One previous reviewer did mention a few things about the practice that I can confirm: appointments are made verbally; there are no follow up emails, and the billing is done by a billing company. If you're OK with this go with it - he's flexible and accommodating and open late for those of us who have inflexible work schedules. In my experience Brendon has always called me back, and he listened to me, and checked on me to see if I was doing OK. I also appreciate that he is a small local business and I am in my own private treatment room with personal attention (I have had PT in the past where one practitioner is seeing multiple people in the same room at the same time). Thumbs up.

His knowledge, empathy, kindness, and compassion made such a difference in my experience. He never made me feel rushed and always took the time to listen to my concerns and explain my knee issues in a way I could understand. He didn't just tell me what exercises to do -- he explained why I was doing them and how they would help. That meant so much to me. I was also in the process of moving while going through therapy, and Matt went above and beyond to make sure I was prepared to continue my exercises on my own. He set up a personalized exercise program for me and made sure I could access everything through the app. He truly cared about making sure I would be successful even after I left. Every visit with Matt was a positive experience. He was always kind, patient, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping me feel better. I feel very fortunate that I had the opportunity to work with him. I also want to give a special thank you to the front office staff. They were always pleasant, helpful, and accommodating when scheduling appointments. When I asked to be called if there were any cancellations, they followed through and would call whenever something became available. They never disappointed me. I highly recommend 855 Main Street Tewksbury Ma Baystate Physical Therapy ,and especially Matt Rossman. I am incredibly thankful for the care, knowledge, and compassion I received. Matt is truly an asset to the practice, and I couldn't have asked for a better therapist. Sincerely Kathy Gillingham

I felt unwelcome. Trying out the treatment was very expensive for me because I have a high deductible plan, and I paid what I think is a lot of money for each session. I stopped going and am trying other treatments at home. The whole experience was so far from what I expected to have for something in the medical category. Felt more like the professional grade of cosmetology, as in a nail or hair salon. Wouldn't recommend. I got no relief from any treatment, not that my PT asked me how I felt about my experience or since my last visit.

They're all very nice but "nice" only gets you so far. When I go to a chiropractor, I'm going for 2 reasons; 1. Relief; and 2. To get a LOT of questions answered; That's just how I am. When I go to any doctor, I want to know... 1. If the doctor can comprehend precisely what I'm going through; 2. How it got that way based on the info I gave him/her; and 3. What can be done about it; and 4. If it's truly rehab'-able, or if it's a forever maintenance kind of thing. I want someone who not only can answer my questions with an air of expertise, but who also WANTS to answer my questions and WANTS me to REALLY understand what s/he understands the path of healing/restoration that is available to me. Dr. Michael Pendolino is GUILTY of all of the above. First, his reception Lisa is, how do I put this?, kind of like a big sister/young mother. She's very sharp, great with details and sorta thinks to remind you of everything you need to know in case you forget it. Which is good because I can lose my socks on my way from the bedroom to the kitchen. Dr Pendolino has a very sharp, engaging mind. You can tell, without a doubt, that he's extremely knowledgeable and exceptionally passionate about his work. To-date, I have only done spinal decompression here. If you don't know what it is, Google it, but it's a fairly recent, proven therapy that helps restore healthy disk function. So, if you have collapsed and/or bulging disks, or pinched nerves, etc, a few pulls on this Star-Trek looking thing and you start to notice some "interesting" relief. My head just wasn't ready to believe I felt better so quickly from a collapsed disk I'd had in my lower cervical. Spinal decompression is not covered by insurance and it can be a bit pricey but they have a financing company available and, even with a couple of credit blips, I was able to get credit instantly. Believe me, if your back/neck is hurting because of disk problems, this is totally worth it! I can't yet speak for his regular chiro mojo but, if you are suffering from back/neck problems, I strongly suggest you contact Dr. Pendolino and set up an appointment for a consultation with him. He'll answer all your questions to your complete satisfaction. There is also a phyiscal therapist and acupuncturist in the office, and a massage therapist coming soon.

Most of my experience over the years is with Al Visnick but I've also seen Judy & Todd who are fantastic too. Most recently they weren't under my insurance but I went there out of pocket anyway because I don't trust anyone but Al Visnick to work on my spine. I have chronic issues with my spine and neck, exacerbated by my profession. Among his many talents, Al is an expert on the spine. Not only did he completely adjust my thoracic spine and neck to be better than ever, but he trained me to change my working environment and setup as well as my postural habits to the point where my chronic pain has essentially disappeared so long as I follow his advice. And because of the great work he did on my neck and spine, along with the simple at-home exercises he taught me to maintain it, I am able to very quickly get back to being pain free if I ever slip back into old habits. He's taught me to manage this essential part of my life so that I can work longer and more productively without any pain. I am forever grateful to him for this as I'd not be able to do my job without it. In addition to Al being a miracle worker, there's Todd, who is meticulous and amazing. My husband went to him for his chronic back issues. He used to regularly throw his back out and suffer a lot each time, but not only did Todd fix it every time, he taught my husband how to avoid re-injuring himself, as well as how to do maintenance and recovery exercises and stretched at home to the point that my husband hasn't had to go in for many years now. I've also gone to Judy a few times and find her extremely helpful not just for the physical therapy but also for her attentiveness, the questions she asks, and the incredible advice she gives. She had a gift for honing in on things you should be doing differently to reduce chronic pain, so even one session with her is really helpful.
