Their grade falls off hard after payment and initial countertop layout has been done. They were terrible at communications for a problem they created. Clearly the departments there don't talk to one another very well. Phone calls back from anyone was like pulling teeth. Missed an install date because their truck broke down. Finish work, corners, joints sink cutout......a B! They got creative with an incorrect cut and hole that was drilled wrong, but they made it workout. Overall we got lucky but when your talking 7-10K in granite....I'd look at other dealers and read reviews.

My wife and I were approached to do a Designer Showcase project in historic downtown…read moreHendersonville, NC. During the project (which had a tight time table and required hard dates in order to make the opening happen on time for ticket purchasers), we approached Stone Connection and the granite yard about the project. We selected granite slabs (2) and paid in full with a firm schedule for fabrication of the granite counter tops. The slabs were transferred to Stone Connection where they were held until fabrication was to begin. One week prior to the fabrication date, Stone Connection demanded another $780 or they refused to complete the contract. We objected and cited the contract terms. Their response was that they would not honor the contract unless we agreed to the extra amount - and they were fully paid and in custody of our stone. We attempted to find another fabricator but with only one week, no way to recover our money without litigation, and no granite since they were in possession of our slabs, we had no choice but to pay their ransom fee. I would highly recommend that no one use this company and that they not pay for anything prior to work being completed.
