We used to love this place when we would see the NPC Rhoda. But when she left, we had the WORST experience. Not to mention, they tried to get my kid in a clinical trial without really discussing any other options with me. The doctor was shoving that trial down my throat so we left the practice. I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Aziz and this practice. After my move from another state I spent several years off and on seeking help. I even tried online help without success. I finally came across this place after someone recommended it on another site. I feel like this is an answer to prayers. My 16 year old daughter was seen at the West Chester location. She received Psychiatric Services for the second time from Dr Aziz. I was highly disappointed in the experience with Dr Aziz. This was the first time meeting him and he was rude, disrespectful and he made the experience completely uncomfortable with his HORRIBLE bedside manner. DR AZIZ didn't care to take the time to get to know my daughter, and we were in and out in less than five minutes. I told him that my daughter still had symptoms of depression after her med change and he accused me of criticizing her! I told him she still lays in bed from 2:30 u til 10 then she goes to bed and he said that sounded great to him!!!i will not be returning! I highly recommend not seeing this psychiatrist! read more

Not good! Dr. Aziz knew what I needed for my job with FMLA and he took care of that. After the one practitioner I was seeing quit, I was handed over to another practitioner. When my FMLA needed to be renewed, she (Ginger) changed it completely without reason or even telling me! She was just supposed to resubmit the forms without change. Now, because of this I am on the verge of losing my job of 17 years! I am beyond mad and am unsure of what I am going to do. Ginger does not understand how volatile my situation has become! I think the doctors here WANT to help but often fall into the trap of stereotyping. Both of the doctors i saw here had a tendency to tell me how i feel. I also felt it was pretty sexist when dr. Aziz told me "all girls my age have mood swings." I'm 26, not 13. Overall i don't think i made much progress here. read more

Dr. Aziz might not be everyone's cup of tea, but he is honest and the most qualified, intelligent, and experienced doctor I have met - when it comes to psychiatrists. He's the only doctor I have found who has given my child an accurate diagnosis and accurate treatment. That is huge in the realm of mental health disorders, particularly because many of these diagnosis are deceiving and bring a battleground of not being believed by peers, doctors, school staff, etc. He is not a money-hungry scammer. He does have a peculiar style, but he is ambitious and has used his money to create mental health resources that you otherwise can not find here like addiction treatment and adolescent care. My experience proves that he cares deeply for his patients and anyone suffering from mental illness. Is he perfect? No. None of us are. But if you want proper treatment, have an open mind and give him a try. read more

I wish I could give no stars to this company, Professional Physcatric Services is a money hungry organization that does not care about its patients at all. I was overcharged, ending up with a credit that was hundreds of dollars and not the full amount owed either, but I had to pick my battles. Now, they are attempting to overcharge again, and I am not the only one they are doing this to. They also will not complete any FMLA paperwork with complete disregard for federal regulations and law. If you go here, get out. If you are thinking about coming here. Dont. I am sad to say goodbye to my doctors as I have seen them for years and we have a great relationship, but this facility and company is straight trash. I can also see the "funny" reactions on other past or current patients' negative reviews of this establishment, which leads me to believe it is someone internally reacting to these reviews. There is nothing funny about overcharging patients, committing fraud, breaking federal law, denying service to patients that results in relaps, or rude, disrespectful staff. Nothing about this company is professional besides the therapist and physicians who actually care about the people they see and want to help live a happy and healthy life. I had my suboxen stolen once and I was terrified of withdrawals obviously tried to get a refill not happening went to the er and was given suboxen 2x by two different docs one very pleasant one cut me off and told me not to come back to see my doc I couldn't get an appt for a refill I was told to wait for my appt in 2 weeks so I relapsed on h bc that's what I could find when I had my appt he cut me from 8-4 mg and I had given him fake piss bc Ik if I gave him real pee I would be cut off. Overtime it got lowered to half of 2 and at that time I frequently had withdrawal symptoms and he still would not change it until I have him a clean test from weed I have a medical card but he did not care. They charge for every piece of paper basically even with insurance if you are on probation and especially through warren county as I'm speaking from personal experiences and 100,s of dollars more when you need it sent quickly. Even if you pay them they were never great at working with probation they almost always didn't give exactly what was needed and that hasn't happened with brightview and it was all covered by insurance free of charge at bright view I've gone back up to 8mg and it has impacted my mental health so positively that this review lost a star in the process as for how dr query scammed me I paid him 250 or 300 dollars to write a letter to the court supporting my right to use my medical marijuana card he wrote a letter supporting my right to use cbd and stated in this letter I was a "marijuana addict" he refused to let me read my 300$ letter and only affirmed me it was a positive letter i knew he liked cbd and asked me if I would be willing to just use it I told him it would not be possible to rid my system of thc bc even if I went with the low strains they all have some thc I stated this fact to him several times and he still agreed to write a letter supporting my medical marijuana card I honestly believe what he did was illegal in thst cbd and marijuana are not even remotely the same things it was also stated in the letter should have 0 thc in system. I understand my statement you can't get just cbd products is not true but acting like he believed it was and agreeing to write that bs 300 letter is criminal to the point if I ever have enough money I'd consider suing as this has also caused me sever emotional distress with the backlash with the courts extending my probation for longer than need be as the judges decision was riding on that letter. And if your an addict and think you deserve poor treatment you don't. Don't listen to the courts or Pps or your parents even do your own research on how much better addiction can be handled. That being said minus doctor query I have the upmost respect for these doctors and have had 2 good and 1 or 2 decent therapists their I had to switch a lot bc court and other dumb shit but was very happy with my last therapist their I sadly can't remember his name but anyway that's all take your mental health seriously and only accept the best for yourself bright view accepts Medicaid and most forms of insurance does not have a zero tolerance policy and is located in mason not far from Pps so if your in the area I'd look it up. read more

