It's been a few days since I took my truck there for exhaust repair. And I am still very upset at…read morethe guy who drove it from the parking lot into the shop bay. He put it in reverse and backed up with the Emergency brake engaged. The truck wouldn't move because the Emergency brake was engaged. So he just kept giving it more and more gas pedal. I heard the engine revved up to over half throttle and I yelled at him "the Emergency brake is set". The vehicle has a V8 with 360 HP, it will move at an idle. Also it will sound an alarm and post a notice on the instrument panel when you have it in gear with the Emergency brake engage!. I bought the truck new and have owned the truck for 14 years and I have never been near that hard on it. I can Not afford to have the drive train rebuilt. And I definitely do not want to buy another truck. It is unbelievable anybody could be this stupid and it is totally unacceptable. And he acted like it was nothing to be upset about. The tire b would lose air VERY slowly in commuting status, maybe a few pounds per week. However, on longer trips inbound lose 2 to 3 pounds an hour. The tech at Reichers had suspicion on the case, confirmed it and resolved it within a few hours. Turns out it was an installation issue common with Goodyear tires having a paper become right on the bead and the installer not removing it during the installation.
