First I have to start by saying that I normally avoid contracting people to come into my house to do work. I have been planning to paint our house for years and finally had to accept that I needed help. I was dreading having to figure out who would come and work on our home. After reading review for Belman's Painting I decided to call for a quote. First of all, Rick is amazing. From the get-go I could tell that he was experienced and trustworthy. He walked the house, asked me how much work I was interested in doing on the home, and provided me with ideas on what his crew would do for us. He listened to me and was just very direct about what his team would do for us. That night he gave us a quote and said: I promise that my crew will do the very best....and they ABSOLUTELY did! The crew showed up every day super early and worked all day to get our home done in a week! My husband said: "These guys are like the Lebron James of painting", and he is not off that mark. We hit a hick-up right at the very beginning. We wanted to paint our Pergola, but as we started looking more closely at it we quickly discovered that it was in a worse condition than we originally thought. Rick said that his crew could fix a couple of boards if that was all that was wrong, but as we looked the whole thing was totally trashed. Rick took the time to find someone who could come in and fix our Pergola so that his crew could still finish painting it the same week! WHO DOES THAT? He literally found the person, told him what needed to get done, and made sure that this person did the job right in time for his crew to do their job! WHAT? AMAZING! Like I said, I really dislike dealing with contractors and it meant SO much to me that Rick did this for us. What could have been a total nightmare was easily resolved because of Rick's thoughtfulness. But, there's more. The paint job is absolutely perfect. I kept telling the crew that they are true artists. The time they took to make every detail just...perfect...is truly appreciated. Let me tell you, our house needed some love and they provided it. I can go on and on about how amazing they are for anyone who is looking for someone to paint their home....but I will let pictures speak for themselves. Our house was yellow and we spruced it up by turning it into RainDrop, which is the official name my son has given to our newly painted home.

Isn't she lovely, isn't she wonderful

Hi, returning customer here. There many painters out there, but let me assure you, none like Belman's. Not only did my Realtor think a 5 year old paint job was freshly done, but so did the buyers. Belman's quality work out shines it's competitors and at a fair price. So it was a no brainer to hire Belman's again. I have beautiful wood ceilings in my new home, which Rick and his team did not spill a drop of paint on. Additionally, my plaster walls needed some TLC due to age and abuse. Everything and I mean everything came out beautifully. If there's one thing that sets Belman's apart from the others, is that he's not satisfied until you are. Finally my house feels like a home. Thank you Rick Belman!

I highly recommend Rick and his crew! They did an amazing job, paid close attention to detail, and were very reliable! Not only did he quote me a very reasonable price, he is timely and very professional. Overall, he is an awesome guy! Not only was he kind to me, but to his crew as well. Thanks Rick for the awesome job! I will for sure continue to do business with Belman's Painting.

One of the best paint companies and the most honest guys you'llever meet. We hired Rick on a last minute move and he obliged had his crew were here and the property was painted in less than a week. Rick you and your guys are awesome thank you.

These guys drove from the Corona/Riverside area to our home daily and showed up on time. We felt the pricing was fair for the size of our home, and the overall value for the work done was excellent. For only two painters, they were able to complete the work in the timeframe we were quoted, which was great. However, there were a few communication and cleanup issues that prevented this from being a 5-star experience. As a military family, we were grateful for the military discount provided by the project manager, Fermin. He was highly professional, communicative, and even included a few complimentary touch-ups, like refreshing our light fixtures and painting the side garage door.  Unfortunately, property care at the end of the project fell short. The crew removed our security camera bases to ensure an even paint job but didn't notify us where they were placed. We had to search our yard and eventually found them stashed inside our outdoor cat house and a flower bed. Additionally, the side garage door weatherstripping was removed for painting and left off. Even if the crew intentionally left it off to allow the paint to dry completely, failing to communicate that instruction to us, left us to figure it out and reinstall it ourselves.  The painting itself deserves praise, and the project manager provided our full paid receipt and warranty information as requested. However, better attention to detail regarding communication and final cleanup is needed. We were happy to support a business in the Inland Empire.

