We laughed and whooped so much our sides hurt and I was losing my voice :) In such an intimate setting the show really came to life and you could see, and feel part of, every facet of the spectacular show and watch the 1970's reappear, along with the BO competitors antics. Sexily hilarious Boylesque fencing, plus busty rhythmic gymnastics, rugby action attraction, a swinging Swede, horsing around Pink Ponies, dirty dancing, and a beautiful drag queen shi shi stilettoing through the theatre, it was non stop Olympic action and so entertaining. If you can grab tickets, go! They will be holding other shows throughout the year and tickets sell out quickly so go online and book them now as this is a small theatre. There is an intermission and you can run faster than a drag queen around the corner to the wine bar for a quickie cocktail before settling back into your seat for round II of the Olympics and more merriment and tassels! It was my first time at this theatre and it definitely won't be my last. Best night out in Maui! Many thanks to all the performers, folks behind the scenes, the front of house and everyone involved in making such a wonderful creation . Plus my friends for coming along with me, not knowing what to expect, but falling in love with burlesque during their first show.

The first showing impressed me so much I had to go again! Micheal (Kekoa), brings such a special brand of charisma as does the rest of the staff (whom usually alternate). This really brought back my appreciate for magic. The best part is that this is close up magic, so you get a very intimate feel and see things as close as possible. As with all magic shows there is a bit of story you have to buy into, but that's the beauty of it all, is to give that feeling and belief that something can happen. This show and staff really captures all those in the most entertaining and hilarious way possible. Thank you again Kekoa and staff, next time I'm in Hawaii I will surely find any excuse to visit.

My hubby and I have been together for more than 30 years so this has been a great new date night option. We have been to 2 of these shows, different magicians, and left thinking both times, "how did he do that?" We've been to the big Vegas Shows but this was like sitting in a cozy living room with a group of friends while watching everything close up. You would be extra lucky if there are children in the group because they add to the "Wow!" factor. The magicians are top notch and do a fantastic job engaging the audience and adding their own humor to their delivery. Last night we were lucky enough to attend Shoot Ogawa's last show (for now. He made everything look so simple, natural, some were old slight of hand but still left us scratching our heads. We understand that he is going to be back in a couple of weeks). If you share your email address, they also provide you discount coupons to attend another show, no strings attached. They said that they rotate through the top 20 international parlor magicians. Even the most skeptical audience members left with smiles on their faces. The magicians also stick around at the end to pose for pictures with people from the audience. We also received a complimentary drink and free validated parking. I would recommend following the instructions on the confirmation to be there early. They take people in by groups. The staff members are super friendly and funny. They take you into a small room with a bunch of neat stuff that make you ask, "is that for real?" The first group will get first choice seating. Sit in the middle for the best view and get ready for a no - low tech night of old fashioned entertainment.

You can feel right away that it's a safe and inclusive space, definitely LGBTQ+ friendly from the start. The bartenders greet you with a smile and a big aloha super attentive and warm. Drinks are on point too! The Margarita is a home run, poured heavy (if that's your style, you'll love it). The Lemon Drop is smooth and refreshing, almost too easy to drink because you can barely taste the alcohol so it's dangerous in the best way. Their branding logo with the rainbow lip bite is powerful. Everything about this place feels intentional, fun and inviting. The show itself was perfect. The way the performers engage with the crowd was amazing and pure talent from the heart. The outfits are bold, creative and absolutely stunning, adding to the power of the show. The crowd is incredible, going absolutely wild, screaming and of course letting out those Cheehoos that lift the energy even higher. This has to be the longest review I've ever written, but it's worth it. A place and experience like this deserves every word. We joined two other couples for a wonderful wine tasting paired with small bites. The table for 8 is in the old jail building, offering an intimate experience in a relaxed atmosphere. We continued our wine tasting by going to the main building where we had wo different flights of wine -- one of sparkling wine and one of robust reds. We also chatted with a lovely couple who had just gotten married, and we helped them celebrate by gifting them a glass of bubbly and two bottles to take with them. The overall service was wonderful, and I would gladly go again.

