Like many others on this yelp chain, I have been coming to this place for a decade. It has recently…read morechanged to "Ripple Spa" and apparently it's under new management. The woman, her daughter, and her dog were there. The dog was very loud and barked a lot. Apparently I led the charge because when I got there, there was no one - and in the matter of the hour, I counted four people coming in, and I stopped counting at six interruptions in my massage when she had to go and answer the phone, talk to people in the lobby, get people settled in another room. And every time she answered the phone she told people to come down because it's not busy.... I could have forgiven all of that, and I might have even come back because historically the price has been right. The $50 massage, $10 tip, not bad for someone with no Massage training. But when I was leaving, she stopped me and asked me for $30 tip. She pointed to a new sign that they have that says that a good massage is $20 tip and a great massage is $30... and I'm wondering why would I pay 60% on a substandard massage that was interrupted 6+ times... I leave both excellent and not so excellent reviews here. Unfortunately, today was not so excellent. Would definitely not recommend because you'll be incredibly disappointed, if not incensed! :(

The lady was nice. However, I was never asked what pressure I would like. I ended up getting a 1hr…read morehot stone massage for $80. At first she was too rough so I asked to go medium. It felt like she was just going through the motions. Not really hitting the right spots. The quality of the massage did not match the price. My experience was worth $50-$60 if that. It was cold in the room but I noticed they had a small space heater in the room which helped. Until I heard someone come in. She stopped the massage to help them then proceeded to unplug and take the space heater out to put in another room I'm guessing. Which I'm sure it took up some of my massage time. As we finished she left the room and I got my things together and started to walk out. I saw her helping someone as I was leaving and she stopped me to ask for a tip. Although I feel like the massage didn't deserve one, I tipped her a little because she asked.... Almost a week has passed now and I have already had 2 strains in my back. I am 25, this does not happen. She really fucked up my back. I love to support small businesses but in my opinion, if you are going to be in the holistic healing field....make sure you know what you're doing.

We came here for our first ever Chinese foot massage. It's 20 dollars for an hour but we…read moreunderstand the rule is to tip at least five dollars so we both tipped 7.50 (15 dollar total tip). The facility is clean and professional. Many rooms are private. Couples can get their couple's room with two massage chairs that turn out to be just regular big leather chairs that are uncomfortable for petite people. My therapist was named Aaron. She was really nice. She gave me a back massage before and after my foot massage! She really knows those sore trigger points in the back so I might come back for a full body 45 dollar massage but I already have five massage certificates from another business. They start off with bathing your feet in hot herbal water in pretty wood buckets lined with plastic. That was relaxing. The foot massage entailed a great deal of stretching and slapping/punching movements. There were some "acupressure" work done and I enjoyed that part the most. The chair they use is really not designed for massages so it's very awkward and the first back massage was not that great because I was slouching down and Aaron had little space to move around since the room hardly fit the four of us. When she had me lie face down, she did some nice back work but there is no hole to put your face in so I had to put my entire face on the back of the leather chair which was awkward and they didn't put a towel on the chair so I'm worried about hygiene. Who else put their face on this part of their leather chair? They worked the entire time and it's definitely a good deal for an hour of relaxation-- my feet does feel better and the massage was not painful just uncomfortable because of the chair. I personally enjoyed it but I did learn that this kind of massage just isn't what I'm looking for (the chair here is way too big for a petite person). However, I have no doubt that Aaron knows her trigger points and these ladies do work hard to please so I wouldn't hesitate to come back for a full back massage. My hubby would like their foot massage again.

If you have an RSI and want to get rid of it, this is the place for you! One thing that surprised me is she didn't do any work on my feet. It is possible this was because she was paying lots of attention to my arms. Still, feet are important and a good way to end the massage. The cost for an hour is $45, which seems to be the going rate in this part of town. Also, if you google this business, it will come up as offering Adult or Erotic Services. This business is strictly not that kind of massage service.

Overall my massage was good, the only complaint on the massage was I believe my masseuse had nails…read moreand they were sharp and would at time dig into my skin causing slight plain and discomfort. My biggest gripe is when it can down to pay I owed $120 for two people getting an hour massage and as I was paying and writing the tip I decided $10 for each masseuse would be good since it's slightly above the industry standard of 15%. And let's not forget that a tip is just that, a tip which is optional. I paid them what was due and some. But they were pressuring me saying how they usually get $20 each for an hour massage after I had already written $20 in the tip and $140 for the total. They kept saying how they USUALLY get $20 each for masseuse but they must not understand what the word usually means. It means most the time and that this time they weren't gonna get that and i wasn't going to budge because I couldn't believe they had the nerve, gall, and audacity to tell me how to spend my money especially on an optional portion when I could've gave nothing. Had it not been for my wife offering to cover the extra $20 I would've left them upset. So in the end I had to scratch out the tip and total I wrote so that they could shutup and accept the tip they preferred and requested. It's also very brave and presumptuous to assume I had the extra $20 to spare. And if I paid you're price you can't expect or ask for more tip especially when $20 is 1/3rd of the $60 price point which is a 33.3% tip which I would never imagine giving out. And if I couldn't afford the extra money and I was giving what I could they should be grateful for that. And if I didn't have the tip amount they wanted it's never any business's business to know my personal affairs as that could be rude, traumatizing, and very invasive. All that to say I enjoyed my massage for the most part but won't be returning due to their pushy nature regarding an optional portion of my bill. Please do better!!

I am supposed to have the hip replaced in October. I decided to try a massage just to see if it would help me walk better. I went in for an hour massage and was lucky enough to get Lina. She concentrated on the knee and hip, as requested, but did the full body massage so I was totally relaxed. When she was finished my leg felt 100% better and my limp was almost gone. The results were amazing, so good I booked 90 minutes a week later. Once again, Lina did her magic and my hip and knee pain continued to decrease. My limp getting better and the aches at night diminishing. Today was my 4th time with Lina, this time 2 hours. I am walking without a limp and considering canceling the hip replacement surgery. Lina is a true professional. If you need/want a truly great massage do your self a favor and book 60-90 minutes with Lina. You'll be glad you did.
