My first experience the manager did my nails customer service sucked but my nails were awesome. Today I went there. The first young girls come to me " show me " I said show you what?" What you want "she says as she stands over me I ask her to sit so we can talk she says no she's busy I said go finish with her then we can talk. She says she doesn't want to do me..manager says come back at 3:30 I did I waited for the girl told her take her time. I sit down . Same thing . Have a seat we can discus my nails . "I'll stand I have things to do. " Well that's it if you can't sit and even be polite just snotty because you don't think I'll go somewhere else you're wrong . The manicure tech I usually see was away so I went to one who had done my pedicure before. Natalie rushed, was rude, and didn't do a good job. I had to have her fix something that wasn't done properly. It truly seemed like I was a waste of her time. I tipped anyways only to be told after that what I need is easy and I don't need to request her because she's too busy. I have never felt so poorly treated. That is not what I am used to and if I come back I will never see anyone but my usual nail tech again. read more

Garbage! Andy the owner is a complete fool! His nail tech used that pink power to create a natural look ok! Fine I get it! However she wasn't supposed to use it over the white tip! Now my nails have a pink hue! I went back the next day because the day I had them done, I had a Christmas party that I needed to get to so I went back the next day in person and spoke to Andy the owner and he told me that if I wanted to get it done again I have to come back the day that nail technician was there! Uhm.. No! I'm not going my entire week with pink nails bro! I'm like " Uh nope! You'll do them today because I paid for a service and I expect that service to be honoured!" I was livid! Great service here and minimal wait times if any. They are fully equipped with over 5 pedicure chairs and six nail tables with an ample selection of shellac colors. Waxing services are discreet if a bit lengthy although significant attention to detail is always appreciated in this regard. I have been here 3 times now and always get prompt and friendly attention from Andy Ho, the manager or Jesse. Rumor has it that special customers are given a small glass of wine to enjoy while soaking their tootsies in the specially scented water. Paraffin wax finishes off spa-grade manis and pedis perfectly. Conveniently located in South Edmonton Common, it's a great way to finish off a day of shopping the box stores. read more

Would give zero stars. On mother's day a woman was body shamed and verbally abused by a nail tech here while tryig tp pamper herself with her mom and sister. Not only was the woman harassed inside, but when she left the tech followed her to her vehicle and had the audacity to pull open her door! The manager not only pushed the incident off as not a big deal, he made excuses for it and the technician. I can't understand how the tech still has a job, or the manager for that fact. I left a review on their Facebook page as well that I was disgusted by the way the woman was treated and how the matter was clearly not addressed or resolved. The manager told me I was mean by saying that they "should hire staff that doesn't body shame or verbally abuse customers" and that I had no business saying anything about their establishment as I have not been there. Although I haven't personally been there I could never support a business that body shames or harasses and bullies women. Unimpressed with the customer service and the quality. I came in with my friend and her nails were too short and already lifting after we left the salon. The guy who did her nails called the color she chose "unattractive". My nails turned out well but the lady was rough and rude. My cuticles are sore and one is bleeding. The stations didn't seem that clean. Lots of shouting across the salon between the staff. Bad customer care. If it was cheap I'd be ok with bad customer service, but they still want $50+. I went here to get gel nails done for my boyfriends big bday surprise, a few ladies at my work recommended this place and swear by it as the best nail salon ever. However I have a different opinion... When you first walk in the decor is decent, modern, colourful, and overall appealing. You will be surprised that the employees are mostly men, don't let that discourge you though they seemed to love what they are doing, and their clients seemed overall pleased with their results. However the lady I had VERY aggressive! Now I find myself to have high pain tollerance but what this woman was doing was just ridiculous, and to top it off her english was so far off that it was nearly impossible to understand what she needed me to do, instead she was grabby, pushy and would either smack the counter or tap my hands when she wanted them by the fan. After my nails were done and I had a look that the finished product I found them to be crooked and a few of them had bubbles from where the gel didnt properly settle. The price for nails was probably the best part it was $55 (including tip) for a full new set of gel nails. I may give this place another shot but with a different person. read more

