I typically go to another salon in the area but this place was closer to home. I paid $70 plus a tip. i noticed right away that they seemed sharper than usual and real thin on the tips. It is now 4 days later and 4 of my nails have chipped. I have never had this problem where I usually go. They are chipped bad enough that i had to clip them short so it looks pretty janky. Someone new took one look at my manicure, and ended up redoing the whole thing. Looks much better! They were kind and apologetic and fixed the situation. Went to the newer location by Applebees a few hours ago - I had a fantastic experience last time but not so much this time. Messy edges, color didn't start near cuticle, and there are bumps and bubbles in the actual polish. Finger bled during service and the woman who did my nails had long, jagged nails herself and dug them into the side of my fingers while doing my nails. It was overall a painful experience. Ends of my nails are rough and have been catching on fabric. Also paid $15 more than I expected (prices rose which I get, but this is NOT a $40 manicure). Decent enough place, bad technician.
