We use Marathon for all of our large format printing (by we, I mean my architecture firm - so we…read morehave quite a bit of work to send them) and they are just fantastic. Their online ordering form is simple to use and has everything in it that I need so that they can get the project done the way I need it. When submitting files, you select a deadline for when you need the drawings... That deadline is fairly pointless because they print things SO fast. It is a rare day when it takes more than an hour between the time I send my print and the time where they are dropping it off at my office (slight caveat, they are just down the street from us so that is a quick trip, but the fact that they have it printed so quickly is the key to the fast turnaround time). there are plenty of times where I've gotten a notification that my job is printed and ready for delivery (A handy feature, so i know if they are done or not) within 5-10 minutes of sending files. That is speed that is about impossible to beat. They hand deliver our drawings, they email the invoice... All of it is about as simple as it can get. When I've had any issues on my end and need pages swapped out or need them to not print what I sent because I need to update something, they are super accommodating. Basically, if you need large format printing done, such as construction drawings, this is a great place to go. They are exceptionally fast, helpful, accommodating, and friendly all the while.

I spoke with Kat at MEDiAHEAD on Friday, 7/2 to get a relatively small order for my wedding on…read more7/10. My fiance and I had been working with another company to this point on other orders but they were closed for the holiday weekend. Kat shared that if I got info to her on Friday, 7/2, I'd receive proofs that night. I didn't receive proofs until late afternoon of 7/6 and after our original company sent proofs after returning from the holiday. Kat & MEDiAHEAD's proofs were incorrect and late. I did not approve any proofs or agree to anything. Kat sends the email that's attached the night before our wedding. As this point, my only interactions with her is our conversation on 7/2. I went to their office to speak with a manager or someone not named Kat. Their staff seemed very aloof and not sure who else to talk to. I spoke with Mike and he joked that Kat can be a handful. He was not assuring or provided any support before telling Kat I was there. Mike was in no way helpful. I spoke with Kat and she was not authentic I her apology. She felt calling me a scumbag was warranted because I had ghosted her, held up her staff, and she had a bad day. She also shared that she apologized to the venue that referred us to her. If it wasnt for me coming to their office, the only apology that would have been issued was to the venue and not the actual person who was called a scumbag. She had put the effort in to reach out to the venue and she had the effort to craft an email to tell me I'm a scumbag but could find the effort to admit any fault. Very disappointing. Additionally, she accused me of having shared their artwork with our original printer. That is entirely untrue and not possible given I received proofs from MEDiAHEAD AFTER the other company. From being called a scumbag for not purchasing nameplates, being alleged to sharing proprietary artwork with a competitor, to having my interactions downplayed, my experiences with Kat and the team at MEDiAHEAD was awful and would not recommend.

I don't normally write reviews but this was an exceptional experience. I needed some extensive…read morebusiness documents printed, prepared and formatted very professionally plus several large prospectuses that had a lot of detail. But more importantly I was helping a Washington DC think tank group finalize several strategic plans and 2 business plans that were incredibly critical, urgent, rushed, last minute large projects with ridiculous deadlines but most importantly needed to be done in a remarkably professional manner. All of the strategic plans, business plans & prospectuses had a great deal of detail, graphs, charts. I had heard of the Covington group being a top end printing/graphics company along with being a publisher/printer of books and handling a lot of high quality promotional stuff for the NCAA and well known Authors so I decided to try them. I was blown away with their help, ideas, creativity and their sense of urgency helping me get these urgent projects completed. Their creative guy Randy, was remarkable and helped me avoid several bonehead decisions I was planning to make. The other guys, I think it was John, Maxwell & Deuce coordinated everything and communicated with me often twice a day over the course of 4 days. The end products were done a day earlier than I expected & were remarkably high quality & impeccably completed in amazing detail & format. Also, the pricing was more than fair for a last minute pressure cooker deadline set of projects. I don't impress easily, but this group is remarkable & I STRONGLY recommend the Covington Group for any of your urgent projects/ printing/books/creative needs large or small.. They are an excellent company as are their employees. They get an A+ or a 10 or 5 stars based on whatever metric you want to use.
