They have a number of selections which are previously prepared, still a little bit better than what you'd expect at a gas station. They also have made to order deli selections and the staff prepares some excellent food. Service at Jake's deli's/Irving gas stations is generally excellent. The people in the staff try to ensure customer satisfaction. This Jake's is relatively new, after having been completely rebuilt after an unfortunate fire several years ago. You probably wonder why I've given them only two stars after a laudatory verbal description. I did so because of their lack of preparedness for the COVID-19 pandemic. I came in to order sandwiches and there was not one single customer wearing a mask, none of the staff except the cashier were wearing masks, there were no signs for social distancing, only one single sign outside of the door. If they had some measures in place in the middle of this pandemic, they would easily rate four stars.
