Northland has baby items, seasonal decorations, knickknacks, garden items, health & beauty supplies, craft supplies, picnic items, artificial flowers, hardware, auto supplies, and even greeting cards and wrapping paper. The prices are very reasonable for closeout items that make up its stock (and rotated frequently) and during certain times of the year you can get the seasonal items on clearance. If you decide to visit, give yourself plenty of time, as there's too much to see in one visit.

The store can be overwhelming with all the choices and brands. I do agree wIth a past review, upon checking out they tend to be very pushy on you taking out their credit card and they just don't accept no thank you. I've never been thoroughly impressed, but I at least left there with what I needed and without conflict. The new Sally Beauty in Plover is in a severe need of management and employee make over. Every time I've been here (about 6) they're in the back room chatting, and act annoyed they have to make an appearance in the shop. The Manager always seems frazzled and stressed, and does nothing to up here to the appearance and customer satisfaction of the shop. I was told they hire cosmetologists to work here. To be honest, I can see why they don't work in actual salons. They're rude, and ill informed about the products they sell here. It took me almost 5 minutes to explain to an employee what a toner was, and the difference between a semi-permanent and permanent hair color. Mainly, their attitudes suck. I will be buying me products from a different supplier online from now on. I'd rather pay the extra shipping than go back in here.
