John C at the office , Harold project manager and Lisa at the office were such a pleasure to deal with. Honestly I can't thank them enough for taking care me. My situation was very complicated because the pipe in behind the bathroom walls bursted and water was coming from the walls and since it's a condo unit it makes it even more difficult... Before getting pro klean involved I was having so much difficulty dealing with multiple parties condo association, plumber, insurance company etc.. Thank God I got pro klean involved because they dealt with everyone and kept me in the loop about everything also they expedited everything to get my issue resolved as soon as possible. I highly recommend pro klean restoration for any water leak, fire, mold or anything. They are amazing! Thank you! -Sachin Momaya

Please, DO NOT USE ProKlean, look elsewhere. Two and a half years after they repaired our house…read morefrom a tree falling on it we are still finding subpar and unsafe work issues. Paint stated to peel within months of moving back in. The dishwasher was installed crooked and the bottom cabinet pieces fell off immediately. ProKlean actually left the kitchen unfinished (even though contracted to do it) with the new sink left in the garage. We had to hire an outside contractor to install the sink and faucet as well as all the countertops. The bathroom light was installed upside down. It works, however, had it had been hung correctly it wouldn't need constant cleaning out due to the light bulb covers facing up catching dust and such. Proklean also never finished the attic. Insulation was left exposed in many places despite our request for them buy extra plywood sheets that we would pay for. Today, March 20, 2026, while rearranging some of the boxes containing our things they left in the attic, we discovered that the wood support beams installed during the repair had nails sticking out and exposed on one side. An injury almost occurred due to this nail exposure. The garage door opener keypad stopped working within a year. The original, working one, had to be replaced by them because it got broken apart by the workers haphazard in and out of the garage. It was replaced with a generic one that lasted about three days. We had to insist they put another new one on that was the same as the one the workers had broken. The door not opening might also be that the motor for it seems to have been shoddily repaired with electrical tape. The whole process was a nightmare. We would stop by sometimes to see the progress and would find that their workers didn't even know what was going on. All they could say was that they had to call their boss. Doors and windows were continually left open and unlocked after the workers left, leaving rooms at the mercy of the elements and or wildlife. Three plate glass windows were broken during the repair which we then had to harp about to get replaced. The tarps put on the roof were so inadequate it leaked throughout the house. We are now having to keep our prayers up for the new roof which was installed. The front lawn also got deeply torn up during a delivery of either siding or wood. The driver drove the truck across the front lawn and parked in front of the bay window leaving such deep ruts in its path that ProKlean had to have it reseeded. The shoddy, subpar and unsafe repairs on the house are just shy of criminal. It may have been subcontractors who did the damage and inferior work, however, they were hired by ProKlean. Our insurance company paid for all billed repairs in a timely fashion with no issues. We now deeply regret our choice of ProKlean for the house repairs and having them paid for such a disastrous job done.

Picking a reputable contractor can definitely be a nerve-racking issue. I had searched and…read moreinterviewed many contractors before deciding on Southern Ct Restoration. A friend of mine had highly recommended them. I had trusted my friend's recommendation and contacted SCR. Instead of getting into details, I will tell you my last meeting/dealing with SCR ended with hugs and handshakes. During the whole experience I felt like I was dealing with family. Multiple areas of my home were worked on from; floor tiling, hardwood, painting, decking, lighting, plumbing, concrete work, and even driveway paving. All employees were super respectful, professional, and very cautious of being clean in finished areas of the house. The need for a review on SCR, is definitely in order. They made our house, into a home that we could never imagine. Thanks Guys!! Wayne and Iris Festa

People are nice and friendly at first. In fact, I waited to post this review hoping that either a…read moretelephone call would be returned or workers would return to complete the job. The floor sanders did damage to the floors they were supposed to fix. They left the house with debris and a mess. Yes. A cleaning crew came back after a week, but they only fixed the obvious mistakes. See pictures. In the garage they were to replace drywall. They did a subpar job on cutting pieces that fit, damaged a piece of furniture, and left plaster and insulation debris on the workbench and did not cover anything down there. Additionally, they removed fixtures for lights and left them unattached and with wires for the fixtures plus the garage door opener hanging in the garage. Very disappointed. USAA Insurance should remove them from the provider list and Southern Ct folks should beware of the polite people who leave shabby and incomplete work, refuse to return telephone calls, and generally cancel out the nice telephone call with the abusive way they handle your home. Don't trust them. It was a waste to leave the house unoccupied for more than a week and allow them access for more than a month to sand floors and replace drywall and installation. They failed and don't seem to care about is.

He had a worker Jose with him that was the calming factor. Bill seemed to care more about his work than us and Jose was customer focused. Then the movers came Friday and Juan and Jeff were awesome. Also Cindy the lead packer did an amazing job. Juan always kept saying we are here for you. They did not finish on Friday and we requested the same guys Saturday. I believe Servpro should have to compensate for this cost to run their equipment for their service. Now asked for cost break down. Total cost $6,463.67 unreal for amount of work performed, now going over cost break down so far-seeing things they did not perform. Because of amount of bill, services on bill break down that were not performed, giving low ratings, if you're going to use them get a cost estimate first.