Thanks to this place I now have a bruise on my arm from the lady that did my nails. I went in and I think the got either the owner or manager. And she was the rudest lady I have ever met. So I got the gel nail, and I asked for the options for nail colours and she mumbled there where abouts p, but I couldn't here her. So I asked her again and she literally grabbed my arm and turned me harshly to where they where. I now have a huge greenish purple bruise on my arm. Not to mention she didnt do what I asked her, which was a natural lengths look, which she assured me it would. It was not a natural length. They where to long. Plus whenever she wanted me to move my hand she pushed me hands roughly off table. My friend got another lady which did a wonderful job on her nails, and she took her time, she was really sweat, she put nice smelling lotion on her hands, she put a hot cloth on her arms and fyled her nails down nicely and she paid 30 for hers. I paid 55 dollars for mine, and didn't get any of that. And I am very upset about that and the lady that did mine. Not to mention she pretty much screamed at a girl that came to drop. Off a resume that they where not hireing. I hope this lady is fired because since looking at other reviews about this place, I'm not the only one who had a bad experience from this lady read more

Worse place ever!!!!! From the moment I walked with my friend I notice the staff lounging on the furniture watching tv. Right away we were acknowledged and escorted to a table to start our service. I wanted to phase out my original nail set and just get a normal manicure with a shellac finish, but for some odd reason my nail tech did not approve and said that was bad idea. After arguing with him that I didn't want a fill I started to notice his station was filthy and the towel he was using was dirty and old. At this point I felt very uncomfortable and sat there in complete silence watching him grab his tools that were unsanitary and covered with old skin. I wanted to leave so bad but i came with my friend and I was hoping her experience was better. As the service progressed he became annoyed with me and started to become aggressive and rude. I love getting my nails done and my experience usually is superb at places such as Dior Nails-Amazing nails-Nail IT- Nail art- just to name few. As soon as the service was over I asked my friend about her experience and she was not impressed. Unfortunately her experience was just as bad and she was completely grossed out. Never ever would I return or recommend this place, I promised myself if I am ever in situation like this one again I would just walk out!!!! It's really hit and miss when you come here. There's a few women staff members who are absolutely horrendous. The one lady is way to rough and actually made me bleed when I was getting my nails done, it was actually the woman working next to her that told her to be more gentle. The men are all wonderful they've always made my nails look amazing!!! I always book an appointment now. After calling ahead to see if I could get in for a pedicure for 1:15, I show up at 1:10 and am told to take a seat. 25 min later they tell me to sit in the pedi chair and begin to fill it with water that was freezing cold. I Mentioned this and they said it was okay it would warm up(?). The bottoms of my feet were lightly scraped with a grater thing, not with the blade because someone else was using it at the time-- when they were in need if it. I requested a regular pedicure and after I noticed the girl taking out the gel Lamp I said regular and she told me she had already put the other kind on. For which I was charged an extra 15$. I requested a design and got 3 diagonal stripes drawn across my big toe in white that I got charged $5 for. Overall a horrible experience and a terrible pedicure. I will never go back. read more

OMG...if you can avoid this place, please do. I was going on vacation and a "so called friend" recommended this place for a manicure/pedicure. I went in, it was nice enough but then the technician started asking me about shellac. I had a bad experience with shellac before so I was not interested. He continued to harass me for at least 20 minutes until I finally said "NO" very seriously. Then he gave me the worst manicure/ pedicure I have ever had in my life. The only difference in my feet and hands when I walked out of there than when I walked in was the polish was changed. Plus the fact that it was the quickest mani/pedi I have ever had. Maybe 35 minutes all together. I was so furious when I left there, I gave a .50 cent tip. I will never go back to this place nor will I ever recommend any of my REAL friends to this place. Also, it could do with a good cleaning. The dust on just about everything looks like it has been there for at least a year! Completely unsanitary. read more

