I, of course, told her that I don't hear anything (wishful thinking on my part). So I take it in to Torrance Motors without an appointment and ask if they could take a quick look at it to verify it is still safe to drive, as we had a long upcoming trip in a few days. They right away put it up on the lift and verified that it was safe to drive. However, the control arm, tie rods and bushings (leaking grease) were shot. Showed me the pictures and it was a mess. This level of repair was not cheap...but it was reasonable. No more complaints from my wife...at least about the car.

Had 1.25" front leveling spacers installed along with an alignment on my RAV4. Dropped it off right…read morewhen they opened at 8:30 AM and it was ready by lunchtime. The alignment was slightly off at first, but they told me to bring it back and got it dialed in perfectly the following day. They stand behind their work and even told me to come back if anything needed to be re-torqued after the suspension settled. The results came out great. The stance looks much better with the factory rake reduced, and the ride quality still feels smooth and OEM-like. No noises, vibrations, or issues afterward. The vehicle drives straight and handles great. Professional service, quality work, and solid communication throughout the process. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a clean leveling spacer install done right.

They said it's not a huge emergency to fix yet, but I decided to do it anyways to save another trip to the mechanic. They did the alignment in another 2 hours and picked me up when it was done. A second licensed repair facility later identified that a vacuum/breather hose in the same repair area was not properly connected, along with other concerns that could not be safely corrected due to an overtightened bolt. I attempted to resolve the issue directly, but was not able to reach a resolution and ultimately had to escalate the matter. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before proceeding with repairs here.

Herbert was a big help for me with getting my 2016 Honda accord touring fixed. I had taken it to…read moremultiple mechanics AND the dealer, and no one could tell me exactly what my issue was and just be straight with me. I had an emissions system issue that gave me the code 'P0139'. The first mechanic I took it to last year told me that it was a simple o2 sensor issue (rightfully so considering the code I was getting), yet when he replaced the sensor, the light continually came on. So he replaced it again, and replaced another o2 sensor on the vehicle (according to him). When none of that worked, he told me that my catalytic converter was faulty, and that I was going to have to pay roughly 8k for a new one. Safe to say I didn't believe him, nor did I stick around and simply take his word for it. I started making calls and, at first, genuinely believed that I was going to have to come up with the 8k by summer 2026 (when my smog inspection was due). I thought at one point I was sold a faulty vehicle too and even tried to receive compensation for the error. Turns out that wasn't the case, and even if it was, there wasn't much I could about it anymore. I took it to others who quoted me ridiculous prices for a simple diagnostic, I took it to others that just simply couldn't tell me what was wrong, and then to make things more confusing, the light would go on and off and would even go off long enough for me to pass smog!!! (Even though the first guy I went to said my catalytic converter was bad). Then, I looked online and found Master Tech. Great reviews, great location in the South Bay (Torrance), and fair pricing. Diagnostic was about 160, which would go toward repairs if needed, and if they couldn't find the issue I'd pay zero dollars! When I first got there, already Herbert pointed out things no mechanic pointed out before. I was told and under the impression that all my sensors were new and changed... they weren't. He also informed me that my vehicle was an American built one (not Japanese or Canadian, which I heard can make all the difference in quality). That's information that, although wasn't a huge concern, let me know that this guy paid attention to detail and really cared about what he was doing. He then told me to leave it with him later on in the week so he could give the vehicle TLC (tender love and care), and to be comfortable with not having my vehicle for a couple days (wasn't a problem at all). Eventually he gets back to me after a day and lets me know that the sensor had to be changed out with an oem one, as the previous mechanic put in an aftermarket one. On the day that I picked the car up and paid for the install, we both hopped in and took it for a ride, and the engine was running smooth like butter now. No more rich running (causing my gas to burn faster), and no more harsh shifting. He then hands me over the old sensor and informs me that I should go get my money back from the other mechanic. It turns out, the other guy was trying to screw me over (surprise, surprise!), whereas Herbert was honest and righteous. The piece the other mechanic put in was a Bosch sensor, made specifically for German made vehicles. Smh. It was for VOLKSWAGENS and the like ONLY. He was just trying to get me to pay him thousands, and perhaps allow me to further damage my engine and transmission from the issues he was forcing my vehicle to go thru for the time that it wasn't working properly due to a lazy, incompatible o2 sensor. I was relieved that I found Herbert who was able to help me and install the correct piece for a fair price (443 roughly, as opposed to the almost 700 dollars the dealer would've tried to charge me). I like his style, and he is definitely a righteous mechanic. Thank you bro!

