The salon was clean, inviting, and the prices were clearly posted. I will definitely be coming back!

Our nail techs, Tracy, Ruby, Lynn, and Lily, everyone made us feel very welcome and did a great job we all had mani pedis and some of us had gel. My daughter even had flowers painted and my son felt like he had a brand new set of fresh nails. Thank you Noelle. You are the best! Came here today 5/16/2023 to get natural looking almond/round shaped gel x nails. I know how to do…read moremy own gel x nails but decided to get them done by someone else because I'm lazy and I'm about to go on vacation. Booked with Annette I believe? Not sure who I got as I booked on Instagram & they didn't tell me shit LOL Anyways, the girl I had was not easy to talk to. Sensed a vibe from her and I did not like it. So, I just didn't make conversation. A few things I didn't like: - She cut me a few times with the cuticle cutter/nail drill machine and didn't say anything - I told her the lamp is burning my finger and she said it's "normal" (burning is not normal.. she shaved down my natural nails wayyy too much and caused me to burn under the lamp) - I told her beforehand my nails are crooked & she STILL put the gel x on crooked (she even tried to tell me "I don't know who told you your nails are crooked but they're not") - My nails are pointed upwards rather than straight out like how real nails should look like I'm not a licensed nail technician but I learned how to do my own nails (plus my mom does nails) and this is basic common sense... &Since my moms been through it, I tend to tip big when I get my nails done but I just felt she didn't deserve a big tip. I still tipped her tho, don't get me wrong. Just not as much as I could've due to the service she gave me. Overall, probably not going to come back but if I do I am NOT going back to her. Most likely not tho as first impressions play a big role in choosing a nail salon ‍ *** Edit: Same day but later in the evening. *** So they messaged me on Instagram after reading my review and said they take feedback very seriously. Brownie points imo! They took the time to message me and were very professional and respectful about it. She even asked if I'd want to come in again and I'd be personally taken care of by someone else but I declined as I'm leaving for vacay tomorrow. Overall, amazing hospitality! Will probably try this place again! Bumping it up from 1 star to 4 stars just because they took the time to message me.

I have been coming to this nail salon for years, and for the most part I've had good experiences…read more The nail technicians here are very talented, especially when it comes to nail art and intricate designs. Unfortunately, my experience today was one of the worst I've had. I went in for a pedicure and initially asked the technician to apply nail stickers to my toes. She advised against it since I wasn't getting gel polish, which I understood and agreed with. Instead, I asked if she could paint my toenails a darker pink and simply add a small heart design. I believe there was a miscommunication because the technician told me to wait, but she never returned. My toenails were left with only clear polish, and I waited approximately 15-20 minutes before realizing no one was coming back. At that point, I had to leave. Before leaving, I calmly explained to the owner that I believed there had been a misunderstanding. I told her I had explained what I wanted to the technician, but there may have been a language barrier. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, I was asked why I didn't say something sooner, even though I had already explained the situation. I felt the responsibility was shifted onto me rather than the salon taking accountability for the miscommunication. The owner then asked me to come back later that day so they could finish my pedicure. I rearranged my schedule, picked up my son, and returned to the salon. Having to come back was already an inconvenience, but I wanted to give them the opportunity to make it right. This time, I again requested a darker pink polish with a simple heart and a few polka dots. After the service was completed, I was surprised to be charged an additional fee for the design. Considering I had to return because my original service was left unfinished due to the salon's mistake, I don't believe it was appropriate to charge me extra. What disappointed me most wasn't the design fee itself--it was how the situation was handled. There was no ownership of the mistake, I was made to feel responsible for the miscommunication, I had to return to have the service completed, and then I was charged extra for the correction. I've been a loyal customer for years, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Good customer service isn't about never making mistakes it's about taking responsibility and making things right when they happen. Unfortunately, I don't feel that happened here, and because of this experience, I can no longer recommend this salon if this is how customer concerns are handled.
