My third call was 10mins apart from the last two calls, thinking they probably had someone on the line. But the phone just rings a few times and then bam straight to voicemail. There have been times where I've waited up to three hours in cold Oregon weather for tow trucks to pick up my car. But my experience with Kanak was the complete opposite! These guys are efficient & professional; best experience I've ever had with a towing company! My driver (Marcos) was in constant communication with me from the moment that I called. He gave me accurate, honest ETAs, and notified me once my car arrived at the shop! Our interaction once he got there was easy & cordial. What a great company! Worst case scenario happened to me, a flat tire while getting home from a holiday! My daughter and I were stuck on the side of the road and I contacted Kanak towing. They were so helpful and were able to get a tow truck to sent out to us. Marcos showed up much faster than I had expected on a holiday, and had our tire changed and us back on the road in no time! I am so impressed with Kanak towing, and so excited to have found a towing company in the Tron that isnt trying to take advantage of people at their toughest hour. I just moved to the area from SE Portland and was on my way home when my car overheated. I ran out of gas on a trip to the city. I was on the side of the road, and called road side assistance. They got me in touch with Kanak Towing. The roadside assistance people said it was going to be 45 minutes to and hour. I called the company directly and they got me in touch with the driver, Marcos. I let Marcos know I was on my way to an appointment. He was able to talk to his people and they changed his rout around so he could come help me first. He came and brought gas. He was kind, professional and even gave me directions to get to my appointment with out being late. Thank you to him and the company for understanding my needs. Danny is a life saver!!! I had apparently ran over a piece of metal and unfortunately for me, I used my donut before on another flat tire and kept it out of the car for a few days so I didn't have one to change for this one. I called the towing company and they came in a short amount of time even though there was traffic and was super personable and great to talk to (which is hard to find in a towing company) and he didn't make me feel worse than I already felt about not having the spare with me. He was quick with the whole process of connecting my car and it definitely seemed like he knew what he was doing. The best part was he didn't make it feel like it was just business, he actually wanted to talk to me! Being new to a place and suddenly having your car break down isn't ideal. New to Portland, I was making my way down to Beaverton to explore the area. I'm originally from Vegas so I was hoping to take in the amazing amount of 'green' around me, along with the bridges and lakes. Unfortunately for me, my car decided to put a halt in my plans by suddenly flashing the engine light on like some sort of Christmas decoration and came to a slow stop. I'm not to car savvy, being a 21 year old who's dad fixed everything for me, I had to figure something out for myself. I scrolled through options for towing, and came across Kanak Towing. I called and was greeted by Danny. I told him my situation (and tried not to sound too anxious giving the fact I was alone in a place I didn't know to well with my car being seemingly dead), and he told me he'd be on his way shortly. I've had awful encounters with other towing companies, so I didn't really know what to expect with Kanak Towing. Right away they were super friendly and helpful. I was on my way to school and I somehow got a flat tire. I did not want to be late, but I knew I had to deal with it.
