In fact, after telling me that there was a two-month waiting list, once I approved the estimate, they showed up to begin the job just two days later. Not sure how that happened, but I'm not complaining. Steven, the job foreman, was very professional and highly skilled, notwithstanding his youth. Why do people I meet keep getting younger? He is a perfectionist, a virtue which you rarely encounter with home contractors. He even helped guide me with the color selection. I threw him a few curve balls during the job, and he did everything I asked him to do with a smile. He and his crew were on time every day, and were all polite, neat, and hard-working. They are acrobats on high ladders, and barely dripped a drop of paint where it didn't belong. The finished job looks great, and exceeded my expectations. It is also worth mentioning that Wilber's guarantees the durability of the paint job for three years. All the others who bid offered a two year guarantee. I can't speak to their other services, but I would hire Wilber's again for a major painting project, and recommend them.

We have a house alarm, and when the police showed up, they thought it was due to the painters accidentally setting off the alarm. Well, one of their workers crawled through a bedroom window and trampled on what was there, and broke something that was not replaceable (a sentimental basket from a deceased family member). I have pictures that I can locate to prove this. They denied it; and apparently the "worker" in question, was no longer working that next day. DO NOT USE THEM IF THEY ARE STILL PAINTING!!!

Elite does excellent work and is fairly priced. Tony, the owner, shows up to discuss your job and provides an estimate. In all four jobs, the price I paid was the estimate. Note, I didn't rely on Elite to choose colors, I spent hours doing that on my own. You have a project manager, texts to remind you of appointments and follow-ups to check with your satisfaction while they are painting. And the jobs are simply excellent. Friends complain about seeing brush strokes, windows that are painted shut, paint drips on the floor. I never had to worry about this. The work is exemplary. I can recommend them without hesitation.

Most recently a basement overhaul to use the space as a social/entertaining area. As with earlier projects, we are totally pleased with all aspects of their work. They tiled the entire floor area, painted the walls and installed new lighting. They even installed a large wall TV. While I have no reason to doubt the negative reviews, that has never been our experience. I would not hesitate to contact them for projects in the future.

I couldn't be more pleased with the quality of service and their attention to detail. Bob Rose met with me to go over the project and make sure we were all on the same page. There were no surprises. Well, maybe just one - it turns out one of the paint colors I picked out was hideous after it was applied. I've never been good with color charts; this was completely my fault. Bob and the job foreman readily let me pick another color, drove to Morristown and picked up the paint and corrected my error without skipping a beat. All work was done in the time frame and price that was promised. The painters did outstanding work. They're skilled, professional, and extremely hard workers.
