At first I thought maybe it was something simple since I'm not very tech savvy but after the guy came I realized there was some damage but the IT guy was super knowledgeable. They were amazing. They evaluated my current system, which is also integrated into an AV system, wrote up a proposal which I accepted. The system they installed is amazing. I have never had as good a WiFi system in terms of strength of signal, speed and reliability. As important, this Smart Start does what they say they will do without any surprises. They call when they say they will call, show up for appointments on time and really back up their services. In my case there has been nothing to do, since their system is working perfectly, but Smart Start Network has followed up a couple of times in the first 30 days after installation to make sure I was 100% satisfied. If you have a WiFi system you want installed, or have an existing system you would like upgraded I would highly recommend Smart Start Network. Lastly, Phil was the senior technician on my job and was phenomenal. Gina works in the office and is fantastic as well. This is my first Yelp review. I felt compelled to endorse this company because they are a breath of fresh air in NYC, where quality of product and service are often hard to find!

So, when I called and scheduled one, I usually expect the worse and hope for the best, but the moment Thomas showed up and knew exactly what to do and what I wanted done, I was pleasantly surprised. The job he did was amazing and my Son is so happy now that his gaming and TV and electronics that are all networked together are working perfectly. As an added bonus, Thomas worked on a networking issue on my computer and all within one hour, he created a great working system. The job was perfect and I delayed this review so I could see how the work fared over time and I'm happy to say that everything is still perfect after a couple of months. I would recommend Thomas to anyone who needs anything electrical done. I plan on having him back soon for more work and I even gave him a little extra payment over what he asked for, because I was so happy with the work. Thanks, Thomas!

Tamas determined that Optimum and Verizon technicians incorrectly installed patches that were short term fixes and left behind "the other guy's" cables and connectors that were not connected. In fact, the Verizon Extender was not transmitting a signal and was merely a fixture on the mantle below the tv. Not only did Tamas clean up the mess others left behind, but he patiently explained what he was doing every step of the process. I strongly reccomend Immersion Audio, Technoconsious and Tamas Gabor for all your electrical and communications needs.

Rob's Installations were great! Communicative, professional, & thorough across the entire process…read more Rob reached out w straight forward & clear pricing, accounting for all my variables as I detailed different needs for the project. I had requested a flat screen TV mount for a 70" TV with in-wall wire concealment. After some discussion, Rob advised that we should do relocation of the power outlet behind the TV mount to remain fire code friendly, so we had them complete that work as well, & it was done very well. Rob & team were effective & I ended up opting to have more work done in the house including terminating CAT6 ethernet drops throughout the home & Rob was able to test, tone, & punch down all the CAT6 drops without issue. They also did cable management of one of the CAT6 drops to my TV mount location with discreet wire covers adhered to the wall. All told, everything came out looking neat & clean, was zip-tied professionally & all the cable terminations appear to be properly done as well. Will DEFINITELY go back to Rob's Installations in the future for all my TV mounting and/or home networking needs. Strongly recommended

We needed to replace and upgrade a failing wired security system that we had installed in 1990. We felt completely comfortable from our first phone call to Alyssa and Rob who explained patiently, and in great detail, what would be involved and what choices we could make. Within 2 weeks we had a new upgraded wireless system, installed by two amazing young men: Nate and Jason, who in the space of 4 hours, finished the install, explained each step, and left the house spotless. Our concerns about possible damage in removing the old equipment and installing the attractive new system was unfounded: you would never know that any work had been done. After the install, Rob followed up with a detailed complete tutorial on how to use the system most effectively, and strongly encouraged us to stay in touch if any questions or problems arise in the future. We would highly recommend the team at Berman Home Systems.

Rob took us on a walkthrough of our house to assess the requirements for installing a new system. Later that evening, we received a quote which we accepted immediately. The installation team was professional, detail-oriented, and kept us informed throughout the installation process. Rob made multiple visits to ensure everything was going smoothly and even took the time on a Saturday morning to walk us through every aspect of the system. Overall, we are thrilled with the work done by Berman. The installation team paid attention to every little detail and Rob's personal involvement in the project was appreciated. We feel secure and safe in our home and would highly recommend Berman to anyone looking for a top-notch security system.