I can not explain how truly awful this place is!! THE worst customer service I have ever had. I simply wanted an acrylic nail fill and they said no problem it'll be 20 mins! Okay no problem, I sit and wait for about 15mins and they finally ask me to sit down, perfect. In that time 6 pedicures had walked in after me. They began the 2 of the pedicures after I was already sitting down waiting, and Andy kept coming over saying one more minute!! I ended up waiting an hour and a half!!!!!!! Once again another crap nail place on Edmonton's south side. I have gone for 2 pedis and a mani here. This place is way over priced for what you get. The men that work here have been fantastic. The women not so much. The last pedi I went for was a horrible. The lady was rude and barely spoke to me. She was rough and not paying attention. When I asked her to cut my toe nails straight. She got upset with me and cut them so short saying that was what I asked for. As if! They are now short on one foot and crooked on the other foot. Looks like crap. Also at the end she didn't bother doing the wax or putting oil on my cuticles. Thanks for making me pay for the full meal deal and skipping dessert you twit! Pay attention to the detail of the work you are doing. On top of that everyone working kept speaking another language so you know they are talking smack about you. The whole experience was terrible. I wanted coffin nails, I showed the lady the picture she said okay she could do that. Then she cut my nails too short to do a nice coffin :( upon filing she burned my skin multiple times with her emery board. I picked a nude color and notice bits of glitter in my nail from previous people I guess. Also she did about 5 coats of paint/gel so there are some bubbles. Not very impressed. read more

I have been going here for awhile now and have recommended it to so many people. After I got a pedicure on Monday I have completely changed my mind. This salon is so unprofessional and rude. The girl who did my pedicure was so aggressive, didn't listen to me and cut me in 3 places. She filed down my nails way to much to the point where it hurts to wear shoes. My mom has also got her nails done there multiple times and has had her nails fall off. When I called to complain about my pedicure and the girl who did it who was Hannah, they told me they didn't cut me and they don't do refunds. I work in an industry where I have clients and if they aren't happy with something I go out of my way to make sure they are. They need to reevaluate how they talk to clients. If you advertise that you open at 11am, you schedule someone to be here at 10:45 at the latest. I've worked many service industry jobs and this is pretty standard business practice. I had an appt for 11 and stood in the cold until someone finally showed up at 11:05 then acted like it was my fault saying, "don't you have a car to sit in?" She then started my pedicure in her parka and hat with the lights off. THIS IS WHY YOU ARRIVE BEFORE YOUR SCHEDULED OPENING so you're ready to conduct business when the doors open. My husband had tried to do something nice for me by booking and prepaying a manicure and pedicure for me. Nobody knew anything about it and had to call their manager. Then they told me that it was going to be much more than what he paid for because I wanted shellac which I was FINE with. Then they told me it was going to be even MORE because instead of getting both services myself, I had brought my daughter to get the manicure instead of myself. This. Is. Ridiculous. I would've walked out if not for my daughter and myself already being part way through our services when this happened. They also tried to argue with me that I don't understand running a business which, by the way, fantastic customer service approach, and also not correct. I own a business. That's why I know you're full of shit. Exact same amount of labour and materials to do the manicure on my daughter instead of me. You're gouging me. I may have been in a better state of mind to work with you on it had anyone actually showed up on time to work today. Take a business class. Treat your customers the way you would want to be treated. If you had bought a gift like this for a loved one, sent them out to pamper themselves and they were treated like this HOW WOULD YOU FEEL? I've been here many many times since you opened. I have visited here a few times for pedicures but I think I will start looking for a new place. Being new to Edmonton this was the first nail place I visited, and once I find a place I tend to stick with it out of comfort. My pedicures have always looked good but it is expensive ($70 for shellac with the "spa" treatment, which consists of them VERY briefly rubbing exfoliant and cooling gel on your feet and legs). The last time I went, I watched closely as I have started hearing more on the news about unsanitary conditions present in some nail salons. Tools came out of plastic packages (presumably autoclaved) but were dumped directly onto the metal cart which I can only assume isn't cleaned between patrons. She took out a fresh wooden stick to put the exfoliant and cooling gel on my legs, but double dipped many times and I assume that wasn't just with me. There were people coming in steadily that day, and the woman doing my pedi kept her eyes on the door literally 95% of the time and would stop working on me to yell across the room every time someone came in to find out what service they wanted. I don't know if she was doubling as manager that day or what. She was very distracted though. For the exfoliant part, she only did one foot!! She also didn't trim the cuticles on one of my feet, but went back later on - maybe she remembered she forgot. Yes, I should have spoke up about the missed services and potential health hazards - this was my error. But overall I think this was the last straw so I will now find a new salon. read more