This was a very odd experience. I made the appointment and on the day of, headed to what I thought was their office in Mason. Empty. Called. Was told they moved down the road. Went there. First impression: this is an old roadside motel. Outside painted in chartreuse green and salmon. Unable to find which door to go in. Call again. Told door #3. Go in, get beckoned to the window on the right. Then told since I'm new, need to go to the opposite window. Give the receptionist my ID and ins. card. Then she asks for payment, before services are rendered. I get out my checkbook. Told they do not accept checks. Get my ID and ins. card back and leave. Not a good first impression. read more

I like my doctor, and the front desk staff have always been polite and as helpful as they can be. However, I would not recommend PPS based on a recent experience with them. I ran out of my medication Tuesday, and I made every possible effort to get PPS to refill it. I must have called six times over the course of the week. When I first called, the front desk staff said that it depends on my doctor, but they will probably be able to refill my medication as long as it's not a controlled substance. It's not a controlled substance. Long story short, I played phone tag with them for four days and I'm no closer to getting my prescription refilled. The person responsible for helping to refill my medication left me a voicemail requesting more info on Wednesday (which I provided via voicemail maybe a hour later) and then promptly dropped off the face of the earth. I did not hear from her after that despite making multiple attempts to contact her. (The information she requested was also information they should have on file already.) So I guess I'm just going to be off my antidepressants for now. I am trying to be better about getting my appointments scheduled on time. I acknowledge this is my fault as well. But as a psychiatric group, please consider making patient care a higher priority. Situations like this are going to come up and you should have the staff and systems in place that allow you to be responsive (ex. secure email or a web portal). read more

I was treated for something i ended up not even having, destroying my body was useless drugs. My copay has not once been as much as they charge for cancelation or late fees, and all honesty. Dr. Aziz made a statement that I didn't fit the career had been in for the past several years because of how I was acting while I was at my sickest. Hmm. I wonder why. He also refused to fill out my disability paperwork because he didn't have his glasses (wouldn't wait till he found them either) and I had to have a second doctor evaluate me in order to come to the same conclusion. He also made fun of the fact that I was taking notes during the appointment when a symptom of major depression is memory loss and so I wasn't able to remember what was told to me otherwise. Absolutely amazing office! The staff is so personable.. We feel so welcome every time we walk through the doors there. As parents of two little ones, we often bring our 7 month old and 5 year old.. the girls at the front desk know them by name and literally come out into the waiting room and PLAY with our children! i didn't mention another p doc who actually yelled at me and berated me and then hung me out to dry by refusing to refill my scripts or offer me any other options after i told her about a suicide attempt. so she failed at her job basically then blamed me and took away any chance of meds helping me. she also failed to provide me with one piece of paper that i needed from her in order to be able to receive reimbursement for the tuition for the semester of school i had to drop during that time. so. things to consider read more

