I recently used Pro Klean for my condo in milford. Let me tell how wonderful it was dealing with them. They handled everything from the minute I got them involved to the very end. John C at the office , Harold project manager and Lisa at the office were such a pleasure to deal with. Honestly I can't thank them enough for taking care me. My situation was very complicated because the pipe in behind the bathroom walls bursted and water was coming from the walls and since it's a condo unit it makes it even more difficult... Before getting pro klean involved I was having so much difficulty dealing with multiple parties condo association, plumber, insurance company etc.. Thank God I got pro klean involved because they dealt with everyone and kept me in the loop about everything also they expedited everything to get my issue resolved as soon as possible. Please, DO NOT USE ProKlean, look elsewhere. Two and a half years after they repaired our house from a tree falling on it we are still finding subpar and unsafe work issues. Paint stated to peel within months of moving back in. The dishwasher was installed crooked and the bottom cabinet pieces fell off immediately. ProKlean actually left the kitchen unfinished (even though contracted to do it) with the new sink left in the garage. We had to hire an outside contractor to install the sink and faucet as well as all the countertops. The bathroom light was installed upside down. It works, however, had it had been hung correctly it wouldn't need constant cleaning out due to the light bulb covers facing up catching dust and such. Proklean also never finished the attic. Insulation was left exposed in many places despite our request for them buy extra plywood sheets that we would pay for. Today, March 20, 2026, while rearranging some of the boxes containing our things they left in the attic, we discovered that the wood support beams installed during the repair had nails sticking out and exposed on one side. An injury almost occurred due to this nail exposure. The garage door opener keypad stopped working within a year. The original, working one, had to be replaced by them because it got broken apart by the workers haphazard in and out of the garage. It was replaced with a generic one that lasted about three days. We had to insist they put another new one on that was the same as the one the workers had broken. The door not opening might also be that the motor for it seems to have been shoddily repaired with electrical tape. The whole process was a nightmare. We would stop by sometimes to see the progress and would find that their workers didn't even know what was going on. All they could say was that they had to call their boss. Doors and windows were continually left open and unlocked after the workers left, leaving rooms at the mercy of the elements and or wildlife. Three plate glass windows were broken during the repair which we then had to harp about to get replaced. The tarps put on the roof were so inadequate it leaked throughout the house. We are now having to keep our prayers up for the new roof which was installed. The front lawn also got deeply torn up during a delivery of either siding or wood. The driver drove the truck across the front lawn and parked in front of the bay window leaving such deep ruts in its path that ProKlean had to have it reseeded. The shoddy, subpar and unsafe repairs on the house are just shy of criminal. It may have been subcontractors who did the damage and inferior work, however, they were hired by ProKlean. Our insurance company paid for all billed repairs in a timely fashion with no issues. We now deeply regret our choice of ProKlean for the house repairs and having them paid for such a disastrous job done. read more

We had Pro-Klean work on our home when water damaged our bathroom and kitchen ceiling. They re-tiled the bathroom floor, painted the walls, and installed a new toilet and vanity. They also repaired the kitchen ceiling, first taking down all the cupboards and re-installing them afterwards like nothing had ever happened. We were worried about the kitchen cabinets in case they were damaged during all of this, but they're all back up and you'd never know there was a problem! The workers were professional and friendly and they always kept us informed of what was going on. I would recommend Pro-Klean to anyone. read more

This company is the worst, they can not finish anything they start and they have screwed up other peoples work in the process.

The workers were not consistent in their work hours. Sometimes would not show up before noon, although informing us they would be there by 8, holding us much of my day. My husband observed one of the workers urinating on the side of our house, that was an issue for me. Also then did the majority of cutting the materials in our garage, it was like an obstacle course maneuvering around their debris. I finally asked them to move the stuff after I injured my leg, inquired why their was no dumpster and the response was they didn't need one, even though I was told there would be one. Once the job was finally done, the trash sat outside on front of my house for an additional 6 days. Very embarrassing for us. The thing most upsetting to us was during the work in the garage the workers unplugged my deep freezer unbeknownst to us. Several weeks later we noticed a horrible order in the garage. Hundreds of dollars of meats spoiled. The job itself was OK. We did have to call them back because the toilet was leaking, a door knob was put on backwards and a few minor things. They placed paint brushes on a glass patio table and left the mess. The guys were courteous but my experience was not one that left a good tast in my mouth​ read more

