I know some prefer to see the same person so they can build rapport with them, but it has been good too see different doctors and figure out whose style is best for us before we settle on one. We have mostly been there for check ups, but also once had to call the nurse hotline and come in for an emergency. They got us in two hours after I called. I was impressed with that since they are such a busy office. I find their system of texting from the parking lot instead of waiting in a waiting room to be a little frustrating, but I totally understand since the waiting room is tiny and it keeps everyone safer. My frustration comes from the fact that the systems are usually broken and I end up waiting in my car for much longer than needed and have almost been marked "late" when I was not. We will definitely keep using this practice as our primary care for our son.

She has given me excellent guidance and she is very flexible. If no one is after me, she will not cut me off because my hour is up. Her office is in a historic 1815 building in beautiful, quaint, downtown Milford. Free parking is on both sides of the street in front of the building and a lot in the back. Many nice restaurants and shopping all around. When you enter, there is a reception room that reminds me of a living room with soft music playing and comfy chairs. There are magazines on the table and a fireplace with candles against the wall. When she is ready she comes down to get you and you walk up a flight of stairs to a large room where I guess she holds group counseling sessions, and then she takes you into her office. Natural lighting and earthy artwork makes the room very comfortable. I love her approach, she makes it individualized based on your needs. She specializes in everything from depression and anxiety to same sex couples, grief, personal growth, abuse, trauma, family issues, spirituality and even play therapy for kids. She will work with you on payment options too. She does not take credit cards so she let me go without paying for a month, even though I saw her every week, just so I could wait for my insurance to send me a check from my HSA account since I had a deductible to meet. She takes almost all insurance though. I have recommended her to many people and every one is very pleased.
