This company stole my black 2013 Genesis coupe.They towed it from a private lot without obtaining the signature of the owner as required by law. They completely failed to abide by Oregon laws designed to protect consumers from a notoriously sleazy business. I went to their lot the next day but I was unable to pay the $350 for the 6 block tow as I was homeless at the time. I went to their office on several occasions to get an update on my car and was treated to nothing but lies, and obfuscation. They never sent any of the notices or letters as required by law before they sold it. Then Richard Sprute, the owner, sold my $16,000 car to a holding company he owns for the balance of charges I owed for towing and storage of ($1500) keeping the rest. That folks is how a sleazy tow company stole my car. Richard is a thief and liar and lacks the maturity to answer phone calls or email. He just hides in the back while Shannon tells outright lies to customers that he isn't there. At one point Shannon told me there was only one employee who knew about my car but he only worked on Tuesdays and Thursday night's between midnight and 2:00 AM. I repeatedly asked Shannon for information and documentation but she's nearly as rude and nasty as Dick. This company is owned and operated by a childish thief and liar who deliberately took advantage of my disability and homelessness to line his own pocket. If your car is worthless he "probably" won't steal it but otherwise avoid this company at all costs. If you're wondering why I haven't put this man in jail? My mon live in Rolla Villa in Portland Oregon . They part there Truck up by the club house , with a note in the window saying are dress and number . Pro Tow came tow the truck. Then change us 7. 20 dollars to get the car out. Plus they told us 300 had to be cash not card. Now the place is in Portland a cross the street is king city and Tigard , but the house is in Portland , Pro tow Violated Portland Towing Laws( Lic 9.02-13) There is 30 parking spots. Which Royal villa has told us that a note is all we had to put on the car. Even with we were tow. We part there all the time. But lets get to the LAWS Pro TOW broke the signs must be 18X24 in size . Must state the hours of parking that could be towed. Most be printed with letters no more less then 2 inch . At east one sigh has be posted and clearly readable at each drive way(I have picture they are not. Then least one sigh must be posted for every 3 parking spots or every 1,000 feet( it is not) there over 25 parking spots and only two signs that are further then a 1000 feet apart . Plus the Truck was park in a parking spot in the back that was over 2000 feet away from any sigh. So they violated the law and took a a vantage of 2 elderly women , which if they did not have me they would lost the truck. I took picture of the parking area and entrance. For proof . I call them and they said call back tomorrow. We will be file a complaint ion this towing company! Plus seeing if 2K New would like to interview about this predator towing of two elderly jewish women plus help with pursuing the violations done by the towing company ! I was driving down Cornelius pass when I looked behind me and saw what I thought were emergency lights going until I realized that they belonged to a tow truck and were the wrong color. Low and behold that same truck runs a red light and then drives into the oncoming traffic lane in the middle of light to get around other cars (the light had just turned green). I tried to call the company to let them know their driver was being unsafe and they lied to me about there being an accident and it being an emergency so it was ok. Tow. Trucks. Are. Not. Emergency. Called in the morning to have someone come put my spare tire on because the tools I need have disappeared somewhere. Gentleman who took my info was very nice and the person scheduled to change my tire came over promptly. As he was starting the process he informed me that there is a special key needed to remove the tires (idk if specific to FJ Cruisers or what) and I had no idea what that was/where it would be. He was patient and helpful while I called around and looked in my car. Luckily I found it and he was able to change the tire. He was very friendly and helpful through the whole process. I would never suggest getting your car towed from this company. They had towed a car which was whatever. I show up to pay the bill for $395 for a 7 mile tow. We go look around the car to see what damages have been done to this vehicle and they had damaged the ENTIRE passenger side of this vehicle. Mind you was never there before! On the slip we were handed to sign states from there company NO prior damages. I called in and let the front desk bitch know and her words to me were "you can pay your bill and pick up your car" or "call the cops" so yes I have called the cops. They have given us advice and numbers to seek legal action for this situation! Total BS. Would never ever recommend this company. They have no professionalism and after reading other reviews this hasn't been the first damaged vehicle. read more

