I expected the same for a pedicure. The man was too tough with the sponge grater and I ended up getting a bad ingrown toe nail. I did appreciate the massage but he could have been more gentle. I am not deleting my review, but I will update my review and I ended up getting a refund. Maybe it was the nail tech or maybe the reviews are fake. The tech was very nice and did confirm the color and nail shape. When she was using certain drills, she was hurting and cutting my skin hence the bleeding on my nail bed. Mind you, I do not think they are cleaning their drills properly because you can see how I bled. I did not get cuticle oil or lotion on my hands. I've gotten $30 manicures at other salons and they at least put cuticle oil on my nails. I shouldn't have to request that, it should be given. My nails are pretty and I do like them. But I wouldn't recommend coming here for gel x nails. This was my first time getting gel x nails and it made me not want to experience this again.

Messy edges, color didn't start near cuticle, and there are bumps and bubbles in the actual polish. Finger bled during service and the woman who did my nails had long, jagged nails herself and dug them into the side of my fingers while doing my nails. It was overall a painful experience. Ends of my nails are rough and have been catching on fabric. Also paid $15 more than I expected (prices rose which I get, but this is NOT a $40 manicure). Decent enough place, bad technician.
