Do not use Revive & Refinish…read more Their crew started spraying paint approximately three hours after arriving without properly cleaning or preparing my house. I hired this company for an approximately $11,000 exterior painting project largely because of its many five-star reviews and the extensive preparation process it promised. My Ring footage shows that the house was not power-washed before painting began. After inspecting the property, I found paint applied directly over dirt, cobwebs, insects, loose material and unsanded wood. Requested hardware was painted around or painted over, substantial areas were missed, large holes were filled improperly, and damaged stucco and wood remained unrepaired. These were not minor punch-list items to correct during a final walkthrough. Cleaning, scraping, sanding, patching and repairing are fundamental steps that should have been completed before any paint was applied. After I documented the issues, the crew returned for a second day. Unfortunately, I continued finding incomplete preparation, rough and unsanded wood, debris, open holes, improper caulking and unacceptable repairs. Instead of properly correcting and completing the project, Revive & Refinish informed me that it would not return because it felt there was a "lack of trust" in its crew and process. My concerns were based on Ring footage and extensive photographic evidence of the work performed. I am now left with an incomplete project and improperly applied paint that another licensed contractor will need to inspect and correct. Leaving unused body paint at my property does not compensate me for the defective work or complete the project. I have requested a full refund of my deposit and am obtaining an independent assessment and estimate for the corrective work.

For only two painters, they were able to complete the work in the timeframe we were quoted, which was great. However, there were a few communication and cleanup issues that prevented this from being a 5-star experience. As a military family, we were grateful for the military discount provided by the project manager, Fermin. He was highly professional, communicative, and even included a few complimentary touch-ups, like refreshing our light fixtures and painting the side garage door. Unfortunately, property care at the end of the project fell short. The crew removed our security camera bases to ensure an even paint job but didn't notify us where they were placed. We had to search our yard and eventually found them stashed inside our outdoor cat house and a flower bed. Additionally, the side garage door weatherstripping was removed for painting and left off. Even if the crew intentionally left it off to allow the paint to dry completely, failing to communicate that instruction to us, left us to figure it out and reinstall it ourselves. The painting itself deserves praise, and the project manager provided our full paid receipt and warranty information as requested. However, better attention to detail regarding communication and final cleanup is needed. We were happy to support a business in the Inland Empire.

We have 6 steps that were laid unevenly so they are broken and cracked. It happened almost immediately so yes, they did come out and replace the broken steps initially. A few months later, it happened again. And again. They came out, I believe twice, to replace until, "oops" your warranty is no longer valid. So now, we just have these effed up cracked steps. The rest of the house is great. Just use caution because I don't think the installers they used know how to account for any irregularities. For reference- my husband is 5'11 and 190lb and my son is 6'2 and 185lbs. I am 5'7 and 145lbs. We are not overweight or extremely heavy people. We also do not have pets.

Pro Choice came highly recommended so we interviewed them along with several other contractors in the area. They were the best by far, providing us with a quote for great quality at an affordable price and we thankfully went with them. This review has been way overdue! I've used Robert and Eric on 2 separate occasions. They tore down a patio covering, rebuilt a new one and painted the exterior of my house. Several months later, I called them back to redo our bathroom tile and replace some interior doors. They know that every time I call them for a certain project, I always add to the list with additional things I'd like done. I'm not always an easy customer but each time, they are happy to accommodate! I've referred them 4 times to friends and neighbors who have all used their service! A few of us decided to paint 4 rooms of our mother's house the Labor Day weekend of 2020. We figured in a couple of days or so. Got everything moved and prep-ed through the week. We started early Sat. morning and had a snafu that set us back 4 or 5 hours. We bit off more than we could chew. We needed help and short of time. Realizing that it was Labor day weekend, I made about 9 calls anyway for painters. No luck and discouraged. Then my sister made a call to Pro-Choice Decor. It's been nearly a year since Robert and his Pro Choice staff completed a remodel for us. Robert is incredibly responsive and they did great work. 10/10. WE have been using Pro Choice Decor, Erik and Robert, for about 20 years. We have some rental property and they have done work on all of them including our home. Over the years they painted interiors, exteriors remodeled bathrooms, kitchens, repaired dry wall, did electrical work and did concrete and brick work. I don't know of anything they can't do. This was the best teams I have worked with. They did exactly what we asked. My home looks like a model home. We asked Mr. Robert at least 15 times to add or change something and his team did it. The team showed up everyday at 7:55 without fail. We added fans, recess lighting, crown molding, base boards. Whole house painted inside and out. I was looking for a company that could paint the exterior of the house, do the wood rehab of a custom skylight, repair/rehab of wood trim around certain windows that were leaking, and then be reasonably priced compared to everyone else. HSH had really good reviews, was licensed, competitively priced, and Al's communication and follow up the entire time was excellent! HSH was at a price point that was not the lowest and not the highest either given what needed to be done to the house. After locking in the project, Al was really good following up on the details of the paint, what needed to be done, and the start date. HSH was always early, communicated the entire time to address my needs/concerns, and when i did not like the color we had selected, Al quickly adjusted by returning to the paint store to make sure we were satisfied. I really appreciated him taking my concern seriously and wanted to ensure we were happy. After the project was done there were several areas I brought up to his attention, and he immediately addressed them without an ask. Al's responsiveness to concerns and clients satisfaction is an outlier in today's day and age, and I really appreciated him taking ownership of correcting what was missed. Overall, what a great experience and Al was a Pro. I would definitely recommend HSH to anyone looking to start a paint/rehab project.

Top notch professional work and customer service. The workers were very friendly and helpful. The demo and clean up were done in a timely manner. Any changes that we needed were done in an expedient way. Josh gave us many great options and advice but ultimately he honored any request that we made.