Listen to the reviews on Yelp. They're accurate. The lack of communication among themselves (let alone you) is unbelievable and cost me a month in getting the damage fixed. Luckily I paid attention to the many red flags and cut them loose before I totally lost my mind dealing with them. read more

Probably the worst company we have ever worked with, a project that was meant to take 4 to 6 weeks, is now in month 8 - communication with the company is awful, they never reach out to us we always have to call them to find out what is going on (we have had them schedule contractors to come in (so they say) but the contractors never turn up (once I can see but it has happened 5 or 6 times now)) or when they do show up they only do half the work we were told they were going to do because they weren't told to do it (seems like a pattern here with communication). The subcontractors they hire do extremely substandard work and has to be redone, they also managed to crack a propane valve causing a gas leak, beer cans left in the yard after they left (yes they were drinking on the job), deep scratches in wooden floor, put a hole in a door, put up a cabinet but didn't secure it to the wall so it fell out. Would I recommend them to anyone - no way but I would recommend that you stay away from this company. read more

If I had a choice between sawing my arm off and using Pro-Klean for any restoration jobs, I would saw my arm off. I wish I read the reviews before allowing my insurance company to refer us to Pro-Klean. We had roof damage and as a result, our ceiling was damaged from it. We replaced our roof so that we could finally replace our ceiling. From start to finish, the whole process was stressful and aggravating. First off, they kept changing the amount we had to pay them, they never notated our account, no one ever knew what exactly needed to be done at our house. One of the things we needed was a joist so that they could put the new ceiling back up, they knew about this from the beginning. Not only did we let one of their employees know that was working on the project know of this, that same employee came to our house and seemed suprised that we needed to add the joist, he obviously didn't do any work that day and left. When he was suppose to come back to put up the joist, he was a no call / no show. My husband took time off from work that day because he didn't want him to be there unless he was there. When we procceded to let Darth Vader ( Lisa ) in the office know this, she stated she had no idea that we needed a joist until the second time the said employee came to our house which is a lie but this goes back to the fact that they never took any notes whatsoever. Another issue we had was that Darth Vader ( Lisa ) was always rude and difficult. There was not one phone call between her and I where she was plesant. There were three different crews that came to the house. The first crew was responsible for the tear down of the celing and insulation was absolutely wonderful. The second crew in charge of removing the mold, however, were absolutely atrocious. First off, they bumped into one our painting in the hall next to bathroom and didn't put it back the way they left it. Someone left their dirty glove on our sinks ( it was probably the same person who pooped in our bathroom and got poop on our bathroom wall). Yes, they got poop on our wall. There was an empty water bottle in our yard and a bag of some kind of junk food wrapper also in our yard im between our plants When I told Darth Vader ( Lisa ) this, she said sorry because you know, she wouldn't of done anything more to take money out of their pocket. When the third crew came to put the ceiling back up, it was a s@#$ show. At one point, they were supposed to come do some of the work to the ceiling, they didn't show up, when they finally came back and we asked them where they were and why they didn't show up, they stated that Pro-Klean didn't pay them, not suprised. When they finally came back and put the celing back up, they got drywall dust everywhere, it looked like we had a snow storm in my house. They not only got dust on my living room floor, they got it on my appliances, my breakfast bar, my counters, my front door, etc. They never cleaned up after they finished the job(s). I had to and still have been cleaning up after them, finally finished cleaning up everything recntly. When they repainted the kitchen, they got paint on my kitchen floor and my kitchen walls. They also got paint on my hallway and hallway closet door. When they used our hose, they never put it back. When they took down our ceiling fan and it came time to put the ceiling fan back, they asked my husband if he wanted them to put it back up. "No, we want the ceiling fan to stay on the ground". When they finally put the ceiling fan back up, they left. When they left and I came home later that day to turn on the ceiling fan light, it didn't work, they wired it backwards. They either tested it to see if it was working, didn't tell us and left or didn't test it ar all. I wouldn't put it past them to test it and leave. So, of course we refused to give them anymore money till they fixed the ceiling fan. At this point we were beyond fed up and done with them. After we told them they won't receive anymore money and to stop having your billing department harass us about money that we obviously owed them, they wanted to have their electrician come to our house when we weren't there of course and fix it. We told them no, you will come when we are home, we don't trust that he will do the job right and not steal our stuff. The guy came and fixed the ceiling fan. Eveytime we turned around, there was more money they were asking for out of nowhere. The contract amounts never added up right and the gave us 4-5 different contracts when they were capable of just adding everything on one contract and doing it as a line item with notes for everything. I will say this, they did a good job with the ceiling and the kitchen paint job but it just doesn't excuse all the negative stuff they did. If your insurance company suggest them to do your ceiling restoration, run as far as you can, they are crooks. read more

