My friend and I made appointments for 2 regular pedicures. Definitely recommend making an appointment as they seem busy. We both did the scrub pedicures which were $49, and each pedicure comes up with complimentary drink which is nice. I got a diet coke. My nail tech was so good, it was relaxing and she did a great job. The salon itself is nice and neat. Only thing would suggest is higher backs to the chairs where you sit for your nails to dry cause you can't lean back since the back rest is too short. I love the color we picked too! read more

Tried Wei's for the first time today for a pedicure. From the moment I walked in the door, it was rushed and decidedly NOT relaxing or welcoming. Noisy music and a semi-chaotic atmosphere. My nail technician was sullen and did not give me her name or provide any information as to the process. I could barely understand her when she spoke, and she became even ruder when I asked her to repeat things. If you want a pleasant, relaxing experience, go elsewhere! I will not go back. read more

I have been a client since Wei's opened a couple of years ago and am sorry to say the salon is not being maintained very well. It is dirty and smells of plumbing or septic issues. The pedicure chairs are worn out and the personal attention I expected is missing. The background music was annoyingly loud and the technicians wore stained aprons. The grime on the chair side tables and massage remotes was disgusting. Two Technicians in a back corner were carrying on a private moment. Even the vibe indicated to me that Wei's has lots of issues. Zoe always does such an amazing job. She's very talented. I gave her an idea and she went with it and made it her own. I go here monthly and the staff is just superb. Everything is so chill beautiful soft music. There's no nail salon smell if you know what I mean. read more

my nails lasted 4 weeks (got the gel x). Had a newer nail tech who was super respectful and friendly to me. Everyone was very welcome to me and I felt comfortable. Only side note is that when I arrive, their appointment system was down so I wasn't able to confirm my appointment, but that didn't matter since they immediately accommodated! I had a gel manicure and pedicure with Ken today and he did amazing. The atmosphere is pretty chill with spa like music and very clean. The color selection for gel was definitely minimal compared to most salons. The book I was handed with all the colors had a page and a half I'd say to choose from. It made my decision easier but I'm definitely used to more of a selection. Overall it was a good experience and I will be back! read more

I would not come here again. The massage chair I was sat in was broken... the massage function was inoperable and the back of the chair had an uncomfortable lump in it. There were many other chairs that could have been used, and there was no offer to move me. The place was dirty and there were used napkins and a straw wrapper on the arm rest where they put a bottle of water for me to drink. I'm not sure if the "hot stones" were cleaned from previous use, and they were neither hot nor used to do any kind of massage, just briefly scratched over my legs. The smell was sulfurous and gross, and not like the usual overwhelming smell of nail polish remover. The guy who did my pedicure was cheerful enough, but he talked through the whole thing (to other staff members) until it was time to paint my nails... and the quality of the pedicure was mediocre at best, and barely lasted 15 minutes from start to finish. Oh, and the hot towel to put on my legs was so hot I cried out for him to remove it!! All together, not worth a repeat... and not worth the cost of the most basic pedicure. read more

I get my nails done at Wei's with Anna most of the time. I always get gel for my natural nails and there are times when I go back for GelX when I'm not ready to cut because one or two nails break. She is super friendly and takes her time with every set, granted I only do solid colors but she is so lovely! Everyone at Wei's is friendly and accommodating. The only thing that is keeping this from a 5-star is that there is usually a wait even on appointments. I am always willing to wait but just wish it wouldn't exceed 10+ minutes. The price for add ons may be too much for some but again, I don't usually do anything beyond french or chrome. Overall, it's my go to in CVille! read more

I had a terrible experience. I came here upon a few friends' recommendations to get my wedding nails done. It's a beautiful salon but the service was terrible. The woman doing my toenails spoke very limited English and so when I tried to explain what color I wanted she kept bringing the wrong colors and got increasingly upset with me for trying to find the right color, until she was shouting at others in her language and disappeared. Eventually someone (seemingly a manager) stepped in and helped me, told me the initial nail tech gave me the wrong color book to begin with and they didn't have the colors I wanted. They did give me a 5% discount for being a bride, but that didn't make up for it being a complete opposite of a relaxing experience. read more

Wei's nail and spa is my favorite place to get my nails done in Charlottesville. They are always very diligent, and my nails last 3+ weeks with gel! It's easy to get an appointment. Additionally, the pedicure scrub is very luxurious! It's a great location right next to a great grocery store and antique shop, too! read more

if you were looking for Kris to give you his usual awesome job, you will be sadly disappointed. New owner....sub par. They are in the process of creating a wine bar and nail salon but that may be to get you to ignore the fact that they don't replace your acrylic when it's lifting off. My typical fill and polish would easily last three weeks, I'm at day 8 and can see substantial lift on the two nails they refused to replace, and I would have paid extra. read more
