We are so happy we found Alex for our bathroom remodel (and more). We recently bought a home and…read morerealized after moving in that the bathroom really needed to be re-done due to poor work by a previous "remodel". We asked Alex to replace the tub, remove the shower surround and tile it, tile the floor, paint the walls and ceiling, install new light over the vanity, new vanity, new exhaust fan, and new toilet along with built in shelves in the bathroom walls. Also, we asked him to repaint all the ceilings in the home, install a new ceiling fan and light fixtures, new kitchen sink, and some other small tasks. He even put together a new metal shed that had approximately 1,000,000 parts for us, a task I know was difficult! If that doesn't sound like enough, Alex encountered some very bad plumbing along the way, and had to redo some floor joists and support structure, and some wall stuff to get it right for the new work. He did an awesome job problem solving, and making it all correct underneath, not just the surface level. He always asked for input when needed on decisions, but also provided his opinion to help us make the right decision. He also solved problems without stressing us out about them unnecessarily. Our small home feels like a new home thanks to his work with his teammate. The bathroom looks amazing and feels spa like, which is a far cry from how it was before Alex. We were very stressed and worried about getting this job done right, and Alex was such a pleasure to have do it for us. He got it done right, it looks great, he communicated well, rolled with changes or additions to the work we requested as we went along, and was done right when he projected. We are so happy with him that we've scheduled him to come back in 2 weeks to do our kitchen backsplash. He didn't balk when we ran into problems and the work scope got bigger. He worked from the time he arrived, till the time he left. We barely knew he was here! I swear, I don't think he ever took a break! Now, let's talk about his craftsmanship.... This guy is a perfectionist! And it comes through on the details. He clearly has the highest of standards and work ethic! European standards are high! It's SO REFRESHING!!! Yurii is by far the best contractor we have worked with in WNC. For instance my bathroom was a converted front porch done by a previous owner some 50 years ago. So we faced the challenge of original windows, exterior walls on all sides, original sloped floors and ceilings. I must say I am completely blown away by the quality of work and attention to detail that has been given to my bathroom. I will admit the job I have is a tall order as I wanted all new windows, the shower surround replaced with tile, the floor to continue from the tile in my kitchen and backsplash around the vanity. The bathroom floor leveled and new lighting. I've had other work done to my house before and for once I've gotten what I paid for.
