We used Hilltop for our first child birth, unfortunately we wish we had of gone with another…read morecompany. We lost confidence in Hilltop's care and we had to refuse their excessive services they were trying to push on to us. They admitted my wife into hospital when there was no need, resulting in an additional $2500 to the cost of the birth. Based on our experience with this company I highly recommend you do not use them and find another OBGYN like we have! Major issue: We started out going to their West Chester office, as it was close to home. However, after just two visits they didn't have the resources at that location, so we had to use their Middletown location, which was a further 45mins round trip. For the first 7 months everything was fine and the Dr gave us an A+ health rating for wife and baby. However, after returning from holiday in Florida we went in for an ultrasound, Dr Reina advised my wife's AFI was below normal and she needed immediate treatment or the baby may not survive. We explained we just returned from Florida and my wife had been doing much more walking than usual in the hot Florida weather, so this may be why she's lower than normal & she may just need time to hydrate. Dr Reina advised that change in exercise & environmental conditions would not cause the lower AFI. My wife was admitted into hospital overnight as a result of Dr Reina's assessment. After the overnight treatment my wife's AFI changed by .1. Dr Reina advised we needed to come back twice a week for a stress test, and if everything was normal, then only once a week thereafter. However, after the first two stress tests everything was fine. However, Dr Reina still insisted we come back twice a week for stress tests (that's 2hrs of driving and 2hrs waiting per week). After another week of coming back twice and the stress tests results were normal, we started to suspect the treatment was more a cash grab than for our benefit. We started refusing anymore treatment and sought a second opinion. Another OBGYN reviewed our medical records from Hilltop and concluded my wife did not have a low AFI and was in the normal range and did not require hospital treatment. Begrudgingly, we used Hilltop for the delivery, as we didn't want to switch at the last minute to another OBGYN. Dr Andrew was good in the delivery. However, the nurses were extremely rude and unprofessional and were berating my wife. After we left the hospital we did not return to Hilltop and we never will! After the birth and armed with the second opinion results we contacted the manager of Hilltop - Michelle, she was not interested in any concerns we had raised and would not return calls or provide any discount. Other issues: The front desk staff were constantly rude and uninformative, they would make unnecessary comments if you're 5mins late. However, we had to frequently wait up to 45mins to 1hr over the scheduled time. Bills were coming in for lab work for $$$$ and Hilltop would say don't worry about it. They failed to provide estimate for services they performed. Zero transparency on billings or costs for additional services. No consideration of insurance calendar and how to provide care while reducing the cost to the customer. They admitted my wife into hospital 3 days before the end of the year, there was no consideration to wait 3 days to admit her into the next year where there would have been no additional cost. They have zero concern for customer's satisfaction.

Hilltop has been wonderful to me. I delivered a set of twins in 2011, and another baby in 2016…read more Throughout both pregnancies the care team was with me every step to keep me informed, support me through rough patches, and encourage me. I've maintained my patient status for all GYN needs and surprisingly don't dread my trips to the office. The staff is courteous and understanding, schedulers are flexible and accommodating, and the physicians care about their patients as people. I highly recommend them!

I've been seen at both the Mason and Montgomery locations and have had great experience with the intake staff, from the front desk workers to the MA/RNs. BUT I've had the worst experience with their nurse Theresa, specifically at the Mason. I called the office when I was experiencing ovarian torsion (obviously unknown at the time of the phone call, all I knew was I was in severe pain and had been turned away at two ERs in the days prior) for further insight on whether I should be seen in office or in the ER and she was rude and dismissive. As someone that has worked in the medical field for majority of my career, I'll never be able to comprehend why you go into the field if you can't practice simple compassion, especially in a field as sensitive as women's health, but what do I know?

She pulls me into her office to discuss a billing issue & said i would be better off going to another practice... OVER A BILLING ISSUE. Mind you, i am experiencing severe cramping & bleeding. She did say i could proceed with today's appointment but i would be expected to pay out of pocket. I decide to proceed with my appointment and go out to the waiting room. My appointment was at 9:30 AM , i got there at 9:15. Everybody was taken back before me even those who came in AFTER me .... 10:15 rolls around & i an still waiting. The office then decides to attempt calling me at 10:30 & i declined their call. I went through an entire pregnancy with Mt Auburn prior to this appointment, NEVER have i waited more than 30 mins. If you want to be treated horribly. Go here. Since Dr Boyd left, they have been horrible. She is now at UC , so if you are interested in GOOD care maybe try going there. I would NEVER in my life recommend this practice to anybody. One of the hardest times of my life & the staff here is just straight up unethical. Goes to the show you how money hungry out healthcare industry really is.