I like the atmosphere of the salon, it is quite spacious and big. I liked my nails and left pleased. I must comment on a couple of things though that didn't appeal to me. 1) How the employees constantly talk/laugh in their native language to each other 2) How they want cash and push it on you to pay w/ cash by having an atm machine right in the salon, which charges you $2.50 service charge along w/ your own banks service charges. They do take debit, but when I went in towards the end of their shift, he requested cash only. Makes me wonder if he didn't just pocket the money?? 3) They need to be more people friendly. 4) Not question why you come 1-2 hours before the salon closes. I did not feel welcomed! read more

Strongly do not recommend. Here is an honest review, yes I will admit the salon itself looks fancy inside and makes you feel like your pampering yourself getting your nails done. The actual service you get is horrible. As soon as you step inside the salon you are not greeted, the initial conversation you get is " What do you want?" not even a " HELLO WELCOME". Im sure alot of nail salons are the same, but I would totally overlook that flaw if I otherwise had a better experience and flawless nails....But I cannot considering how bad of a service I had. Got my nails done for a special occasion and the nail tech was upset that I didnt know what style to pick from, Once I sat in the chair he expected me to know the type of nail style and exact color from their options which he gave me about 30 seconds to decide, then he got angry and shook his head that I needed a few more minutes as I thought he was cleaning my nails so I assumed I would have a few extra time. I personally thought he did a great job on my nails I was happy with the end result but then a week later, I looked down to my hands and noticed that 1 nail fell off, I have gotten my nails done over a handful of times and this has never happened, So I went back to get it fixed. You wont believe it right after getting my first nail fixed an hour later a second one broke I WENT BACK AGAIN.. 2 DAYS LATER GUESS WHAT, MY 3RD NAIL BROKE IN LESS THAN 2 WEEKS i've had the nail. I did not want to go AT ALL after my initial visit because of how bad they treat certain people. I went back and he declined to fixed my nail. I came here yesterday to get my nails done. The place looks nice when you don't look around very much. I finally got in after a longish wait time (even though I made an appointment) I told them which colours I wanted and everything and they had a large selection which was good. I got put at a station directly after another customer and they hadn't cleaned anything at all. The lady I had barely spoke a word to me. While I got my nails done the lady dug her fingernails into me extremely hard and when I said ouch she pretended not to notice. She also hit me with the grinding tool on my skin many times and it was so painful. I even have little cuts around my nails. The manicure I got was okay. My fake nails got cut at an angle which is really annoying and the sparkles from my accent nail got caught in my regular nail polish. When I went up to wash my had after I was finished I notice a huge OPEN bucket of dirty razor blades sitting on the counted and I thought that was disgusting and unsanitary. The price was too much for what I received. My friend on the other hand had a very nice lady and she treated her very nicely and her manicure is perfect so not everyone here is bad! I would just say that it's not the cleanest place ever and there are a few bad apples! read more
