I wanted to upgrade my car with a remote start and called and asked for pricing. Spade's was right in line with a few other installers that I had priced but the equipment they were using was something that I felt more comfortable with than what some others were using. Also, after reading reviews of some of the bad install jobs that The Geek Squad had done I decided to steer clear of Best Buy. Spade's performed a clean install and got me in on a bit of short notice. The unit works great and I would recommend Spade's for remote start install work. Ask for Matt.

So, I was on my own to find another company that Safelite has in their network for my 1997 BMW. I called Jack's Glass in Covington and Jason answered the phone, super helpful and found the way to yes I can help you. Thankfully, any windshield from 1993-1998 for a BMW 3 Series (E36) will work for my vehicle. Just to be sure, Jason had me come to his shop this past Friday on 27 March 2026 for a dry run to be sure the windshield would work and scheduled me for Monday the 30th at 0800 when we realized it would. The technician was done by 0845 and I was on my way at 0900 after letting the sealer set for 15 minutes, quality, service and value were top notch, thanks again Jason! Jason has been in the biz his whole life, so he knows glass inside and out, highly recommended!!

I won't be returning to this shop for service and definitely not to buy. I scheduled an…read moreappointment for the 13th at 8 am on July 1st and on Thursday, I went in. They had no record of it, and the response I received made me feel like I had to show my calendar appointment and the call records. Jason got me in anyway which was nice, and he was very pleasant to work with. My one star is because my cup holder insert was removed from my truck during the servicing!!! I didn't notice right when they finished because it was pouring rain and I was late for work (waited over 90 min). When I got in my car in the afternoon, I saw immediately it was gone. I drove to the shop straight aw y and Jason was there to speak with me. He said the mechanic who serviced my car has a Mazda, so it doesn't make any sense for it to be missing. It's a standard size on ford trucks, I am assuming, so I can imagine someone taking liberties, knowing I can't prove it. On Jason's part, he went to look, but quite in show, because if it was taken, it wouldn't be sitting out as evidence. Took my number but really didn't seem that concerned. They're right, I can't prove it, but it is a real pain in the ass and quite astounding. Long story short, if I can't trust a place with the simple plastic accoutrements in my car, I'm not going to trust them again with my engine.

Retraction - after meeting Kevin in the spring after purchasing an Aston Martin Vantage that I…read moredidn't think I would modify in any way, he suggested a few subtle styling ideas that rare for a custom shop. He had an appreciation for car, it's styling and how someone might want to make it their own without ruining the original intent of a company know for beautiful design. To offset the gloss black metallic paint he ran a section of exposed brushed titanium over the raised section of the hood, marched the side mirrors in the same and used tint on tail and side light to match to finish of the tint on the side and rear glass. I love how it turned out and it's one of the only Aston's I've seen modified that is equally well received by owners in their 20s and those who have held on to their db5 for 60 years. The biggest compliment I can give is nearly everyone who sees it says they didn't know Aston Martin had factory design changes and they are surprised They don't see more who add these on the build sheet. Talking what I think is one of the most beautiful designs of any company in the world, layering on it and arguably finding the balance between making a noticeable change while not forcing it to be something it wasn't intended.
