I have been suffering from a chronic pinched nerve and lower back pain for years now and meeting with knowledgeable staff who helped me identify problem areas really helped me stop putting off the necessary care I needed. DJ from Soul Physical Therapy was knowledgeable and friendly and gave me their information. Fast forward to today - I've gone a couple times and am seeing improvement. They've walked me through exercises to help strengthen and alleviate pain in these problem areas and have been great throughout the process! I opted not to have surgery, which I understood was not always successful and spent 4 months in PT with Joe. Kayce helped me understand everything I had wrong and even advocated for me to get a more functional knee brace since I was going to be in it for the long run. Fast forward a month and COVID-19 hit, preventing me from participating in onsite pre-hab. Kayce ended up coming to my house regularly and treating my knee in my garage where we could leave the garage doors open for proper airflow while both armed with PPE. This allowed me to receive imperative treatment in a time I otherwise couldn't have. Post surgery, Kayce came to my rescue yet again. My bandages were wrapped so tight that I lost all the feeling in my foot. Kayce came over at the drop of a dime to rewrap my leg and inspect my incisions. Kayce possesses a vast knowledge of physical therapy techniques that has allowed me to successfully commence my healing journey during these unprecedented times. I was asked questions, they did simple tests including watching my gait as I walked. I was given a few extremely simple exercises for my core, none for my glute. I did the exercises and didn't see any improvement after 10 days. I went online to WebMD and found exercises to build strength in my glutes that took amount 10 minutes a day. After a week, I could get into my car and climb stairs more easily. The side benefit is my balance is better. The cost for the one visit was $315.00. I expected more. FYI about a decade ago I had a back issue, instead of going to a P.T. I went to well qualified Personal Trainer who worked with me and helped me to strengthen my back. In the future I will go to a personal trainer at a gym. $315 would have gotten me 6 sessions.
