Most of my experience over the years is with Al Visnick but I've also seen Judy & Todd who are fantastic too. Most recently they weren't under my insurance but I went there out of pocket anyway because I don't trust anyone but Al Visnick to work on my spine. I have chronic issues with my spine and neck, exacerbated by my profession. Among his many talents, Al is an expert on the spine. Not only did he completely adjust my thoracic spine and neck to be better than ever, but he trained me to change my working environment and setup as well as my postural habits to the point where my chronic pain has essentially disappeared so long as I follow his advice. And because of the great work he did on my neck and spine, along with the simple at-home exercises he taught me to maintain it, I am able to very quickly get back to being pain free if I ever slip back into old habits. He's taught me to manage this essential part of my life so that I can work longer and more productively without any pain. I am forever grateful to him for this as I'd not be able to do my job without it. In addition to Al being a miracle worker, there's Todd, who is meticulous and amazing. My husband went to him for his chronic back issues. He used to regularly throw his back out and suffer a lot each time, but not only did Todd fix it every time, he taught my husband how to avoid re-injuring himself, as well as how to do maintenance and recovery exercises and stretched at home to the point that my husband hasn't had to go in for many years now. I've also gone to Judy a few times and find her extremely helpful not just for the physical therapy but also for her attentiveness, the questions she asks, and the incredible advice she gives. She had a gift for honing in on things you should be doing differently to reduce chronic pain, so even one session with her is really helpful.

Went to Orthowell for PT after a right foot injury. The types of therapy Chris used really helped…read moreto loosen the muscles in my calf that were affecting my foot and the tendons. The laser helped with tendonitis and the touch of plantar fasciitis that affected me. I still use the simple devices that the practice keeps on hand to sell to patients: a roller for muscles, Thera-bands, and a wedge to stretch achilles. I was taught that stretching is the most important thing to do on a regular, if not daily, basis to avoid injuries. Last, but definitely not the least, Chris made me orthotics that actually work for me. My long relationship with orthotics has been rocky, at best. I have been wearing the one's Chris made since June of 2016 and they are the most successful I have had in a long time. High scores for Chris and Matt who assisted me with much of my therapy. My PT Nate, as well as the other PTs in the group Charlie and Katie, is very upbeat and encouraging. Together they create a fun vibe that makes going to PT a very positive experience. The space is bright and clean and has lots of equipment readily available for use. In addition to the in person sessions, they give printouts and links to videos of exercises to work on at home. I'm still working through the issue that brought me to PT but do trust Nate's expertise and can definitely say that my body is stronger for the work he has me putting in. I was a soccer referee for 24 years and he kept me going to pursue my passion. Now at 72 years old I developed bad headaches. After seeing my primary care physician and he referring me to many other specialists a neurologist diagnosed my problem as coming from muscular tension in my shoulder and my neck and sent me for physical therapy. The physical therapy helped a little bit and I have been doing the assigned stretches and exercises religiously but the problem did not go away totally. I ran into Dr. Mark Friedman at a health fair at Swampscott High School. He was demonstrating a procedure called MLS laser therapy for pain and to reduce inflammation . I told him about my sore knees and my headaches and made an appointment. After about 3 weeks of his help through neck and shoulder adjustments my shoulder neck and headaches are just about gone, the best I have felt in months. Then I decided to try the MLS laser for my knees. It is a series of 12 treatments from a laser machine , no pain, nothing invasive and I must say after 4 treatments so far I can tell the difference in my 72 year old knees, quite an improvement and I am optimistic that once the treatments are done this pain will be gone. I am so thrilled that my wife and I just happened into the health fair at the high school and I ran into Dr. Friedman. I had seen five different doctors or podiatrists, and all of them had no option except drugs to manage the pain. Dr. Bill and his staff offer a comprehensive approach to rebuilding the blood flow to the affected areas ( Hands or feet) and repairing the damaged nerves without drugs. The treatment plan requires a personal commitment and is not for everyone. A certain amount of at-home daily application of heat and electrical therapy, plus a modified diet including supplements designed to rebuild the nitric oxide oxygen levels in the blood is also part of the plan. I was very pleased with my experience at their facility. Bonnie is a great ambassador and the initial client contact person for Complete Game PT. Her friendly and informative manner made me feel comfortable from day #1. She was always pleasant, responsive and helpful. Andy was my primary therapist, but I have also had the pleasure to work with Greg as well. I found them both to be extremely knowledgeable about the body, my injury and what exercises and processes were needed to get me back in action. The professional, calm and patient demeanor they both present was both comforting and reassuring to me as a patient. After 5 weeks, I had gained most of my range of motion back and the pain had been reduced by about 80-85%. Andy developed a regiment of specific exercises and stretches for me to continue with after my last visit to continue my progress. The rest is up to me.
