Our kitchen was gutted right when Covid hit and the lm Terry wanted to tell me that he didn't have anyone to install the kitchen! Finally got the two hoodlums to come and install my kitchen, they bad mouthed Terry and his staff. They tried to get me to hire them for other work that needed done in my house. They didn't finish the job properly, wrong items were given to us. And now a year and half later the cabinets are chipping and paint it bubbling and coming off! The many who provides the water heater out of state was very easy to deal with and provided full customer service and warranty information. This was a replacement warranty. The heater was installed by a service provider and it went great. But don't think you will be getting your money back (General Plumbing of Lakewood TAKES and holds your money hostage-- even with written proof from the manufacturer that the warranty unit is covered). There was no need to take my money upfront when the manufacturer confirmed unit was 100% covered which means they send General Plumbing a check And confirmed in writing. Instead, they make you pay upfront even with the full written approval. And then they are making me wait until they said they received the credit--and received And they got the credit days earlier and told me by phone they didn't get it. And they said it would take weeks for it to be processed. And then I called the manufacturer again and they said they sent the warranty credit five days earlier -- and would send it Again to General Plumbing this day. Then I called General again, a second time this day-- and they said they referred it upstairs for processing after I indicated that it was previously sent days ago and again this day. Still not resolved. #RUNAWAYMoney
