And the group did a great job last night in a in about a 90 minute set, they went through six or seven exercises where the audiences help them provide the basis for their improv skits. The six actors all have gifts Christy is an excellent physical comedian. She uses her body to make a wide range of comic movements that just make you laugh. Matt Brass who's been with the troop a very long time has strong, verb verbal and visual skills. He is also the keeper of the hats and if you actually go to the show, you'll know what I mean. Jauhn who I know is an electrician by day and actor by night projector range of characters. The three other members of the come off passionately, and all of them think well on their feet . As I said, at the beginning, I have not seen them perform in about three years but they have definitely gotten better and would be competitive in French festivals in Canada or improv festivals that go on throughout the United States. This show is PG but they do have more adult shows which I went to in the past. Both will make you laugh.

The first showing impressed me so much I had to go again! Micheal (Kekoa), brings such a special brand of charisma as does the rest of the staff (whom usually alternate). This really brought back my appreciate for magic. The best part is that this is close up magic, so you get a very intimate feel and see things as close as possible. As with all magic shows there is a bit of story you have to buy into, but that's the beauty of it all, is to give that feeling and belief that something can happen. This show and staff really captures all those in the most entertaining and hilarious way possible. Thank you again Kekoa and staff, next time I'm in Hawaii I will surely find any excuse to visit.

My hubby and I have been together for more than 30 years so this has been a great new date night option. We have been to 2 of these shows, different magicians, and left thinking both times, "how did he do that?" We've been to the big Vegas Shows but this was like sitting in a cozy living room with a group of friends while watching everything close up. You would be extra lucky if there are children in the group because they add to the "Wow!" factor. The magicians are top notch and do a fantastic job engaging the audience and adding their own humor to their delivery. Last night we were lucky enough to attend Shoot Ogawa's last show (for now. He made everything look so simple, natural, some were old slight of hand but still left us scratching our heads. We understand that he is going to be back in a couple of weeks). If you share your email address, they also provide you discount coupons to attend another show, no strings attached. They said that they rotate through the top 20 international parlor magicians. Even the most skeptical audience members left with smiles on their faces. The magicians also stick around at the end to pose for pictures with people from the audience. We also received a complimentary drink and free validated parking. I would recommend following the instructions on the confirmation to be there early. They take people in by groups. The staff members are super friendly and funny. They take you into a small room with a bunch of neat stuff that make you ask, "is that for real?" The first group will get first choice seating. Sit in the middle for the best view and get ready for a no - low tech night of old fashioned entertainment.

The way the performers engage with the crowd was amazing and pure talent from the heart. The outfits are bold, creative and absolutely stunning, adding to the power of the show. The check-in process was easy and well coordinated. There were different levels of general admission tickets: 18 and younger off to the left side, I think meet the band off to the other side, and preferred and general admission for 21 and over, which was our group. The sections were well posted and clearly cordoned off. In the open area, there was a vendor for beverages. There were also Porta potty style restrooms. I appreciated that a group of them were labeled for women and another for men. Washing stations outside for both. In our area, we were able to be right up against the barricade, so we had excellent viewing. The area in front of us was preferred. The area behind us sloped upward and at the top area there were bleachers set up for folks to have a seat. Otherwise, it was standing room only. That was perfect for us as it gave us space to dance in! The sound system was fantastic! Speakers were positioned well, loud enough for all to hear, and clarity was strong. It was not so loud that it was punishing to the ear drums, and we could enjoy singing and hearing those around us as well. Stage visibility was good: not quite centered, but nothing really obscuring our view. No shade cover here, but the breezes were refreshing and the temps were perfect once the sun set. Exiting was well guided and traffic flowed smoothly. So glad we were able to see a fave local band while we were here at MACC!

This mango farm tour is awesome! The couple running it are so sweet and know so much, too. It was…read morereally awesome to learn how their mango farm works -- as someone interested in gardening, and especially curious about exploring the "food forest" permaculture side of growing food, it was really educational. She taught us the different plant groups that feed each other, and what order to plant to get the most productivity (and safety! We learned that papaya makes a good windbreak for smaller and more delicate plants, and agave makes a good firebreak!). I wish I lived in Maui because I'd be planting mangoes, papayas, bananas, coffee, and cocoa, RIGHT away. It was wild finding out how fast and tall papaya trees grow! These plants don't grow well in Seattle, but we are still going to take what we learned and see how we can apply similar features for our own food forest. I appreciated the very real perspectives about what works - as well as pitfalls and challenges with their food forest / mango farm. The tour was really interesting and fun, and we even had a resident cat named Tyson who took the tour with us! SO CUTE! The view there was beautiful, and though our tour group was tiny, I could see this being a fun activity for kids and families, too. Enough safe space for little folx to run around safely, and so much is stackable. She let us try mango (and wild mangos), ice cream beans (what an experience!), fresh coffee, and more. So good! They said they are going to do dinner parties here and I look forward to coming back to the Maui mango farm when we visit next time. Hopefully we'll have some good photos to show off of the garden upgrades that they've inspired. We really wanted to do something to support the Lahaina community (without being a disaster tourist, either), so visiting a regenerative farm seemed like an awesome choice, and I'm very glad we went. Bonus: since Olowalu was on our way back, we got a spectacular sunset, too.

The walk was very easy and informative and we wore tennis shoes but it could have been easily done with flip flops or sandals. At the end, we were served delicious box of star fruit, papaya, and different mango samples . Also, we were given some recommendations on good local eats, cafes, and bakeries and some or then we spent time ourselves to find!! They are planning on serving dinner as well in the future mango farm tours so be on the lookout!!!

So after making the Komoda Bakery and Pukalani Superette stops along the way, I continued to the end of Highway 37, and then some, to this place! Takes about an hour from Kahului, or 25-30 minutes from Makawao, so plan accordingly... But a nice drive into the countryside, and a laid back place to have a taste of some locally produced wines. Also roam around the nicely landscaped grounds and see some rooms that can be rented for private parties and such. This place will continue to be on my list to stop by if I have time in Upcountry Maui and feel a need for a bit of fuzzy goodness....

They also have options to join their wine club - we considered, but maybe we will join next time. We came in as a walk in and brought our two kiddos. I took off one star because we seemed to get mixed service from the hostess and server. I'm not sure if it was because we were a walk in, a larger group or had kids.
