Injury can be a miserable experience, affecting almost every aspect of your life - physical,…read moremental, emotional... Imagine then a place that addresses not just your PT needs, but does so in a positive, motivational environment that aims to get you back on your feet as soon as possible; this is the experience I had at Boston Physical Therapy. Zach Gabor and the rest of the crew (Director Mike, Stephanie, Super Mike, and the rest of the staff) have been nothing short of superlative during the 6 months it took for me to fully recover from a crippling knee injury. Throughout the time I recovered, I came to look forward to each of my PT sessions. The team works collaboratively and openly - they all watch you, make suggestions, helping with your recovery. It's less of a 1:1 experience and feels more like an entire team is working on your behalf. It's an incredible feeling to be honest. The work sessions are productive and injury-specific, the methods are all the latest and are born of both experience and research (I noticed they spend a lot of time researching and talking with other professionals in the field, always fine-tuning their approach), and importantly, it worked wonders on my knee and ability to avoid injury in the future. One other neat thing is to see their work with kids -kids, pre-teens, high school kids and competitive college athletes all recover side by side, the Boston PT team treating the kids and the athletes each with the same level of care and professionalism. Not all PT places are created equal; I did not have a great experience at another nearby (large name brand) PT shop a few years ago, so I came into the BPT experience wary of what to expect. Inside of a few sessions, I knew I was in the right place. If you're reading this, wondering where to go - this is a great team, and I have an exceptional experience recovering. While I hope never to be a patient again, I know if I do need help, this is where I'll turn to immediately. Thanks guys!

Dennis is super motivating, accepting, creates a sense of community, is extremely knowledgeable, and takes time to make sure I understand everything. The time flies as he chats while I do the exercises and before I know it the time is over. Dennis makes it enjoyable and fun and tailors everything to what he sees and what you share with him. His background is also ortho in hospital settings which is helpful. He tailors his style for each person and is just great to learn from. Mary at the front desk is wonderful- so welcoming and helpful! Everyone I've interacted with has been just great. I've been to another PT practice (begins with the letter B in the same town) and hands down this is the best.

The laser helped with tendonitis and the touch of plantar fasciitis that affected me. I still use the simple devices that the practice keeps on hand to sell to patients: a roller for muscles, Thera-bands, and a wedge to stretch achilles. I was taught that stretching is the most important thing to do on a regular, if not daily, basis to avoid injuries. Last, but definitely not the least, Chris made me orthotics that actually work for me. My long relationship with orthotics has been rocky, at best. I have been wearing the one's Chris made since June of 2016 and they are the most successful I have had in a long time. High scores for Chris and Matt who assisted me with much of my therapy. I had seen five different doctors or podiatrists, and all of them had no option except drugs to manage the pain. Dr. Bill and his staff offer a comprehensive approach to rebuilding the blood flow to the affected areas ( Hands or feet) and repairing the damaged nerves without drugs. The treatment plan requires a personal commitment and is not for everyone. A certain amount of at-home daily application of heat and electrical therapy, plus a modified diet including supplements designed to rebuild the nitric oxide oxygen levels in the blood is also part of the plan. They offer daily recipes and weekly in-office treatments. So why the review? In just four months, I have seen less pain, not every day, but noticeably better. Cherry Street offers a free evaluation, and at mine, I was rated about 71% damage. After 4 months, the same evaluation shows about 25%.
