    This company makes me even more sick then it did last week! They kept almost $900 of my deposit and they tried showing me photos of damages from before we moved in! I'm not talking about stuff that we called out when we moved in but stuff that was done by tenants BEFORE us then Progress Residential fixed those items so we were none the wiser then we completed the Rent Checkly and our photos CLEARLY show no damages. I am literally in shock that they think they can use pre move in photos that were from BEFORE we even looked at it. This is the worst and most deceitful company ever!

    DO NOT RENT from these crooks. They will keep your security deposit even if you pay for a cleaning service (which they require) and leave the house crystal clean, minus 1 splatter mark UNDER the microwave. They will also leave the backyard overgrown, the bathrooms filthy, and then charge the resident upon move-out. They do not respond unless they are the ones trying to collect money. This company is a SCAM! Check out the pics of our perfectly cleaned house that they "had to spend $400 cleaning" after we already did.

    Trying to get Progress Residential's attention. We have told them that there is a leak since January 2024. They patched up an outside faucet that did not fix the problem. Our bathroom ceiling started leaking when the snow was melting. They came out 3x for 3 seperate complaints, when they finally decided to replace the roof. We have had standing water for a period of time in our basement. It has spread to three rooms. They came out and "fixed" the ac that was causing this. The AC wasn't hooked up properly and caused a body of water to accumulate under the AC unit which poured into 3 rooms. They refuse to do an air quality check because they claimed their team did all of the required measures to make sure it was in good liveable conditions. They did not dry out the floors, nor did they fix the leak at the time. The plumber they hired told me there is a significant amount of visible water damage throughout this whole house and an air qualify check is extremely important. Progress denied us from being allowed to get an air quality check. I told them I would pay for it. It is better to address this now before it gets worse. It will end up costing them more money in the future and I am willing to help in anyway that I can. Our ceiling started leaking in the basement in an unrelated incident. They came out and found the leak for this problem. There is still a hole in our ceiling. And the lines are not fixed (we can not use this water line, so we can not water our outdoor garden that we spent time and money on) Remember, they assured us the job was done correctly and now our ceiling is pouring water and we shouldn't be concerned of mold. When they did nothing to dry any of these other incidents. This is 5 seperate leaks. I'm pretty sure a simple air quality check wouldn't be too much to ask. Why is no one listening to me? Please kindly share this far and wide and maybe someone will take the health and safety of not only my life, but my children's lives seriously. Mold can and will cause debilitating, permanent damage to a persons quality of life and they seem to think this isn't a serious problem.

However, from 2021 to 2025 they went through four different managers. I would have one person, everything would seem to be going well and then abruptly they'd tell me someone else was being assigned. In 2025, I was again assigned a new manager, Andrea R. and communication significantly declined in comparison to other property managers I had been assigned. Emails would often go unanswered for long periods of time. Everything fell apart during a tenant move-out at the end of 2025. Before the tenant moved out, I provided the original lease and deposit records to Andrea so there would be no confusion. During the scheduled move-out, the assigned manager was unavailable, and the person who performed the move-out inspection took not one photo. I had to step in myself after tenant departure to take move-out condition photos because Fort Lowell staff didn't do it. The departing tenant was instructed to leave the keys unsecured in the mailbox after 5:30pm, which was very concerning because they didn't set up a lockbox for the tenant to securely leave the keys after the inspection. In addition to all of this, they issued a security deposit refund using rents from another unit to the tenant before fully reviewing damages. Keep in mind I held the deposits, but they did not consult me or provide me with the breakdown and obtain my authorization before refunding the money that I should have provided from the deposit account not use rents from another unit's tenant. To make matters completely insanely worse, the refund included money that had already been returned years earlier to a prior co-tenant! After I began formally requesting proper documentation and correction of the accounting, communication became worse. I sent a written notice under the contract giving them nearly a month to fix the issues. The problems were not fully corrected. After I terminated the agreement with proper 30-day notice, communication completely stopped, they did not follow up with me with requested documentation and stopped responding to my other unit's tenant they were still managing in this timeframe. I have still not received the complete documentation or the remaining funds in my owner account. I also later discovered that another tenant had gone six months without a properly executed lease renewal, and I was never informed. As a landlord, you need clear communication, accurate accounting, and proper handling of deposits. In my experience, those basic protections were not consistently in place. In addition, Fort Lowell's team is extremely unprofessional, completely ignoring clients, being condescending, and just displaying levels of incompetence I didn't know could exist. If you're a property owner, I would not recommend you use Fort Lowell. In fact, RUN!
