Kolu and his team did an AMAZING job prompting us to leave our original 5 Star review! After ceramic coating, we were on our way to pick up our license plates --BANG-- on Kapiolani - a car hit us on the passenger side. Our brand new car :-( BANGED! Got the body work done and waited the specified time to re-coat. Took it back to Kolu for ceramic coating redo this weekend. Just picked it up today -- I swear, the car looks brand new!! He did an AMAZING job again! Look at the shine on our car!! We noticed the car was detailed too - even the rims were shining. We also noticed the little black tar specks on the car from the road repaving were GONE! (Picture of side view mirror used to have specks on it!) Over and above - we are sooo glad we went to Kolu and Custom Auto Accessories when we 1st bought our car and again with our redo. Totally recommend!! --‐-------------------‐------------------- DATE: OCTOBER 2025 WOW - talk about AMAZING! We picked up our car this morning and was completely blown away! Our car looks absolutely beautiful after Kolu and his team worked their magic on our Lexus NX 350H! We got a referral from our friend who had his car ceramic coated (LOVES IT). Our friend got his referral from his friend who also had Kolu ceramic coat his car (LOVES IT TOO). DOUBLE referral -- we knew it had to be GOOD! From the very start, Kolu was nice and very easy to talk to. You can tell from the start, he's a real professional and takes pride in doing the very best job! After looking on Yelp and seeing the positive review, I called Lux's and Washington was able to fit me in the same week. Weekends are busy for him but he had a helper show up just after lunchtime on a Friday and that person worked till nearly 800 pm that night! Washington oversaw the work and probably spent over 3 hours himself. At first I thought it was a bit pricey for an interior clean and detailing, and an exterior wash, including cleaning off the engine a bit, but after considering the total number of hours they put in, I think they certainly earned their money and did a great job. Very satisfied with the cleaning, and attention to details. Even my domestic inspector (wife ;) was impressed. So overall, a friendly , professional service and people who cares that they do a good job for the customer. Keep up the great work Lux's !

You can also buy most of what you need from Shea's and do it yourself at home. I decided to do it myself because I'm doing multiple cars, it's more cost-effective, and I'm not chasing perfection. My goal was protection and shine. I did my first car and I couldn't believe how nice it came out. I now feel I have the confidence to coat my other two cars and also maintain them. You have to maintain your car even after coating but it's a lot easier and faster after you coat it. Shea and his team are very knowledgeable, skilled, and friendly. They answer all my questions and are very helpful, with no pressure sales tactics. I haven't gotten any services done by them but whenever I drop by to buy supplies the cars they're working on always look cherry. Now my car does too! Thank you Team Shea!
