To be very honest, if I could give this place no stars I would.
My husband and I decided to get massages, and to our disappointment the place that we normally go to was not accepting walk ins. We decided to try this place after eating dinner at Rockin' Crawfish, and boy do I wish we would've just went home instead.
Although, he and I were able to get situated in a room fairly quickly, the experience itself was terrible. The woman, who we met in the front escorted us to a room that had 3 beds. I thought it was weird that there were two massage beds and a small one on the side. Why? She asked for the money upfront, and said that she would return with the change. The only weird thing about it, was that she wanted to return after we were undressed and under the covers so my poor husband had to hold onto the money in his hand the whole massage. It was an awkward experience, we didn't trust that our money was just left out on top of our clothes, for reasons mentioned later.
The massage itself was painful. I didn't know if it was because maybe my back was really bad or if the masseuse just didn't know what she was doing. There was a moment in time where they left the room, and as I lifted my head to check on my husband, he lifted his too and confirmed that he wasn't having a fun experience himself. I found it weird that the masseuse would sit down on the bed with me and massage my arms while sitting down next to me. She completely ignored massaging my right arm while I was on my chest, and I'm not sure why. It's not a big deal because overall the massage was painful, but it was just strange. Even when she pulled on my fingers it hurt, like as she pulled she pinched hard at my tips. I heard the masseuse bang on my husband, only to find out afterwards that he hated it because he felt like she was trying to beat on him, especially on the head. They had no rhythm and were overall rough on our poor bodies.
Not only that, when my masseuse was done massaging me, she lifted up my covers to where it exposed my body and walked out the door leaving it open for other people to walk by and see me! My husband had to close the door for me so that I could get up discreetly and get dressed! I couldn't believe it.
And just like the other reviewers on yelp, while we were getting ready to leave his masseuse asked for a tip. She pretty much stopped us from leaving out the door and held her hand out for a tip. I was so appalled that she had the courage to ask for a tip for the poor service her and her colleague performed on us. It is extremely unprofessional and just made our experience even more horrible. It looks as if the problem has not been corrected since other yelp reviewers had this problem with this company prior to our visit. It's such a shame and a scam that they are able to call themselves masseuse and run a store that provides relaxation. Nonetheless, my husband still tipped them and I can assure you he and I will never step foot into their building ever again, and I would urge you to stay away from them as well. Customers are complaining about the same thing we've experienced, and they are doing nothing to better their business. He and I woke up the next day completely sore.
Never ever again. read more
