a quote and we agreed. They sent my husband a layout and asked if he was ok with where the seam would go. They did not tell him anything about the grains or how the countertop was not going to match up. They recorded him saying yes, and then use that against him to say that he agreed to the whole layout. What kind of company does that? My husband does not know the first thing about laying a countertop. We paid $5,000 for a service from a company that was supposed to be reputable and knowledgeable. Frankly, if this was my business, I would be embarrassed that that's the countertop that they would be OK with. Imagine walking into your kitchen waiting to see your beautiful countertops and from across the room the first thing you notice is a big seam and a countertop that has grains that go in opposite directions. We've been told by a few people from progressive that this is not a normal way to put in a countertop. So I'm not sure why the original people who put it in would have been OK with it or the people who sold it to us not telling us that the countertop would not flow and the Seam would be that noticeable. If they had, I would have chosen a different company. I am completely perplexed as how a company would be OK with me telling people that I bought this from progressive and the progressive installed it. Again, if it was my company, I would be embarrassed. When we reached out they were dismisssive and. told us there was nothing they could do unless we wanted to spend another $3,000. Very good costumer service. They're the best. They're very knowledgeable honest and on top of things.

Please stay away from this company! First, they installed the wrong slab from the one we picked out! They tried to pawn off another terrible piece of countertop in place of the one we were promised and then tried lying about it. Maybe they thought they would get away with it but thankfully we took pictures of us with the actual slab the day we purchased proving they messed up. George (the GM) and Lucianna (our sales rep) both said we were wrong and wouldn't help me! After days of trying, I finally get Ed (the owner) on the phone, but he turns out to be worse than the other two, saying that I was lying and wrong and that actual slab we picked out was already sold and even if we wanted it, it was already gone and there was nothing he could do for me. Then, because of the grace of God, I get a break! Ed thought he hung up the phone on me but instead I got to overhear his entire conversation with George and Lucianna that the actual slab we were promised was actually still on the lot but to never tell me, because that would prove me right. I was amazed that this happened and immediately drove to their store in Toms River to confront them about what I just heard and finally get this resolved. I called back and told George and Ed I was coming down and to please meet with me. When I meet them outside, I start to explain why I came down there, telling them that I overheard their conversation and called them out on it hoping that they would finally fess up and get this corrected. Instead, I immediately feel threatened by Ed and George in their own parking lot. Ed literally got in my face and yelled at me saying "You are really pissing me off!" At the same time George gets real close to me and they both surround me like they were going to fight me or something. I even had to tell them to back away because they were making me uncomfortable. Who in their right mind treats their customers like that! I felt like I was in a bad movie. But I wouldn't back down knowing I caught them, I was not going to be threatened by them. This was a lot of money for me and my wife to spend and it needed to be corrected. They finally broke down and as their obvious admission to guilt they offered me to pick out another slab and would have the bad one replaced. They even offered me the first slab we were supposed to get the in the beginning. Instead I found one I thought was better and Ed even personally marked it out how I wanted it cut this time. I feel they should offer this option to everyone. So instead of calling the cops as I should have done, I decided to take the offer and try and put this behind me and my family. The problems didn't stop there though. To this day, I am still fighting them to fix the damage done to the new slab they installed. Last conversation George hung up on me in mid conversation! That was 3 days ago and I haven't heard back from them since. They hate that I caught them and have not backed down but I just want them to do what is right. I am not sure what my next step will be but It has been a nightmare for us. From the jump, we were lied to, treated like dirt, then pushed around, bullied and intimidated by trying to make them correct their wrongs. I would warn you to stay away. Otherwise, be prepared to be lied to and intimidated when you try and simply resolve a concern. Please please please take me seriously. I am concerned about those that either don't know any better or unable to defend themselves against bullies and crooks. I would not otherwise spend this time to write this whole review if I wasn't worried about anyone else looking to use this company. I had a granite counter top installed and to me it looks dirty. Also there are sections that look as if has smeared spots or cloudy. It looks as if it just wasn't cleaned before the sealer was placed on it. I have called a couple of times to complain and had someone come out to look at it, but was told it is stone, not all stones are the same. what would I expect. Some one should have told us that every section of the granite block needed to be inspected before purchase. I was under the impression that any defects would be buffed out... I was wrong. 'Would not recommend this place of business not granite.. I should have been told what to expect not only that the only way to damage granite was with another piece of grante..which isn't correct either. This was one of the most frustrating companies I've ever had to deal with in my life. Whenever I addressed a problem with the counter tops, cause there were MANY, they would talk down to me and try to belittle me. My marble did not come with a HUGE gap by the stove. Over a half inch. My sink was not properly mounted. The entire job was milled down to one inch thickness (probably because somewhere in the cutting process, something was messed up and had to be milled down) . I would not recommend this company. there counters are of the lowest quality. We purchased a stone counter, and from day 1 it has been a total ruin. The counter was stained with what looks like anything that was put down caused the staining. They did come and sprinkled Ajax and used a sander to clean counter. All they did was get the Ajax all over my wood floors and stools. Meanwhile not one stain was removed the counter still is covered. with the stains. This is a big disappointment to me and when I look at it every day I become very upset. My husband and I are both in our 80's and the money we spent on these counter was not worth it. Their staff was professional and easy to work with, they had our slab in on time, measurements and installation we right on schedule, and the quality of the work was exceptional. I wanted to write to you to tell you about the incredible experience we had with Progressive Dimensions from start to finish!   Timmy came out to measure.  He was on time, efficient and informative.  