Pro Tow illegally towed my car from street parking not labeled as a tow away zone. I sat on hold with the company for 30 minutes after being greeted by a very rude "I'm putting you on hold". The lady then proceeded to tell me that she could not locate the driver towing my vehicle, told me it would be nearly $500 at the tow yard and hung up on me. The next day, when I arrived at the yard, I asked to inspect my vehicle for damages. They denied my request. When I was finally able to access my vehicle, I found scratches along both sides. I asked for the driver information of the person who towed my car, was given a three digit number and was told if I needed any other information to have my attorney contact them. They would not release the pictures they took of my car, or any other information. They spelled my name wrong on the receipt and would not fix it. I am appalled by the experience I had here. WARNING: IF YOU HAVE USED THIS COMPANY THEY HAD CUSTOMER INVOICES WITH IDENTIFICATION NUMBERS, PAYMENT METHODS, AND VEHICLE INFORMATION SITTING ON A PUBLIC TABLE IN THE MAIN LOBBY. I felt completely taken advantage of by this company. They towed me out of my own apartment complex for parking in front of the office. (It was 10pm, the office was not open, I planned to move my car at 5am, they towed me at 11pm). I called to see how much money it would cost to retrieve my car and was told my total would be 388 dollars and that they only accept cash. I took an Uber to the bank, got 390 dollars out, and then took an Uber ride to the tow lot. When I get there, they tell me it's 443 dollars. And they just magically can't seem to find the person that gave me the wrong amount on the phone. They are about to make me call another cab to get a ride back to the bank and then back to the tow lot. At this point I'm reduced to tears because this whole situation has been completely ridiculous from the get go. The office is also a complete MESS... Trash everywhere and randomly a ton of men's cologne bottles and mouth wash bottles just lying everywhere. Completely unprofessional. Ugh. Pro Tow lost my drive line hardware. They swore they put it in the driver seat and it was no where to be found and they took no responsibility. I asked them repeatedly to come to my vehicle and show me where the parts were; it's been 2 days and they still have not shown up to show me where the parts are. If they had just put the mounting hardware back on the vehicle when they dropped it off, I would not be having this problem. I had called and spoken to a man the last time I used this company a month ago and was very satisfied with their services and timely manner. However, they over charged me $50. So I wanted my credit for that tow and then I wanted another tow. But the woman on the phone was HORRIBLE to speak with. She kept putting me on hold and then told me when she finally came back to the phone for the 3rd time "that I needed to hurry up with my questions." I hadn't even gotten out a hello yet, much less did she even know why I was calling. Obviously, she was already upset about something else. But took it out on me. Bottom line the lady was rude. My experience with Greg's service could have been horrible because the situation was he had my stolen vehicle in his lot and it was going to cost about $2,000.00 to get it back. The car was stolen so long ago that I no longer wanted or needed it. We discussed my paying for a locksmith to make a key for it and then Greg would take it to auction. I would pay the difference if there was still money required to pay some of the 2 grand. Greg told me to hold off and he would call me back. He called me back telling me I would not net a locksmith and that he had found a buyer for the car. All I had to do was sign documents releasing all interests in the vehicle and Greg took it from there. I am so appreciative for his going above and beyond what he had to do! We used these guys after a fender-bender left our son's car unable to be driven. We used AAA and they set up the appointment; saying 45-minutes until someone would be there. They arrived in 35-minutes. The guy was super fast, very friendly, asked my son if he was ok, and got the car to Kadel's for repair. He called and confirmed that he had delivered the car and the key and wished us luck. Ended up in the ditch during a snow storm. No damage to the car, all I asked was pulling it out of there. When it was back on the road, car battery was all drained. All I needed was a jump start. He hurriedly put it on the flatbed and I couldn't stop him from towing it to my place because my phone also died. When we arrived and he said he could put the car into my garage, I wondered how he was gonna do it thru the steep, curved driveway. Voila! He had a jump charger that he didn't tell me. Is it my fault not knowing that tow drivers carry jump chargers? But to me, he deliberately hid it knowing I needed it, in order to make more profit out of me. This company sucks. One of their tow truck drivers cut me off in traffic on Broadway. It was so bad, a major accident would have occurred had I not slammed on my brakes. When I pulled up next to him at the next red light, he looked at me, shrugged and looked away. I took a picture of the truck and called their office when I parked. i called this people to tow my car from my mechanic to my residence. 2 hrs later I called them to find out where my car was and they told me that they had called me 7 times and that they waited an hr for me. never got phone calls from them and they never waited. they pretty much stole my car and took it to their lot. This company is horrible. My insurance company set up the appointment early Friday morning to have the tow truck meet us at 5pm. We arrive at 4:50pm and sat and waited. At 5:15 I called the company to find out when we should expect them. I was placed on hold for at least 5 minutes, then the woman finally came back on the line to say that the driver was almost there. No apology at all for already being 15 min late. Well the driver finally got there at 5:40pm. after sitting there for 20 minutes, he still hadn't done anything but some paperwork. We told him that the mechanic was standing outside waiting for the car and the driver told us no problem, and that we didn't have to follow him over there. So we waited 5 more minutes to watch him get the car hooked up, but after he just sat in his truck for those entire 5 minutes, we gave up and left. We drove about 2 miles away to go to Dick's to buy our son a new bat (25 min approx) then we left there and went to Malibu to the batting cages for him to practice for tryouts (about 30 min) then we left to go home, and our son said "Hey there's our car!" The tow truck driver was JUST taking the car. We called the mechanic apologizing because he was standing out in the rain and it was now 6:45 pm and the car still wasn't delivered to him. So apparently the driver decided to take his dinner break instead of driving the 4 miles to drop off our car first. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. We had a boat and trailer that had a bend wheel dragged onto a flatbed a couple years ago and then had it done and delivered to the trailer shop in a third of the time it took this guy to even get out of his truck! read more

I have had great experience with Pro Tow so far. I was in a crash on Beaverton Hillsdale Highway last week. Pro Tow showed up pretty quickly to get my totaled car out of the road. I talked to the owner (Greg) many times and he gave me some great advice since this was my first accident and I didnt know how to deal with insurance. The case is not yet settled, but I know my car is in a safe and secure location. They even are working with me on the daily storage costs, in case the other insurance does not end up paying. Greg and Shannon are so very friendly!! Even though they close at 5:00pm, they stayed until almost 6;00pm just with me. I got some important belongings out of my old car, I talked with them for a while. And they even fixed the brake light of the car I am borrowing, for free! This is a very friendly, family-feel shop. The managers, owners, tow crew, and its also an auto repair shop and those guys are friendly too. I get so much one-on-one attention there, both with my auto repair needs, and also towing and storage, and just good solid advice. read more

He asked what was wrong, I told him and he asked if he could try starting it. I had tried at least 100 times to get it started, but it started for him.