horrible pharmacy!!! i'd give them a 0 star if i could! they continue to miscount my controlled prescriptions x3 now and i always have to double count my rxs every month! they dont know how to count obviously!! you have to buy all prescriptions or they will not provide you service and deny you! they made me buy 2 months worth of all 5 rxs! i bought 3 of my rxs from kroger, as usual, bc they are cheaper on a few of my medications.so then i went to pick up my other 2 rx at central pharmacy, with their rude pharmacist and made up rules they have! they made me buy my prescriptions again, that same day, now having 2 months supply at a time. i guess its now legal to fill the same prescriptions twice in one day, when there are no refills on the rxs.they knew i just picked up my rx bc they were out of stock and i had them transfer it! still, they made me buy it again when i returned back the same day!! they say you have to buy all of your prescriptions there no matter what, or you cant purchase any of them at all, under no circumstances!! pain in the ass pharmacy and rude!! time to transfer all medications! they dont care if you cant afford to pay for all of the medications you need at that moment, especially with covid and the financial strains you may have! they dont care, and will have to buy all or go home with none! read more

This place is completely unusual. You walk in through a mudroom that resembles the front of a Ruby Tuesday, into a waiting room full of patio furniture. The music playing sounds like something from the soundtrack to Ratatouille. Getting past the strange ambience of the place- you encounter the front end. I had to reschedule an appointment because I ended up having an exam that day, in which they weren't able to reschedule me until three weeks later. Long story short; they never answered my voicemails asking if I could reschedule sooner or if I could have enough medicine to last me until the day of the apaointment. I went 5 days without my medicine. I called the front end and they said I was "in line" with a dozen other patients for the medicine woman to get ahold of me. She never called me back. I finally get there and the receptionist tells me my copay is 125$ instead of 25$. 20 minutes and a tiring phone call with the insurance company later, they finally believed me. Have you ever went 5 days cold turkey without Prozac? It's not nice. II have never had to put this much effort in getting simple healthcare, but here, everything is a hassle. Don't come here. Everyone at PPS is amazing. They can get me in quickly and my wait time is very short. The staff is wonderful and very friendly. My only complaint is there 60 dollar cancellation policy. I was sick with the flu and couldn't make it to my appointment and yet they still charged me the 60 dollars, I called and told them I had the flu and said that they still were going to charge me. I tried calling the day before to change my appointment from Friday to Monday and since my appointment was at 9:30, and I called at 3, they told me I would be charged the 60 dollars. I understand they need to charge the cancellations, but 60 dollars is quite ridiculous. Especially if you're sick with the flu. read more

I made appointments with a particular doctor, who I researched. TWICE I was instead sent to a new Dr, about whom I knew nothing. She did not listen to my concerns at all. Now, at this second appointment, they again sent me to her, putting me in the very awkward and embarrassing position of having to tell her I did not want to see her. This is all very embarrassing. Office staff are disorganized. I would highly recommend you seek treatment just about anywhere else. Update: I never did get to see the doctor. They sent a suicidal man away unseen. I forgot my purse. Been a patient here for a good 2 years. They said I couldn't see the doctor without paying the copay, and that they would have to charge me a cancellation fee. I said I am not cancelling, I am standing in front of you right now and I want to see the doctor. I also explained that I really needed to see him because I had to stop a medicine suddenly due to the side effects of vision problems, and now I am having other side effects. Furthermore, I've never NOT paid my copay. They said, sorry - this is standard health insurance protocol. I called my insurance company and they said they have no stipulation in place, that that's not true. This particular instance was the final straw. read more

You will not encounter a worse, more non-responsive staff than here at PPS Mason. A shame because I like my doctor there. Not surprisingly, she is leaving the practice. My latest issue is having a problem with a script she wrote me over 4 weeks ago. I have called the office (they have a line specifically dedicated to prescription issues and questions) several times over the past 4 weeks, and so has my pharmacy. Never a return phone call. No response. Even the doctor told me they don't communicate with her. Scary, when you consider there are patients who are potentially suicidal at worst, or dependent on their daily meds to function at best. GO ANYWHERE BUT PPS. I walked away from a wonderful doctor because of the staff there. read more

If you need psychiatric help, go somewhere else. The receptionist are rude and unprepared to halo you. Plan on waiting a half an hour minimum for seeing a doctor, especially Anthony Whitaker. Always running late so most 45 minute appointments, which aren't cheap, only end up being 10 roughly. Not worth it. read more