He took his time measuring, talked to me about the different countertop options, the back splash and more.  He really knew what he was talking about and made the process very clear.  He was easy to work with and very friendly! We came to the store to look at countertops and met with Scott Graham who took his time explaining the differences between quartz, granite and hard marble.  It was a torrential down pour but he went into the yard with us, let us take our time looking at all the other slabs, discussed options with us, helped us make a good decision and did not complain once about getting completely soaked!  We left very happy with our decision but being as I am somewhat indecisive I wanted to look again so we returned to the showroom where another employee (apologies I forgot her name) went back out into the pouring rain with us, without complaint, all for me to decide I was happy with what we originally picked!  Both employees took their time in talking to me about countertops, maintenance, sink options and more.  Your staff clearly knows their stuff! On the day of the install Luis, Arnol and Angelo came to the house and did a wonderful job!  They were very careful, took their time and made sure everything was perfect.  They reviewed how to take care of the countertop and made sure we were fully happy before leaving.  They did not rush, were respectful of our home and cabinets and made sure to clean up after their work. Very disappointed with my new granite counters. They were not sealed properly, even though I paid extra for a better sealer. They look terrible due to stains and they're not even a year old. They're open on weekends for sales. However, if you need service, you'll need to take a day off from work. They do not provide service on weekends, only Monday through Friday. The real rating is 0 stars. This place and the people who work on the cabinets there are incompetent, untrustworthy, cut corners and could not care less about their customers or solving their problems. A job that was supposed to take 6 weeks is now going on 5 months and still has multiple outstanding issues. These people try to fix things themselves which ends up making the problems worse. They claim they check items thoroughly when they deliver them only to find things dented, scratched, wrong sized and/or defective. There is no end to this nightmare so do yourself a favor and avoid working with this outfit at all costs. I am not one to post negative reviews however, our experience with Progressive Dimensions was far from pleasant. Where they make up for their prices, which were by far the best we found, they completely lack with professionalism and customer service. From the moment we had our initial appointment, Stephanie made us feel like tiny ants. She scolded us and humiliated us and told us we could not have all of the things on our list (price, color, quality) and that we had to stop being so picky. It was mortifying. We had told her we received a verbal quote from the owner Ed, to which she replied "this is a sales job". He did eventually honor his verbal agreement. The only pleasant experience we did have was with their templater Reggie who was wonderful to work with. They called us "pissed off customers" when their installation date was 3 weeks more than they originally promised- of course told to us AFTER our deposit was made. When they finally did come to install, they arrived 2 hours after the window of time promised (understandable given the circumstances with COVID). They ripped up our old countertops leaving HUGE holes in the wall. If you are looking to save money but be treated like garbage, go with this place. Thinking about having Progressive Dimensions install your counter-tops? Stop! Run! There are plenty of better local options. I invested over $8,000.00 for granite counter tops which were provided and installed by this company. We spent plenty of time looking at and discussing the 3 different slabs available for our large kitchen island needs with a store representative to choose the slab with the best movement and ensure visual appeal. During this time they never called to our attention the many imperfections in the slab which would not be buffed out before delivery. The quality of the slab actually delivered has so many scratched and physical blemishes it is embarrassing. Upon contacting their installation manager and finally getting him to agree to come out to look at the concern he was disinterested, dismissive and said the form we signed, which we were told was to schedule the installation, absolved them of any concerns with the quality of the slab due to "natural imperfections". This is dishonest and in my opinion a deliberate attempt to deceive in order to sell an inferior product. The actual installation was not any better. At best their crews can be categorized as "Pump Artist" meaning their main concern is to "pump out" work as quickly as possible without any true concern with the quality of their work. Progressive Dimensions was more than happy to take our money but when it became time to discuss the quality of their product and workmanship they became conveniently unavailable. This company likes to tout themselves as a family business but that certainly is not a benefit to the customer as they are more concerned with their bottom line then the product you receive. My experiece working with Progressive Dimensions was fantastic! Jim was a very polite, helpful and accomodating salesman. Tim arrived on time and did a great job measuring with their state of the art digital laser system, very cool to watch! Joey, Carlos and Ariel were the install team; they were fantastic! They called ahead and advised me of exactly what time they would arrive (to the minute) and they did not disappoint. All were very respectful, pleasant and personable. They provided me with instructions on care and useage and advised me to call if I have any issues and they'll come back to take care of it. The ladies in the office were great too! I am very satisfied with the granite countertop I purchased from Progressive Dimensions. I needed approximately 72 s/f and it was priced very well compared to other stores. The installers Arielt and Joey were very professional and had great pride in their work. It was a difficult installation due to the size of the granite pieces. After they left I found a very small chip that wasn't noticeable at first, they came back with no problem and repaired it. I am very satisfied with Progressive Dimensions and their professionals. So we have used Progressive Dimensions once before for our kitchen countertop and they did a beautiful job. They were on time, easy to work with, the installation guys were great. We decided to use them again for our bathroom countertop. Again, the countertop came out great - however, our custom faucet that they were given to size the hole to be cut was chipped. After the manager said there was nothing he could do, I Facebook messaged the owner, who called me immediately, apologized and is rectifying the situation for us. Awesome experience. We had originally started with Stone Systems. They wouldn't return our calls and emails, so we switched to Lowe's and they recommended Progressive. They have an actual person to answer the phone, set deadlines and kept them all. They are professional and attentive. I highly recommend them to anyone. We had Anel and Luis do the actual install.
