The waiting area is the nicest I have ever seen and has some soft drinks, a Keurig, and lollipops for the kids. It smells amazing, is nicely decorated, and has comfortable seating. The staff is very friendly. From my chat with them, they don't do body work or transmission rebuilds (but will do replacement). I am not speaking to the quality of their work since I'm not familiar with anything beyond the inspection, but would absolutely get a quote from them if it means I can sit here and get some work done!

I am very happy with my first experience with Baker's Spring Valley Automotive…read more I recently found myself in a situation where I needed to make a long road trip unexpectedly. The problem came from there being some maintenance on my vehicle that I had not yet gotten to, and yet I wanted it done before I embarked on a twelve hundred mile journey. I had inquired at the garage who normally does my maintenance and they could not get me in for a few days and that would have been too late. I spoke with Baker's and they assured me they could not only get the work done the same day, but could also have it down in a few hours. They did the work and my truck performed beautifully on the trip! The Thank You to the wonderful team at Baker's Spring Valley, I really appreciate you guys! -Your Newest Customer!

I researched several places and it became such a chore. I'm a proactive type of person vs. reactive and wanted everything checked and serviced at a reasonable and fair price. With AI and Google is becoming increasingly more difficult to get scammed. I didn't do what I usually do with requesting the old parts that were removed from the car but I figured with the paperwork and warranty that I'd be okay. Overall it was a Fantastic experience. I was on the fence with two of the repairs and the discussions I had with them, I chose not to do one of them since I'm not the owner of the car. They explained it could wait age I cos give her the option to move forward with the others. Yes, I paid a pretty penny but they were fair, fast, and detailed. Is definitely used then again and recommend them to my friends in the DFW area.

Sounds too good to be true. It probably is!…read more Car needed an alternator put in. Chloe gave me a verbal quote cheaper than the chain repair shop and said she could get it done today. Just bring it over this morning and we will have it done by 5:00. Sounds like a small locally owned shop that you want to support and do business with right? Quick service and good price! Well, when I dropped the car off at 10:30 she confirmed 5:00 today. At 4:30 I called to see if it was done and she said it's going to take a little longer than I thought but it will be done today. At 5:30 I stopped by and they still hadn't gotten the old one out yet. She said its more complex than I thought but we will get it done before we go home. The car was finally ready at 9:30 pm so I guess give them credit for staying late (ie 2 stars and not 1). On the way home I stopped to get the alternator checked at autozone and they pointed out that the wire to the alternator wasn't even hooked up so it wasn't working properly. So I came home and had to finish the job myself. If it sounds too good to be true. It probably is. So do yourself a favor. Pay the extra money and go somewhere else!!! PS. No written quote, they don't take CC.

I will continue to do business here and recommend this place. FYI - the location is a bit hard to find at first. Look for the green canopy and the G&M sign. It's right before you reach Krispy Kreme.

Unfortunately, my recent experience under the new ownership and management has been completely different. I took my car in for what should have been a routine oil change, and that was the beginning of a series of problems. After the service, I started experiencing issues with my vehicle that I had never experienced before. It was extremely frustrating and disappointing to see a business I had trusted for more than two decades provide such a poor level of service. I contacted the new owner to explain the problems I was having. He told me he was busy helping other customers and said he would call me back. Unfortunately, he never did. That lack of follow-up and professionalism was especially disappointing after being a loyal customer for so many years. I am extremely frustrated with this experience and, sadly, I will not be returning to Metro Champion. It is unfortunate to see the level of service and professionalism decline so significantly after more than 20 years of trusting this shop with my vehicles.