Flash forward a couple hours later, after fixing my car myself, I left a bad Google review for this guy so that people know he is a scammer. Well he replies and makes up a whole story about how I was cussing him out for a long time and interupting other customers. His story in the review had several contradictions in it and he must have realized it, since he deleted it or challenged my review via the system. After reviewing the other reviews, it appears clear to me that he is manipulating the Google system for a better rating. Definitely avoid if you do not know about auto repairs. Strange scamming behavior.

Again, I don't know a great deal about cars, but him and his team were able to describe car parts in a simplistic way. I own a 2004 BMW 325i. I was told from several other mechanics that the engine was shot because it was smoking so badly from the exhaust. I was almost ready to drive it off of a cliff then I found PRO CAR MECHANICS. Sam, Carlos and their staff of professional mechanics not only fixed the smoking problem. They also replaced my rear view mirror and buffed out my left front headlight back to clear status. They did other work to the car that doesn't need mentioning. But what does need mentioning is the fact that Sam and Carlos are dedicated to their customers. These guys are the real deal. I came to pro-car in search of a 2005 Subaru LGT. I told Z exactly what i was looking for and he got me the car down to the type of paint and interior i was looking for, although it took a few months it was well worth the wait. I bought my car almost a year ago now and i have been coming back to get my service done as needed. This place is the fairest and most thorough auto repair place I've ever used. Their prices are so much lower than all the other places I've ever used over the years and I've had just about every kind of car you can think of from Range Rover, BMW and Mercedes. I've recommended them to my brother for his 7 series BMW however he might not need them as of yet because the car is just a year old & still under warrantee. I live all the way in Chino and I drive out to get my car serviced here (50+ miles) because their prices are VERY competitive and their service is fast. Every other mechanic I have been to has tried to up-sell services that I did not need. These guys do not do that and it is why I continue getting my car serviced here. My car was stolen and recovered by LAPD. I was labeled as a salvage vehicle by the DMV and Pro Car Mechanics fixed all the problems and found others that could have been a driving hazard. From my very first phone call, I had a great experience. I called on a Thursday, and they were able to get me in the very next day. The receptionist was friendly, welcoming, and made the entire scheduling process incredibly easy. When I dropped my car off on Friday, I explained the steering concerns I'd been experiencing. They listened carefully, assured me they would thoroughly inspect everything, and later that afternoon called to let me know they expected to have the car ready by Monday. What impressed me the most was their honesty. After inspecting my car, they told me they couldn't find anything that needed to be replaced regarding my steering concerns. They easily could have recommended unnecessary repairs, and I never would have known the difference, but they chose to be honest instead. That kind of integrity is hard to find. They also performed a wheel alignment, topped off my tire pressure, and even identified a completely separate issue that will need attention in the future. They gave me a quote for that repair without any pressure or sales tactics. To top it all off, my final bill was nearly $200 less than I had originally expected. Finding a mechanic you can genuinely trust is rare, and I feel like I found one. Roberto's Auto Repair has earned a customer for life. If you're looking for honest people who do quality work and treat customers with respect, I can't recommend them enough.

I took my Bmw E92 M3 for inspection after buying it pre-owned to find out for any leaks and general…read morecheck up. I told them that I saw possible leak on the oil drain plug. Report showed leaking drain plug and needs new rear brakes and differential service. I let them replace the drain plug and differential service. When I got home, I still noticed oil leaks. I paid another shop for inspection ( bmw specialist) They found leaks on the air separator and oil filter housing. I had leaks resolved at the same shop. They also showed the error ( ghost code for the alternator) which they cleared. Did not get any obd testing result from Euro car masters. I am just disappointed for Euro car masters did not do a thorough inspection. I feel like they are more focused on replacing brakes, oil change and regular maintenance. I live near the shop but won't go back there anymore.
