They are truly talented, light hearted, accommodating, honest, and reliable. You can see the quality of their workmanship in the attached photo. Erick, Jose, and crew were super nice people to have at our home for two weeks. Thank you so much for the beautiful work. Best wishes! Joe, Laura and Arden

I've been a customer of Wilber's for several years. Up till now I've always found them to be…read morereasonable in price, professional, reliable and trustworthy. I don't know what's happened but, they are no longer the company they used to be. I recently hired Wilbers to repair a loose newel post at the bottom of my stairs. When Danny the estimator came he explained that it might be an easy fix or more involved if they needed to install a new 4X4 interior post. Though I requested that he provide estimates for both scenarios he only sent the estimate for the worst case scenario. I let that go because I trusted that they would do the right thing should it prove to be an easy fix. When they arrived it turned out that all that was needed was to replace the wooden board in the basement with a 2 ft. 2x4 and tighten the bolt that runs inside the post. The workers were here for 1 hour and for this Wilber's decided that a fair price was $820. It seemed absolutely outrageous to me that they would charge me $820 to tighten a bolt so I tried reaching out to Wilber 3 times and asked that he call me back to discuss. Well he never called me back. I can only assume that he knows full well that he did is wrong and is unable to justify his outrageous pricing. It's sad that Wilber thinks this is how you should treat a loyal customer and it's certainly disappointing to discover what an unprofessional and unethical person he is. I certainly will never utilize the services of Wilbers ever again and I would caution anyone thinking of hiring them to think twice. Wilber is a man that lacks integrity and therefore someone you cannot trust to do business with.

Most recently a basement overhaul to use the space as a social/entertaining area. As with earlier projects, we are totally pleased with all aspects of their work. They tiled the entire floor area, painted the walls and installed new lighting. They even installed a large wall TV. While I have no reason to doubt the negative reviews, that has never been our experience. I would not hesitate to contact them for projects in the future.

I went with Gikas to paint my house and complete some minor carpentry work based on their reviews,…read morereferences, proposal, and price, which was quite a bit lower than other bids I received. They were nice enough to deal with, but unfortunately, the quality of the work is not as expected. The painting work done by my previous contractor lasted 12 years, but Gikas's work has failed after less than 6 years. Paint is peeling and cracking, nail heads are rusting through, and caulk was used in places where it should not be applied, such as where shingles meet the roofing material. This does nothing but trap water and lead to premature rotting of the shingles. They used a mixed bag of wood to replace trim...some was green pressure treated, while the other wood was pine with very large knots that have bled through the paint due to not being properly sealed. There were other issues that are too numerous to mention in this type of review, so suffice to say, I will be using my prior contractor to paint the house this time, regardless of price differential.