I initially did not intend on moving forward with their company since they were not the cheapest around. However, something told me to pay the premium and I am very glad I did. After seeing the final product, it makes complete sense why they are not cheap and why the name is Revive and Refinish. They do a whole lot more than paint, they revived the home by fixing all of the imperfections around the house before painting. This makes the world of a difference, comparing to two previous homes I have had painted in the past. Jack makes sure to go over every detail of the job with you and ensures that you are completely satisfied with the end result. I would recommend these guys to anyone who wants a 5-star job.

1-star for an attempted mid-job bait-and-switch…read more Revive and Refinish gave us a written quote for a fixed price, which we signed based on the stated scope. They arrived late, removed our doors, and sanded some of them. Then, after work had already started, the painter on site said the existing paint required more sanding than expected and that there was suddenly an issue with the original quote. At that point, no clear additional price was given on site, and no one from the company proactively contacted me. I had to call them myself, and only then was I told by Jack that the job would cost an additional $1,300. That is not how a professional company should operate. Their written scope already included prep and painting, and sanding/prep were discussed from the beginning. If the price was truly conditional, that should have been clearly disclosed before we signed. It was not. Instead, they started the job, removed our doors, and only raised a pricing issue after work was already underway. There was no written change order, no revised estimate, and no approval from us before the project stopped. Once we refused to proceed under those circumstances, they reinstalled everything and refunded our deposit, which was appropriate -- but that does not excuse how the job was handled. At least one door was reinstalled improperly, there was an exposed hinge cutout/mortise left on the door edge, and visible patch/filler material was left on the door jamb and trim near the latch/strike area. The doors were not returned in their original condition. This was not a clean reset. It wasted our time, disrupted our home, and forced us to restart the project with another company. We obtained multiple additional quotes, all lower than their original quote, and now have another company scheduled to complete the work this week for less than what Revive and Refinish originally quoted us. The actual painters themselves were polite and professional. The real issue was the estimate, the communication, and raising a pricing issue only after work had already begun. As reflected in my review history, I do not leave negative reviews lightly. Be careful. Update after Owner response: Your response actually reinforces my main concern. You stated you continued working based on an "understanding" that the additional work was approved. That is exactly the issue. If extra work is needed, the price should be clearly provided and explicitly approved before continuing -- not assumed mid-project. My husband only spoke to a painter and was never given a price, I had to text you to get that information. We specifically pointed out the prior paint job on the doors during the estimate because we were already concerned about it. Your representative looked at them, took photos, and had the opportunity to identify or at least flag any potential prep issues before work began. If this is a known possibility that can significantly affect the scope and price, then a qualified painter should be involved during the estimate. That is exactly why we scheduled estimates with multiple companies and set aside time for your company to properly evaluate the project before work began. That is the entire purpose of an estimate. Your response also highlights a deeper issue with your system: if conditions that can significantly affect scope and price are only "discovered" after work begins, then your estimates and contracts are clearly not as reliable as customers are led to believe. Without having a qualified painter involved during the estimate, this same mid-project price increase issue could easily happen again to future customers. Unexpected conditions can happen, but that does not excuse poor communication or proceeding without a properly documented change order. My husband was not given a clear additional price upfront before work continued, and that should never happen on a professionally managed project. No reasonable customer would be comfortable with a $1,300 mid-project price increase after already signing a contract -- especially when the work then leaves the home in worse condition than it was before. Future customers should absolutely be aware of that.

We found two companies to come out to give us a quote, which was Bright Painting & Heights Painting. Peter from Heights Painting came out first. He gave me a quote of $1200 for the front, partial side of the house, the peak above the front of the house, and $300 for the stucco on side of the house. Sunny from Bright Painting came out and the first thing she decides to do is peel off my paint on my house. I had attached a picture to show you how much she peeled off. I understand the paint is really bad, but we didn't give her any authorization to peel the paint off when she is only coming here to give us a quote and we don't know when we may end up doing the painting. Once she gave us a quote, it was $500 more compared to Heights Painting. Their price and unprofessionalism already made them lost our business and interest. We went with Peter since his price was very reasonable, professional, and had great reviews. He was able to do the project earlier than it was scheduled. The front of the house took 2 days to do and the side stucco was about 1 hour. The paint job came out really nice on the house. We would definitely use him again.
