I talked to Good Guys and they said the person I needed to speak to was in a meeting and they would call me back. They called me back promptly and gave me a price that I thought was fair, so I decided to dispatch their technician. I then asked them if they could give me advise of other things I could do to keep the noise down and they said their technician, Wes would come with some ideas. Well, Wes was excellent. Extremely courteous and helpful and went above and beyond what I asked him to do. After months of research and two HVAC technicians, he gave me the smartest advice I've had. I've very, very happy and would recommend Wes and Good Guys to my friends.

5 years ago, I bought a Navien combi heater unit from them and in those 5 years, I've had them come…read morein 4 times to service the unit. On 3 of those times, they were extremely inefficient and wasted a great deal of time by doing the following: - calling their manager to get instructions on how the unit worked - bringing an instruction manual and spending several hours reading it ( later we found out that this person was a trainee and was learning on the spot ) - during the lengthy maintenance service, we'd peak in on them and noticed they were just sitting there staring blankly at the unit for over 15 minutes!! Like he was praying to the Navien gods or something!! Basically, we got the impression that they would take an inordinate amount of time servicing the unit in order to charge us an excessive amount for an anual maintanence. Each time they visited us, the service cost was around $500. On one occasion they had to do a special descaling process on the unit and that costed $650. We were really suspicious of why a 5 year old unit would require such costly maintenance ( our prior unit was 30 years old and only required servicing 3 times in that time span ), so we called around to other companies in the area and got a quote from them and none of them were quoting us anywhere near the amount the Good Gooys were. Just be very careful when they send over a "specialist" to take a look at your unit. They may be sending you an intern and even when they do send an experienced repairman, they seem to have a minimum service time that they'll spend looking at your unit regardless of the condition the unit is in. Don't be surprised if they charge you $500 to wipe some oil stains off your unit and quote you for 6 hours of work. EDIT: I just added proof that I did in fact purchase a system from The Good Guys as well as an invoice for one of their visits.

Hitman Plumbing - One of The Best Plumbers in Town…read more Five years ago, Ryan, Hitman Plumbing helped my elderly mother to convert a bathtub into a shower and showed great kindness. A few weeks ago, Ryan provided his expertise to our 94 year old neighbour in the same building to do a similar conversion. Ryan was professional and completed the job in a very diligent manner. The job was very well-done and Ryan provided precautionary ideas to make the shower secure and safe. Our elderly neighbour and her family were very pleased and thankful to Ryan. At the same time, we decided to move our 92 year old mother-in-law to live with us so that we could take care of her and walk together with her through her last journey in life. One of the obstacles was to add an additional bathroom with a shower. We consulted Ryan, Hitman Plumbing and the work was begun promptly. Unexpectedly, our elderly was in and out of the hospital and passed away a week ago. Ryan was extremely patient, encouraging us to take the first priority to care and support our family. We were really grateful for his patience, understanding and empathy. From the planning till the job was completed, Ryan added on extra-hours and efforts, ran back & forth to buy supplies, providing excellent expertise. He is a very understanding, kind and honest man with great integrity. He takes every detail to heart and finishes the task quickly and to our complete satisfaction. Hitman Plumbing is absolutely reliable and trustworthy. Ryan is a very professional plumber with a great heart. We have no hesitation to recommend Ryan, Hitman who will do the job in an upbeat and skilful manner.
