Leon is a trustworthy guy!…read more My husband and I recently bought a new house and wanted to make sure we established a relationship with an HVAC company. I am thankful that people have left Leon great reviews because he deserves each and every one of them. I enjoy Leon's approach to his customers. He is proactive and extremely knowledgeable and he isn't afraid to share his knowledge to educate us newbies on the things we can do to take care of our HVAC system. We hired him for a consultation to make sure everything was in order and it costs $70 which is a steal, considering the time Leon takes to teach you things. My brother (a fellow homeowner) suggested a biannual HVAC inspection but because of Leon's trustworthiness, he stated that due to how new my house is and what great condition everything is running in, he would suggest annual maintenance for now. He stayed honest and didn't take advantage of the fact that I had zero experience with this stuff. I also appreciate the fact that Leon prioritizes his emergent cases while keeping me informed of when I can expect to get an appointment. Thanks Leon, you are a 10 out of 5 star dude!

Bad business practice. I previously used this company when they were called Elite Comfort and gave…read morethem a great review. However, that's not the case with this new company, Air Tech. While the technician was professional, the estimate they gave was outrageous. The technician said I needed a new evaporator coil. If you look online, you'd be hard-pressed to find one for more than $1,000. He mentioned it would take two technicians and six hours to complete the job. Even if we assume the technicians charge $100 per hour (which is a stretch), that brings the labor cost to $1,200, and the total so far to $2,200. Let's add a 50% markup for the company, which brings the total to $3,300. That's still high, but they quoted me $4,980! Obviously, I shopped around and found a much more reasonable estimate--nearly 50% less from a reputable company. The bad business practice here is charging nearly $100 for the diagnostic, knowing the estimate was outrageous. You could literally build a business around giving inflated estimates with the sole intention of collecting diagnostic fees.

I cannot say enough good things about Carlos and his entire team at EZ Comfort AC & Heating. After…read morea very frustrating experience with another furnace company that installed a furnace in our new home incorrectly and not up to code, Carlos and his team came in and completely changed my experience with HVAC companies. From the very beginning, Carlos was transparent, trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly responsive. You can tell immediately that he and his crew are true experts at what they do. What impressed me most is that they never tried to sell me on things I didn't need. Instead, they took the time to listen to what was actually important to me -- having clean, healthy air in my home and making sure my HVAC system was working properly and safely. I originally hired EZ Comfort to clean my air ducts, but once they evaluated everything, they were able to help me address several issues that had been left behind by the previous furnace installation. They cleaned my condenser, helped bring my furnace up to code, fixed the heater stand, corrected the transition, installed UV lighting, thoroughly cleaned my air ducts, and did an absolutely amazing job from start to finish. Carlos and his crew worked their butts off. They came out to our home in Kingwood and had an incredible sense of urgency to help us. They were fast, efficient, incredibly responsive, and solved all of our problems within a matter of days. I honestly have never experienced that level of urgency and willingness to help from an HVAC company. And the difference in my home is unbelievable. Before calling EZ Comfort, my house was getting up to around 78-82 degrees during the day. Now, when I set my thermostat to 73°, my house actually stays at 73°. My home smells clean, feels clean, and is finally comfortable. That is all thanks to Carlos and his crew. They were also super friendly, honest, and competitively priced. I never felt pressured, and I always felt like they genuinely cared about doing the job right. I am so incredibly happy that I called EZ Comfort. After this experience, I cannot imagine hiring another HVAC company. As long as Carlos and his team are in business, they will be the only company I call. If you are in the Kingwood area and need HVAC work, air duct cleaning, or simply want someone you can actually trust, I highly recommend EZ Comfort AC & Heating. Thank you, Carlos and the entire EZ Comfort crew, for taking such great care of our home! You guys were amazing!
