They are not very attentive and do not pay attention to what you need. They "forgot" to adjust the water temperature and my feet were in superhot water before they realized it was on the wrong setting. Lots of customers but I was able to get a walk-in, which was a plus, but I would recommend Stars Nails on Durango which is where I usually go by far. They are far more consistent and more attentive to what you might need. read more

The services I received from professionals was horrible. Ok, so I was a walk-in, and was told to come back in 30 minutes . When I came back the staff ignored me, Nobody re-greeted me to tell me it will be 10 minutes, or we now have a 30 minute wait, can I make an appointment for later. Poor service. I asked for a lip wax. If you've had a lip wax, you'll know sometimes they wax the lip area twice then tweeze to clean up the area. At ProfessioNails, one the ladies is lazy. She waxed my lip once then used the tweezer. She pulled on my skin instead of the hair. When I look at myself, she skipped a section of my lip where there was hair and attempted to tweeze it. When I asked her why she didn't wax the area a second time, she said the hairs were short so they should be tweezed. Wrong, one hair was long. When she saw I was upset, she offered to wax. By that time I lost all trust. She could have pulled off skin. I said I didn't want her to touch me. While I paid for the service she yelled to her co-workers her experience without giving me an opportunity to tell what happened to me. I paid for the service and even tipped her because that's the right the to do. I'm never coming back and I don't recommend waxing here. Don't know what the manicure or pedicure experience here. read more