The grounds are beautiful with several different seating areas surrounded by large mature trees. It was a cool and slightly cloudy day when we were there. It was a nice break from the hot muggy climate in the Kaanapali area. We were seated at one of those high tables on an outside patio area. Then, you order your wine or snacks at the tasting counter. Patio seating areas allow you to take in the lovely ambience of the property. I was nicely surprised to find some very good reds. I liked their 2022 GSM the best. Mele, a red blend was also good, a lighter red than the GSM. We later found Mele in local markets, making it an easy choice of a bottle of wine to buy and take back to enjoy at our hotel. Maui Wine will definitely be on my list for the next time we return to Maui.

The swimming pool has so many leaves that no one cleans. First let me give you some background info. My wife and I are in our early 70's…read more We live in California, but are no stingers to Maui, and have been to all the Hawaiian Islands several times for for the past 35 years. We feel we are fairly good judges of what people are seeking so we would like to share our experiences with the Kamale Beach Club. Our visit was from 4 20 24 to 4/27|24. Weather was low 80's in the days and mid to high 60' in the evening with little to no rain... (perfect)! Ok so what are we looking for when going to the islands? First of all location location... Right? Well I have to say KBC (Kamaole Beach Club) fits this request perfectly! From our lanai I could throw a rock to the ocean... really! You are basically a few 100 feet to the water. So yes ocean view is real! Everything conveniently located. Ok now for the grounds and the condition of the buildings. The KBC scores a 5 star rating here also. The grounds are impeccable! In fact one morning I saw tourist taking pictures of the flowers on the property... Yes it is that nice! The buildings are older say late 60's but are well painted and NO bugs!! Now this was impressive! Except for a few Geckos running around no bugs... not even a fly or mosquito. Ok now we drive up to the office which is in the parking lot of the property. The office is extremely small with only a sliding door as an entry. You would think the office personal would be grumpy working in such a small cramped space but, what we found was exactly the opposite. Suzie and Patti were amazingly friendly and helpful to all our questions and needs. In fact we were in need of a small ice chest to take with us to drive the road to Hana and Suzie loaned us her own personal one. Now who does that? Amazing service! Ok now for my next request... Parking!! The parking is FREE!! And we parked maybe 20 steps from our front door. Now I don't know about you but my wife uses every bit of the 50lbs limit the airlines gives you and of course she makes sure my suitcase has to equal hers... so that short walk sure was nice. We were on the first floor so you guys on the upper floors be aware there are no elevators. The locks/keys are the old paddle type but they give you a lock box on your door incase you lose your key or lock yourself out. This was a nice idea. The rooms are spacious as most of the older building are of that era, but be aware there is no central AC. At least in our room. You do have two AC portable units. One in the bedroom and one in the living room. Honestly we did not use them for we were gone most of the days. When we were in we just left the front door open (there is a heavy duty screen door) and the back patio door open. The way the buildings are situated the ocean breeze sweeps through the rooms keeping things nice and comfy. There are also quiet decorative ceiling fans in each one of those rooms to move the air. Speaking about quiet we did not hear other guest. You know the ones slamming the doors at 2am of kids running ramped past your door. This place was amazingly quiet. The water pressure (another pet peeve coming from CA) was plentiful with lots of pressure and you have your own hot water tank! The furnishing along with dishes and cookware were aged but serviceable and, a full size new refrigerator/ ice maker made it nice to stock it up for the week. Now I did read other reviews and people if you are going to give this wonderful beach front (cottage) the white glove test it is most likely going to fail by your standards. Leave those gloves at home! This is Maui! Embrace the area, the food, the ocean, and most importantly the people and, have a great time! We totally loved it here and are anxious to return in the near future!