Honestly if I could give zero stars I would. Awful experience. They promised us in the beginning that they would handle everything with our insurance company and that did not happen whatsoever. Communication was a huge issue and lots of misinformation was given. The few times I was actually able to get through to John, he always had an attitude and could not clearly communicate what the situation was. The main office seems super disorganized and not on the same page at all between the different areas. Would not recommend to anyone and given the other reviews, seems like this company has a history of poor service. read more

We had water damage to our home and we were referred to Pro Klean. They came out the same day to help prevent further damage. They dealt with the insurance company for us which was so helpful. Pro Klean is great, I don't care what anyone else says. I contacted them when my grandmother called me one day freaking out that there was water all over her kitchen floor and she had no idea why. I rushed over to find her faucet had broken and water was gushing out underneath. I was able to get the water shut off but the damage was done. They had guys there within a few hours (on a Saturday by the way!) They cleaned up the water and put fans and machines to start drying. The set up to come back and meet with the insurance guy to go over the claim. The insurance was horrible and wanted to barely take care of anything. We ended up having to hire a public adjuster and he was awesome. Pro Klean took care of it all with the PA and arranged demo and rebuild of her whole kitchen. I did most of the dealings with them for my grandma, but being 87 and fully an independent spitfire, she had plenty of opinions! They took amazing care of her and dealt with her so calmly and patiently. Just a great company all around in my opinion. Highly recommend to anyone! read more

A tree fell on our house during a tornado a year ago. We immediately called our insurance company and asked them to recommend a business to repair the damage. Most of the damage was done to the siding, plus a few windows. They recommended Pro-Kleen. We figured they would recommend a reputable business so we made a commitment with them to do the work. We appreciated that they must have been swamped with work since the tornado did a lot of damage in our area. After six months passed by, we thought it was enough time for them to get to our house so we called them. A supervisor "Mark" did show up within a week or two after our call. He came back a second time with a contract that had specific details of the work they'd do and we signed it. That's the last we saw of Mark. Any complaints I had was strictly done over the phone with him, and any "supervision" he gave to his staff was done over the phone, or somewhere else because he never stepped foot on our property again. The guy who was the head of the vinyl installation staff was good. He was a hard worker, knew what he was doing, and did nice work. His helpers were another story. They constantly pulled the siding off our house and dragged it over to the dumpster. They gave zero attention to the nails that they were dropping along the way. To this day, a year later, I can walk out into the yard and pick a square foot area and find 3 or 4 nails in that random spot. This is not only irritating, but dangerous. I took a photo of several nails in the driveway, and texted it to Mark. He supposedly spoke to the guy who was the head of the crew, who supposedly spoke to the crew. I did not see any difference in their level of attention to the nails they were dropping. My wife usually spoke to Lisa in the office. Their interactions were always pleasant. Lisa was not always on top of the details, however, and often had to get back to us. I suppose that is understandable with all the clients they must have. Not to be repetitive, but now, one year later, we are just getting around to hear about Pro-Kleen not charging us for the Tyvek they put on our house. We also have a complaint into them for a piece of siding that they did not install, and are now waiting for a guy to look at it. No appointment has been set so he's supposed to show up at some random time. No doubt this will need several calls to get him to show up... if it happens at all. While our experience with Pro-Kleen was not 100% terrible, with very little effort it could have been a positive experience. We like the work the crew leader did, and it is because of him that our house looks good. The rest of the work done by everyone else was lacking. They ruined several of our foundation shrubs, some of them being very expensive slow-growing dwarf plants. While Mark explained to me that they had to put up the scaffolding, blah, blah, blah, I now look at parts of plants that are dead because they didn't adjust the scaffolding by an inch or two. They had no regard for the damage they were doing, and a lot of it could have been avoided while they still would have gotten the scaffolding up where they needed it. I don't know what Mark does except get people to sign the contracts. Lisa is random, but I suspect that is because she is overworked. The rest of the crew who worked on our house was worthless, creating a dangerous situation for our feet and car tires with dropping of nails and destruction of property with their sloppy scaffolding placement as well as stepping everywhere with their work boots on our shrubbery. I would hire the individual crew head again, but the rest of them NO. read more