I also asked for a simple design for Christmas and was told that I couldn't get what I wanted due to her next client was coming soon so I had to deal with what she was able to do and not finish the rest ... mind you I waited 13 mins past my appointment. On top of that i paid $15 more to not get what I wanted and when I asked the owner to make it right she called me a liar and yelled at me in front of all the other clients. the owner also allowed the nail tech to yell at me in front of people. Not a good vibe at all! I've been coming here for about three years, seeing Annie. No matter how often she's cut me and made me bleed, I still went to her because I liked the way she shaped and cut my nails exactly the length I like. She's also cut my friend up and was asked why I continue using her. I would have to forewarn her every time to be gentle, which she would oblige but if I didn't remind her, I'd get cut, but was willing to take the risk because I was just used to her and didn't want to change techs I guess. This last time she cut my big toe nail really short which I didn't mind but it was completely round shape and I like square shaped. All my other nails were squared off and then I have this one completely round nail, which just looked awkward. She said I'll make the other big toe round too so they match. I asked her to please file it across to make it square. She said no, it's too short. I stayed quiet, went home and filed it down myself and it was perfectly squared shape. However, the paint came off due to filing it down. I called to see if she can repaint and they said she was busy. I said can someone else just repaint the big toes because I had plans for the evening. The owner or manager said I'll do it and to come down. When I got there, they were speaking Vietnamese amongst themselves and looked annoyed. I apologized for any inconvenience. They ignored me...Well, if you had done what I asked in the first place, I wouldn't have had to come back. Mind you, this is the first time in three years I ever went back to fix anything nor have i ever complained. I even said hi to Annie and apologized for squaring it off myself. I have to apologize for making it the shape I wanted? SMH...The manager proceeded to try and add paint over the filed, smudge nails. I asked nicely if she can remove the polish and repaint. They started talking again and in English said "Remove polish." Obviously, they were not saying anything nice. You're going to throw polish on smudge up polish? After repainting, I said bye to Annie and she had an attitude like no other. She later texted me at 11pm and said she cannot take my appointments anymore and to have someone else do it. Literally baffled and speechless. I let you cut me up for three years and still went to you and you don't want my business because you couldn't file my nails down? Ok. The staff here appear to be nice and kind but I believe that last long enough to get you in the chair. I was actually receiving service when another lady walked in and it appeared she may be familiar with the staff because the employee ANGIE called her by name. Well apparently the young lady was a few minuets late for her appointment and she was very apologetic. The employee named ANGIE began to yell at her and the lady left out in tears. At this point I was so appalled with this employees behavior but I noticed them all talking and laughing carrying on a lenthy conversation So I turned on the translator app on my phone and the ladies that worked at this shop were carrying on a conversation calling the young lady that was late to her appointment a dumb bitch and ANGIE even used a few racial slurs that I wouldn't dare repeat. Let's just say the young lady that had the appointment was an African American and ANGIE used the "N" word!! This is the worst thing I've ever experienced and witnessed and I wouldn't suggest anyone visit this place. The employees are RACIST AND VERY MEAN PEOPLE. I went in to have gel polish removed and for a regular manicure. They did not remove all of the polish even after I asked them to and then left me with not 1 but 3 bloody fingers. First time visiting since the new owners and since the opening after COVID and it was strictly bleh. It was my husband's first pedicure ever and mine since COVID. Made our appointments for the same time and sat in the chair for about 10 minutes while they began on my hub's. They started my husband's pedicure before mine and before his nail artist was halfway through is massage, my massage was already ended. My artist left nail polish on the skin around my nails as well as cuticles and I had to point it out her before I left. His pedicure was okay. It's expensive and kind of small. I would give 4.5 stars. Went to their website and they responded via email very quickly. I was told to come at 9:45am on a Friday morning. When I arrived they were already busy however I was greeted immediately and told to sign in. I was seated within minutes and had my services done by Jackie. She is very warm and friendly. She doesn't leave you with awkward silence. I had a gel manicure and she did an exceptional job. My hands feel moisturized and she paid good attention to getting the edges and colored within the lines. I declined a pedicure however she did paint my toes to make sure they matched my fingernails. As I sat there waiting for them to dry I observed the place and got to see how they treat the guests/customers. They are helpful, kind and greeted everyone who walked in with a smile. Nope, not great. I came in with a picture of what I wanted.... Not even close. And lumpy uneven gel bumps, crazy thick layer like my nails are wearing high heels. Very little cuticle work (which I really needed) by the tech with long grey dyed hair. Color very weird. Pink blob in the middle, looked like a child did it, charged me extra for cat eye that looked like plain silver polish. My toes were slightly better, she actually did the pedicure, but asked for white with holographic glitter for a pop! Got beige and boring instead. Blends in with my skin, not what I wanted for upcoming cruise. $155 later, left very sad. I didn't have my glasses so couldn't see very clearly until I got home. Also mani girl pushed the light like 3 cycles, while she was busy molding the other hand with this thick goo gel. I came here for the first time for a regular mani-pedi. (Manicure $20, pedicure $35). I originally hesitated to come because of the Yelp reviews but I thought I'd try. I called ahead and they asked if I could come in half an hour so I didn't have to wait in the salon. Tiffany was my gal. She offered me a beverage and (I said water). And she helped with ingrown toenails (I always want an experienced person for that). Anyway I was pleased with her service and she also mentioned that I can make appointments. The salon also uses 5-star so you can get credit after you reach 300 points. I will definitely come back here. It was a little less pricey than the first salon I tried in the area. read more

I am so disappointed with this place. When it first opened I was so happy because of the location and it's a beautiful salon. My first visit there was great, the nail technician did a great job but after that it got worse and worse. I have no idea how some of the employees got their licenses because it's crazy what a poor job they do. My last visit there was before a trip to Cancun and the manicure didn't last til evening and she painted over my cuticles. My pedicure lasted 2 days. I can paint my own toes and it will last 3 weeks. The whole time the person that did my manicure complained I had so much cuticles. No matter how much I like the location and the salon I am not planning to go back. They will upsell you even if you have an appointment with services pre-chosen. They are still going to push for more. They have no regular polish reds or anything similar. For red you have to get gel. They will start on your pedicure but if a better service comes in they will walk away and take them instead. No explanation. 10 minutes later someone will acknowledge you. Everyone around will see that you were started but your technician moved to another customer. The manager will be there but she will be uninterested in what's happening just standing at the front desk. If you want to sit in a nail salon, feet in cold water, while the techs snicker about you then this is your spot. Otherwise drive two minutes away and pick somewhere else. You have enough options that being ignored doesn't have to be one of them. read more

I went to a place before Professionals that made my dip powder so thick and every other place I went to kept telling me I needed to do a gel top coat in order for it to be shiny. Not this place, they do everything with excellence and they used a top coat that is the correct top coat that you're supposed to use with dip powder. I will definitely be back! read more
