I wanted to like Glamour Nails because the salon itself was clean, but unfortunately the experience…read morewas just average. The pedicure felt rushed, and the technicians seemed more focused on talking with each other than paying attention to our feet or the service they were providing. It wasn't terrible, but it definitely wasn't the relaxing, attentive experience I expected. The biggest issue, though, was the tipping situation. Both my friend and I paid with $20 bills and each asked for change. At separate times, our technicians each attempted to keep the entire $20 and walk away without bringing change. We both had to ask again before they finally returned with two $10 bills, which essentially forced us into leaving a $10 tip unless we wanted to ask for change yet again. It felt uncomfortable and, honestly, intentional. I always tip well for good service, but tips should be based on the quality of the experience--not on making customers feel pressured or manipulated. Because of that experience, I don't plan on returning.

I've been coming to Holly's Nails for 4 years, and this was by far the worst experience I've had. I…read morehad an appointment, but I felt completely rushed through my service. The technician spent more time talking to another customer than paying attention to my nails. He rushed me to wash my hands and then was still trying to file my nails while I was standing at the counter getting ready to pay. I showed a reference photo of exactly what I wanted, but the final result looked nothing like it. The French tips are extremely thick, wide, and uneven instead of thin and natural. The shape is inconsistent, and the overall set looks rushed and unfinished. The white tips are so bulky that they look unnatural and distract from the entire manicure. To make matters worse, this was the most expensive set I've ever gotten there. After being a loyal customer for 4 years, I expected much better service, attention to detail, and professionalism. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I left unhappy with both the service and the quality of the nails.
