Large, beautifully decorated salon, but that's where the positives end. Despite being nearly empty, the service felt rushed, perfunctory, and impersonal. I booked a manicure and pedicure, and the same technician performed both services, even though there were other staff members available and not assisting clients. Instead of creating a more relaxing experience, the entire appointment felt hurried from start to finish. My manicurist was impatient, hurried, and gave the impression that she wanted to get through the appointment as quickly as possible. She seemed to resent even reasonable requests or questions, responding with visible impatience rather than professionalism. There was no warmth, no conversation, and no effort to make the experience enjoyable. Her movements were rough and, at times, painful. Even after I indicated that something hurt, she didn't slow down or adjust her technique. The manicure reflected the same lack of care. She didn't bother cleaning up excess polish around the edges or correcting small imperfections before finishing. I had to insist on a separate nail file from the one she had just used on my toes - I must have broken "the bank" cost-wise based on the raised eyebrows and argument I got. The little plastic container housing the files and buffer and such was dirty, y'all! The entire appointment felt like I was just another stop on a conveyor belt rather than a valued customer. The most unprofessional moment came when she insisted I pay before the service was complete. I declined, explaining that I prefer to pay after the service was finished. She immediately became far more animated and engaged than she had been during the entire appointment--but only to argue about being paid in advance. It was the most interest she showed throughout the visit. Overall, the experience felt like minimalist service at premium prices. I expected attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Instead, I left feeling like an inconvenience. I won't be returning. read more

I get Gel X and I'm seriously addicted now because of her My nails always look so good and stay healthy--no damage, no lifting, just clean work every time. The wife and I have been coming here for several years now. We've been to other places in Vegas and they were all "fine", but this place is the best. It's clean, they keep the furniture and equipment updated often enough that it's always comfortable and modern. While I can only comment on the pedicures from personal experience (which are amazing), the wife's nails are always top notch. The employees are always super nice and helpful and pricing is reasonable, especially for the quality you get for it. Can't recommend it enough. I'll upload pics later. Yesterday I visited this nail shop for and was greatly disappointed with what I left with. Phranky was my nail technician. The staff were polite, but the actual service was not great at all. I asked for a full set with a black French tip. The acrylic application is very sloppy my nails are not even or smooth. The shaping is uneven. Some nails are thicker than others The polish job is subpar you can see the streaks in the base. And French is basically translucent. I left the shop picking off dried polish & acrylic from under my nails & off my skin There are plenty of salons in the area that do better work for the same (or even lower) price. It's part of the outings at this point. There was a point I didn't have a go to person because each nail tech was amazing. Now, I go to my girl, Helen! Even though all nail techs are amazing, she does such a phenomenal job. Her creative vision and talent really shines each and every appointment. At this point, I let her take lead and surprise me after I share what color I want. Lol! That's how much trust I have with her. I have terrible in grown (I know tmi) but let me tell you! I chose the Deluxe Essential Pedicure for $45. My pedicurist cleaned my nail beds, scrubbed my feet, filed my nails the way I preferred, massaged and lotioned my legs and feet. Felt so great! I highly recommend coming during the middle of the week as it was quiet and slow. I've made appointments in the past for a Friday and a Saturday and they get super swamped. This has been the worst manicure I ever had! Tim was rushing and was a bit cocky that he didn't want to listen to what I wanted. He put way too much glue on some and very little on other nails. Then he educated me on how to put chrome when he was not using the right tools.(he was using his fingers so the chrome was not evenly put on my nails.) the fake nails he put fell after a day. The technician used a file that had previously been used, a dirty towel was used to dry my hands. Then she cut me and it wasn't even near the nail where I was cut. The polish went onto my skin beyond my cuticles. Everything about my experience was terrible. I should have walked out...I almost did, but I was there with a friend for a fun outing. Went I yesterday morning for a pedicure and acrylics with gel. Paid over $100 ($55 for pedicure and $40 for acrylics with gel + and additional $5 for the shape) It was such a bad experience, the 2 nail techs were very kind but this was such a bad nail job for what I paid. I understand if they were just having a bad day but I shouldn't have paid $100 for this. Even charged me for a almond shape acrylic that is very short. I don't know why they would charge more for that as well. Using less acrylic and gel product. It only takes a few minutes to shape them very disappointed. Finding a good nail spa for a pedicure can be difficult for men. There's a feeling that workers tend to hurry through the service, thinking we don't know any better. And... that's exactly what happened here! I was in the area and noticed this spot had great reviews on Yelp, so I decided to give it a shot. I sat in the massage seat (very disappointing chair and could use an upgrade) at 3:59 pm and finished by 4:15pm. It was a 16 min horrible pedicure. I'm not into those fancy pedicures that include exfoliating scrubs, moisturizing lotions, and nail polish applications. I'm a basic person who just wants my toe nails trimmed, cut off any excess skin, and a relaxing massage is all I need. That's what I told her and she presents me this menu with all these fancy pedicures that were priced around $55 - $75, which I think is a bit too much for something I don't really need. Once I turned her down and asked for the basic (turned the menu to the first page $35 pedicure) her demeanor changed and I already knew this wasn't going to be good. I closed my eyes to enjoy the massage chair, and before I knew it, my pedicure was over. I looked at my toenails asked her to please cut them shorter, she wasn't pleased to hear that. She then took me to the counter to have someone take my payment, without even saying thank you or goodbye, which I found quite rude and dismissive. I was contemplating not leaving a tip for her, but I ended up tipping her anyway. However, if she had done a better job, I would have left a more generous tip. Unfortunately, she is unaware that I frequently get pedicures, and this was the worst experience I have ever had. There are so many more nail salons down Rainbow blvd, I don't recommend this place. read more
