He didn't have the parts I needed right then but he took down my number and called me an hour later to let me know they had them waiting for me. The bulb I had brought in for replacement couldn't be replaced for no apparent reason. Staff didn't really answer any questions as to why or where i could go. All of this being after they gave me the wrong one (I brought mine in and she didn't even check the bulbs male end) And had so return it. After several days they had called back with a website I could buy it off. Overall not that pleasant. Will be going elsewhere next time.

On Feb 1st, I purchased 7 ceiling lights after speaking to Chaman (co-owner), who took full payment without even checking the warehouse stock. He kept making excuses for two weeks, only for me to later find out that he had left the country after giving false commitments. Then I had to deal with Sanchit (another co-owner), who also delayed things before finally issuing a refund after two more visits. But the issues didn't stop there - they sent the wrong pendant light to my house. After repeated complaints, Sanchit promised to send an electrician to fix it but never did, despite multiple follow-ups over two more weeks. Finally, I was forced to speak to Goldy (third co-owner), who pretended to look for the correct light for two days. When I went to the shop as per his request, the receptionist said he had already left for the day. When I mentioned involving the authorities, Goldy called me like a goon and said, "Go ahead, call the cops, I don't care." Ultimately, I got my refund, including the installation cost, but only after extreme frustration and harassment. Save yourself the trouble--avoid this scam shop at all costs!

After holidays, I set up appointment with my plumber for installation and told Royal lighting that I am coming to pick up my stuff as plumber is gona start working. they said come after 2:00 pm , when I went there, they didn't have my faucets ready and told me they would deliver to my address within one hour. Plumber showed up as scheduled but faucets were not delivered. They didn't call me to give any update nor they received my phone calls. My plumber finished rest of the job and he was gone. It's weekend and I have no sinks in my home because of deceptive practice of Royal Lighting. I wouldn't recommend anyone to go there and buy stuff from these non professional people

Unfortunately we were met with lack or interest or service, very high pricing, etc. These folks took service and value to the next level, they truly paid attention to our needs, going above and beyond to ensure price, and quality fit our needs. I came in to buy new…read morelight bulbs, and while that experience was okay, I've now been inundated with threatening scam calls (3 to 4 times a day). How do I know it was Robinson that sold my info on? Well, since it's the only store that I gave out my number to in the last six months, I started receiving these multiple scam calls on the VERY DAY that I bought the items from their store. Shameful.

You can go to your Rona's and Home Depot's all you want for building supplies, but when it comes to faucet's, tubs, shower bases, shower systems, these guys carry a higher end range of product from Grohe to Riobel to Kohler you'll find some good stuff here. The place has a huge showroom, and when I was in here, walking in, amazingly enough it did not feel like a greenhouse, as you do see a ton of lights being displayed. This maybe the prettiest Robinson Lighting showroom I have seen, yet they lack service, most people I find behind a computer behind a counter. And compared to another review of mine at another location, I did not get this here, not even a smidgen close to the attention and service I received at another store. I wasn't even quoted, or given the option of a shower base I was looking for (60 x 30) and said it would take a few weeks? OK are you guys franchised here, cause I just did this transaction a few hours before entering this store. So I was quite confused with the whole matter, at the same time this store, as said, is nicely located, has great selection, and doesn't carry the cheap substitutes you might see in places like going along Bridgeport in Richmond where there are a ton of light stores. If you take pride in where you live, willing to spend more, and not wanting it to look like a cheap addition/renovation where your renting it out, or flipping it on the market, your probably coming here to get something, the only downside is the service, other than that it's not a bad store.
